You need your be fit as there are a number of steps to negotiate. But this is made clear on the booking info for the property.

Rina the owner was extreme friendly and helpful. Gave advice on places to visit. Her food was wonderful too.

Our room was a bit tight for our family of 4 with two teenagers. The friendly, large dog who sometimes barked at guests as they approached in the evening could provide one with a sense of security but could also intimidate those with a fear of large dogs.

We loved our host, the views, outdoor space on the property, and getting away from the bustle. Stairs and walk into town add adventure. The provided breakfast on the porch is one of our favorite memories of meals on our visit to Italy. Rina was very helpful in providing information about the area.

We stayed in the "suite" with the most beautiful terrace but the bathroom was not attached to our room. It was a private bathroom but it was down a flight of stairs from our room close to other public areas. Also the bathroom had 6 ft ceilings and a bathtub only. We were not expecting that. My husband is 6'2 so you can imagine what that was like. We would forgo the private terrace for a better bathroom next time.

Rina and her staff were so kind and welcoming. Every morning we were greeted with home made jams, croissants, freshly squeezed lemonade and coffee. We ate out on the terrace that over looked the sea, the town of Amalfi and lemon trees. Bellissimo! However the view did come with a price. The hike up to Villa Rina is not for the weak or even the strong but the authenticity of the journey up the property was priceless. We had planned on going to hike the path of the gods but with our very on path beautifully created by the one and only God we decided to forgo that, there is no way it would have been any better. We were about a 20 min walk to Amalfi's city center which was where we could eat, catch the ferry, get a taxi, or shop.

During my recent trip to Amalfi, I had the pleasure of staying at this remarkable villa, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a breathtaking view of the Amalfi Coast by the Rina the owner. I picked this place because of it's view, and quiet atmosphere. The villa's location, perched on the cliffs, provided a sense of tranquility and serenity that is truly unparalleled. My two teenage kids didn't mind the 400 steps and loved the Thor (Villa Rina dog). We loved the lemon farms surrounding the place and the dinner was fabulous. Would go back again and again.

I loved the steps. Some people hate them. But it is clear that to get to Rina’s you have to walk. Your bags will be ported by a guys with a trio of donkeys. Spectacular.

The views and living surrounded by lemon groves are worth the 400 steps to get there. Really clean rooms with amazing balconies. Rina is super special. And she is a great cook. Arrange to eat there at least one night during your stay.

The view was spectacular, well worth the climb. There are a lot of steps! Rina’s home cooking was delicious and would highly recommend it. The room is very big and clean but not modern, as it is a typical Italian country house, but the view makes everything worthwhile.

It's a bit of a walk from central Amalfi, but doable if you're in decent shape. It would take us about 15 minutes to walk down and about 20 or so to walk back up. There are a lot of stairs...A LOT...but the views are part of what makes it special. Our room did have a bathroom that was separated from our bedroom, but we had the entire top are of the villa to ourselves so it wasn't a huge deal. The bath/shower is extremely small, but manageable.

Rina is an absolutely amazing host! She was there to personally greet us when we arrived and was available throughout our stay to answer questions, give suggestions, or just be helpful. The breakfast was very good and included fresh tomatoes, cheese, eggs, bread, DELICIOUS HOMEMADE JAMS, coffee, and juice. She offers dinner on her patio for an additional fee ($40 Euros per person) - DO IT AT LEAST ONCE!!! The only thing she does better than host is cook. It was one of our favorite parts and best meals of our entire stay. The room itself was very comfortable and the views were breathtaking! We would 100% recommend and hope to visit again someday.

    Nothing really.

Breakfast was nice, served on the terrace. The view from this villa is fantastic, and Rina is very helpful and friendly, and her cooking is wonderful, don't miss her homecooked dinners, again served outside. The steps are worth it just for the villa's position, and there is an easier route to Amalfi town. This is a special place, quiet and serene, away from the business of the town,we loved it there!

Dinner in-house on the first night was fantastic however it was disappointing on the second night. Was not worth the money

The location provided an amazing view and was well worth upgrading for a sea view The breakfast was lovely and the seating on the verandah provided a breath taking view of the ocean. Was disappointed they did not provide any breakfast at all on our last morning as we checked out at 6am and breakfast was t served until later. A croissant and some fruit would have been appreciated in a take away bag for the onward bus journey.

Everything was phenomenal, the location, the rooms and the food. Rina is a fantastic host, chef and human. The view is truly spectacular. Our four year old son loved it here and we hope to some day return. And the stairs is so worth it but make sure you use the transportation help for your luggage.

It's not a dislike, it's just the way it is on the coast. The walk-up is a beast, pace yourself! You better really need to go down because you must climb back up!

The view is AMAZING! You must know that you do not get amazing views on the Amalfi Coast without STEPS! Villa Rina is no exception. 400 steps up from the street. Thankfully there are porters available, pay the $10/bag and let them carry your bags up! Once up for the day, eat dinner there! It is delicious! Enjoy the view, relax, take it all in!

Rina and her team are amazing, she welcomed us into her home with open arms. You need to have dinner at Rina’s during your stay, we had both nights with Rina cooking and it was better than anything we could of imagined. The steps are a lot but the view and Rina make it all worth it. We went into the town each day (after a delicious breakfast at Rina’s) then would come home for dinner as if we were at home. Thank you Rina, the whole team & of course Thor xx

Villa Rina, an utterly charming and picturesque bed&breakfast, was perfect for our Amalfi stay. Ms. Rina’s rooms are cozy and comfortable with stunning balcony views. AC is very reliable. Her complementary breakfast is good and filling. The optional dinners are delicious and so worth it! Better quality and more affordable than most restaurants in town. The stairs up to the B&B were as described and made easier with the porter service. Highly recommend Villa Rina.

There are a lot of stairs to tackle which are worth it for the views and quiet but require good mobility and sound fitness

The view and the food at Villa Rina are truly unbeatable - we have never eaten so well! Everything comes from the garden or local markets and is so fresh and delicious. Served with the best view on the Amalfi coast! It was the perfect relaxing and romantic setting for my husband and I to holiday. The rooms were spacious and also had an incredible view of the coastline where we could see the fireworks from Atrani. Great air conditioning to get us through the heatwave.
