The property is great, the villa is really authentic and the overall experience is one of a kind. The staff were super nice and helpful - we were going to arrive after the opening hours of the restaurant, they send a message with the menu in advance and we could order dinner to be waiting for us.

It’s nearly impossible to describe how amazing it was. Just unforgettable experience to stay in the place full of history of the region and the family. Carlotta is just wonderful, one of the best hosts we’ve ever met. Definitely will try to come back one day!

Good location near the lovely Bassano del Grappa, beautiful villa, beautiful surrounding grounds with picturesque pool, wonderful gardens, animals and authentic outdoors equipment. Inside the villa big rooms with lots of antique pictures, artwork and furniture. Carlotta and the staff were nice and helpful. They didn't serve dinner the day we were there but they recommended us a very good restaurant near by. We enjoyed the breakfast in the beautiful dining room.

It had a lovely feeling and in large part that was for the magnificent Carlotta who as part of the family line, had great knowledge of the property and its significance of over 400 years in her family. Lovely surrounds, fantastic building and gardens. Great history. Great breakfast. X

Nothing to complain about. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would definitely come back on our next trip to Bassano del Grappa.

Villa Stecchini is a fantastic example of combining the feeling of being in old world Italy with being in a botique hotel. We enjoyed a glass of prosecco at check-in and took in the antique artwork and furniture that are all over the villa (and really make it special). There are horses, dogs, goats, ducks, and even a pig on the property which add to the feeling of being in a country Villa. There is also a restaurant on the property which shows off the massive wine cellar. It was extremely charming and we had a great 4-course dinner there. Carlotta, the proprietor, is amazing. She's extremely warm and welcoming and was helpful in recommending good hikes in the area and just general local knowledge. You can tell she really cares about the guests and the Villa and does everything with care and attention. Bonus: best wifi I had of all the places I stayed in Italy.

Our stay at Villa Stecchini exceeded our expectations. This beautiful villa is located on stunning grounds and run with great love by Carlotta, the most helpful and friendly host we have ever had the pleasure to meet. No request was too much and she really ensured that we had the best possible stay. Our room was very spacious and stylish and had an incredible view of the picturesque pool and garden. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed the homemade dinner served on the terrace overlooking the magnificent grounds. We look back to two unforgettable days in this fantastic idyll with a delightful host and already look forward to returning next year.

The property has peacocks, which are beautiful, but are very loud! Otherwise, our only real complaint is that we didn't get to stay longer than one night! We can't say enough good things about Villa Stecchini and Carlotta!

Carlotta was wonderful, welcoming, and accommodating! She picked us up and dropped us back off at the train station upon arrival and departure, which was a huge blessing. She also gave us a tour of the grounds and the villa when we arrived and made us feel right at home. The restaurant recommended to us was only a 5 minute walk from the villa and so good! The villa and the property were gorgeous and our room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Breakfast provided at the villa was also amazing - we were slightly late for breakfast and Carlotta still served us graciously. We absolutely loved our time and hope to go back one day!

Guest rooms are situated on the second floor. There is no elevator, so it might be inconvenient for those with bulky or/and heavy luggage.

Facinating history of the villa and the oweners' family, lovely host Carlotta, beautiful garden, nice breakfast. The property is trully dog friendly.

The historical villa is very pretty and well conserved, close to the city and a lot of tourist attractions. The owner is very nice, always available to help you out. The breakfast was very good and we also had a good wine from the locanda. The room we stayed in was absolutely stunning, with view over the huge yard, quiet and comfortable.

It was an authentic, friendly, warm ambiente. The villa is full of old art and furniture, we felt like living in a museum! Everyone did everything to make us as happy as possible! We had exquisite wine and best dishes. there was absolutely nothing missing at all. Travelling without a car it’s not so comfortable - there is no public transport from Bassano del Grappa. But the host Carlotta was very helpful to take us and bring back to the town.
