This was one of our favourite places to stay during our time in Italy. Rooms very nice. Staff exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Ate at the restaurant which was delicious. Would highly recommend.

The mini fridge was kind of noisy.

This place is amazing! It is a renovated old villa, with all the period furnishing still in place. The rooms also have the same style, except for the bathroom that is modern, big and spot-clean. I only stayed one night for work, but if I can I would love to come back for a couples' weekend here. I ate dinner at the restaurant, and was also very very satisfied. Food was very good and service also, very polite and quick.

Excellent experience! Beautiful place, very relaxing surroundings. Well kept and classic property. Located in the countryside, I don't think there is a lot to do in the area, but bring a book or just enjoy the tranquility. The staff was very friendly and personal yet slightly reserved, with balance and integrity. Calm and pleasant. The pool was nice and the kids had fun with inflatable animals and such provided by the hotel. Very nice dinner restaurant.

We had a wonderful stay in hotel villa Montanarini. Everything was perfect: the room and the decoration, the very kind owners (who prepared dinner for us although the restaurant was already closed), the swimmingpool and the very quiet neigbourhood. We will definitely come back. We highly recommend this hotel.

Mosquitos! Take some deet with you and you won't regret any moment spent in this beautiful place.

Staff was amazing, very welcoming. Owners helps in every possible occassion. We've come with a baby and they prepared a pool and toys for him. We had a very spacious and stylish room. Great brakfas with homemade cakes and yoghurts.

I do like vegetables with my main meal. When having delicious lasagne one night, I asked for 'insalata mista'. They duly made me one and it was perfect with my lasagne. I think you just need to ask. However, it might be a good idea to have some side dishes on the menu e.g. salads.

The hotel was in a quiet location. It was very spacious and all the areas were beautiful to look at. Pictures, ornaments, furniture, carpets and the general ambience of the hotel was very good. The room was spacious with a lovely area to sit in. The bed was large and comfortable. The mosquito nets on the windows as well as the 'black out' curtains were very effective.

The property was just great but there is one thing some people may not like. The villa is situated in the middle of the countryside, so there are plenty of fields around the property. Thanks to this, on some days you can smell the fertilizers and hear tractors working nearby. They could also work on the breakfast part. It is very basic, no vegetables or eggs but the staff are very helpful so they will prepare eggs for you if you ask. If you are vegan or have other dietary restrictions, I suggest informing the hotel prior to your arrival.

Amazing historical villa quietly located in the middle of nowhere, but also very strategically if you want to explore the Emilia Romagna region and Toscana. The motorway that connects you with ease to Verona, Mantua, Bologna, Modena, Lake Garda, Ravenna, Florence and many more is very close, but far enough away that you can't hear it. An ideal place for everyone who likes peace and wants to relax in the pool after a long day of sightseeing. Very spacious and clean rooms.
