Everything was perfect, important to keep in mind that in order to reach the accommodation you need to drive up a very steep road, but it was perfectly do-able for us.

The villa had a gorgeous view over Lagio Maggiore and Isola Bella. The rooms looked very nice and were very clean. There was a small breakfast ready for us every morning, which we would have downstairs, and there was even room service, which I have never seen in a booked villa. The owner was very kind as well. We were able to park the car for free.

It is up a steep small road, which is ok once you are used to it. We did walk up and down to lakeside so not a problem.

We were not informed before that we had to check in at hotel flora, hence we wasted time going back and forth. Breakfast was on the pricey side. Difficult to reach without a car.

The scene from this accommodation is one of the best we’ve experienced. It offers an uninterrupted view overlooking the islands on Lake Como. The accommodation is large and spacious and to a very high standard.

Location was a little too far out of old Stresa to comfortably walk in and out unless you are very fit. The drive up to the apartment which is around 400 metres long is very steep, and then you have around another mile to get into Stresa on top of that, but then again you wouldn't have that amazing view if it wasn't up high.

This is a great size room, very comfortable with the most wonderful view. You could also use the Hotel Flora facilities which was around 800 metres from the apartment.

The villa was pretty far up a hill that was un expected so we did have to carry our bags and walk a decent bit to get to it. If we would have known we could have planned better.

The room was much larger than expected with a walk in closet and two couches. It was really clean and had such an amazing view.

It was not clear that it would be best to have a car. Property down busy road from Hotel Flora where you pick up key and then up a very steep, windy cobblestone road. No way we could get our luggage there. Suggest that if not have car, transfer at check in & check out to be done. They did nicely take our luggage up and then drive us to place when room was ready. Also arranged an early morning taxi for us to meet bus transfer to Milan airport. So for us it worked, but climbing up & down that hill to get into Stresa is not for everyone.

Lovely place to stay with gorgeous views. Right across the islands and you could look back & see it from the lake.Plenty of space and nice table outside with view --pretty flowers all planted. Clean and liked mini fridge. Location very good as it is near boat terminal ( not main one in Stresa) and can easily buy tickets to islands & up & down lake. Also a nice walk along lake path to town of Stresa for restaurants & shopping. Hop on & off boat for islands was a great thing to do.

It wasnt clear in the booking that you collect keys from Hotel Flora. It is more of a self catered studio which could be made clearer. It would be nice to have a pod coffee machine in the room.

Its a fabulous location with great views and surrounded by lush vegetation. The room was large and comfortable.

Beautiful location with just the best views you can imagine. Keys are collected from Hotel Flora and the staff there were very friendly. Villa Maria is very clean and is like a hotel apartment, so it will suit eating out or having takeaways delivered.
