Kitchen was a little difficult to use - more commercial than residential but we got by. Limited utensils even for basic breakfasts but we managed. Sofa bed not as comfortable - so ideally sleeps 6 in three bedrooms. Minor bathroom niggles - shower heads not always stable. Hosts were very helpful and present to handle any remediable issues.

Good communication with the host - Emanuel and his family before and during the stay. Met me on time and very helpful throughout the stay. The view was great and convenient to reach the town up the hill and the beach down below. We had hired a large van for our group of 8 and driving / parking in town was not easy so we walked and took taxis when needed. Host was very helpful with parking. Villa was spacious.

don’t really have a dislike as such, but a couple of areas of improvement we would suggest - a toaster would be helpful, the oven grill took a long time to heat and toast bread; kettle leaked and knives were not sharp enough. Also, whilst there were large double wardrobes, most of the space was taken up with extra bedding and storage for the host. Only 5 coat hangers and no drawers so we were unable to unpack which was annoying for a 6 night stay. There was also a bit of maintenance work being carried out that required access to the garden - would have been nice to have some notice; it woke us a couple of times and restricted us from using the outside space when they were around.

stunning views in a great location overlooking the bay. We stayed in the Garden Apartment with jacuzzi - nice to have the privacy, garden was pretty and the host set up the jacuzzi when we wanted to use it. Inside the apartment was basic, but clean and comfortable with most items you would need for a stay. Worth noting for anyone looking to stay, there are a lot of steps around the property as well as the walk up to the centre of Taormina (we counted 280 steep steps!) - so might not be appropriate for those with restricted mobility.

The view across the bay below is absolutely stunning . Nice areas throughout the grounds to either sit in the sun or seek some shade . Apartments are a good size and a very comfortable bed .

It could have been cleaner as well as the pool. The lower garden suit where we stayed seems to be the last for an update but the rest of the property is very nice. Has amazing potential.

Location and view was good. The host was awesome getting us checked in, sending us suggestions and allowing us a later check in. Comfortable bed. Good location about a 15 minute walk uphill to the city centro and very close to the tram to the beach, in fact it goes right by the property.

There was an issue with the Booking listing that stated the room came with a jacuzzi, when in reality it was a cold plunge pool. Host was responsive to issue, but nothing could be done to remedy this.

The hosts were very responsive and helpful. They provided great suggestions in town.

Apartment wasn’t private and a walkthrough for other guests. Shower very unpredictable. Hot tub doesn’t / wasn’t working, which was a shame as it was a booking point for us. Got told it was broken and couldn’t be fixed until Monday (we went home Monday)

The sofa was awful and impossible to sleep on, also in the information there was private jacuzzi but in fact it turn out that was a mistake, all other apartments has one but our doesn’t. We spoke with the owner and he couldn’t get us another room, he offered a voucher but we have to remind him several times and wait long for it. At the end we have it and everything is settled but we didn’t had great experience.

The view and the location is perfect, also good kitchen amenities. The staff was polite and gave us good information about the region.

Our host was amazing, helped with our bags, gave us some local advice and was on call the whole time of our stay. The property had lovely views, everything worked and our hosts were very generous with coffee pods and water. Short walk to the town, which is the most beautiful in Sicily - excellent choice and a great example of how great hosts can really enhance a visit.

The main ensuite needed tiling. But the other Shower room was perfect maybe they had just not managed it before new season beginning.
