Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe breakfast was the same every day with not much choice. There were around 7 different cakes and dessert type foods and hardly anything savoury. It got very boring towards the end of the week. Some things came at an extra cost such as loungers at the beach. A lot of the amenities were closed and no longer in use. The shop, restaurant and coffee bar are closed from 12-4.30 so the only place to get food and drink is at the pool. The shuttle bus gets expensive for a family of 4 at €2 per person each way. We did walk to Sorrento a few times but had to walk along a busy road which was scary.
The pool is lovely, it is deep though at one end so it doesn’t seem to warm up and remains very cold. The lodge was nice and had a great bathroom. It was quiet and peaceful. We loved the private beach and outdoor gym area which is on the way there. Beautiful views from the restaurant

BrazilThe beach and the pool close too early. After the tours there was no time to visit them. Locker is paid, but I think it's not a problem. Wifi is paid but I think it's also fine.
Amazing view from the balcony Really good breakfast A bit far from the city but the shuttle bus solves this problem. Many of activities in the surrounding Shower was really good 👍 Boat tours that pick you up from the camping to visit Capri/Amalfi, we recommend them

United KingdomKitchen serviceable but pretty basic (no chopping board, sharp knives, grater).
Lovely campsite in the olive groves perched on the hill above Sorrento, beautiful peaceful surroundings. We appreciated the shuttle bus back from town. The pizzas in the restaurant were delicious and good value. Excellent powerful shower!

United KingdomThe bed was terrible. Definitely needs replacing, very noisy springs that awake you during the night and not particularly comfortable. We did not get any towels despite the booking.com advert saying these were included. Fortuntately we had brought beach towels. The cooking facility is very basic, 2 gas rings only. Probably adequate for a couple but definitely not a family. Very limited space, you would need a car to store your suitcases as the main bedroom is too small. The bunk bedroom is tiny, like 2 shelves, so we used it for storage so that was handy. The morning and evening regular bus service has just one stop, near the train station only, so cannot be used for the harbour ferries. Taxi ride costs 30 euros.
Lovely setting but the walk was very steep as we were at the very top of the village. Limited sea views but the surroundings were beautiful and very peaceful. Spot the lizards in the monring! On arrival and departure we were offered a fun and bumpy ride on the golf buggy, ourselves and our suitcases. Staff were very helpful. The shuttle bus is very handy and costs 2 euros a trip. The shop is well stocked with deli food. If you plan on self catering, you need to stock up on food as the walk to the shop is 15 minutes, and a steep climb with loads of steps (unless you have a car).

United KingdomThe bungalow needed a small table - even a folding one - nowhere to put a cup or glass down. Large wooden table in wicker covered area - ideal for day use - but down 2 sets of steps and over a tree root to reach -so awkward for carrying plates etc. for 80 year olds like ourselves. Asked for a small table for balcony area but was told by an extremely unhelpful lady at reception that there were none - even though there were unused small tables piled up less than 150yds away from bungalow. Quite an incredible unhelpful attitude - thankfully an exception
Superior Bungalow with sea view. Nice spot. Excellent shower and spotlessly clean room. Restaurant very clean, well run and not overpriced, Excellent Swimming pool. Ground staff, staff in restaurant and shop excellent, efficient and friendly ( with one exception)

The place has its own private water access and unbeatable views. Probably one of the best camp grounds I have ever seen.

United Kingdomno kettle so we had to boil water in a pan to make a coffee in the morning.
Lovely little campsite with a small pool and mini market. We could cook meals and eat outside on our little terrace over looking the coast. There is a handy shuttle bus for €2 into Sorrento town.

United KingdomWhile it was very picturesque, it's quite far out, so it's a bit of a faff to get to. They do provide their own shuttle bus, but that can get expensive. It costs €1.50 per person each way, so a trip anywhere is going to cost €6 for a couple. The site itself is quite large and very hilly. Some cabins are close to the entrance, but some are much further. Our cabin (Pino) was quite a far walk, and there were some steep steps and long climbs. Finally, the mosquitos and midges are rife, even late on in the year. I was bitten to within an inch of my life so take lots of cream and repellent.
It was very different. It's a bit like glamping, so a fun experience. The shuttle bus was really helpful to get to and from town but could get expensive as it is is €1.50 per person each way. Beautiful scenery, and they did have their own beach and pool, but we didn't have time to experience these amenities. When we were shown to our cabin, they took us via golf cart as it was a fair way to walk with our luggage, which was nice. They also picked us back up before check-out. One of the staff members showing us around notoced that our outside light wasn't working and got it fixed straight away without us even having to ask. Staff were helpful with the buses and other advice and the price was really good.

New ZealandWhen we used the private beach, nothing was set up, no seats or bathrooms, and it's a bit awkward to swim. This needs some tlc. Also, don't charge people to use wifi, as it doesn't work half the time in your room, it should be free.
I liked the vibe and atmosphere of the campground, including the pool, and the shop was super convenient.

United StatesMuch smaller than what the pictures showed. No hand soap, no dish soap. Staff said if you go on line or use the QR code it will tell you they don’t provide soap. Couldn’t go on line since there was no internet. We received help with bags and got a ride to our bungalow. No help leaving. My husband needs a cane to walk so this was tough.
Had a nice area to sit outside. Restaurant was very good for dinner.
