Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomYou have to pay for wi-fi and it only works near the office and bar and restaurant. The 4G signal is very weak in most parts of the campsite so if you need internet this is not a good place for you. However if you are happy to get away from it all then this is perfect
Clean and quiet. Cabins are spacious and well equipped. Fantastic location on the cliff top over looking the bay of Naples.

United KingdomThe website needs updating: it suggested that a lot of the facilities weren't available during Covid but that's changed and the website hasn't.
The staff and location make this propperty! Friendly, welcoming and go the extra mile to ensure a smooth visit, eg I had questions about WiFi, the best way into town and to the wedding venue nearby. They are available 24/7 so a very early checkout was no problem. The setting is idyllic. The Tiny House was dated and indeed tiny but perfectly adequate for our needs and very clean. Very close to the sea and so peaceful, I loved the natural setting with trees all around. Parking was easy: right outside our accommodation. There's an ATM and mini market on site as well as bar, restaurant and pool. We only had a short stay so didn't get time to try these facilities but the pool certainly looked tempting. The only downside was the drab army-looking blankets but they were warm and clean.

United KingdomWould be good if the shop was open slightly longer hours but generally great. The site is quite big so was a full five minute walk from our hut to the entrance - not an issue but to bear in mind.
Our little hut was delightful and had incredible views from the balcony. Hourly shuttle to town is very helpful.

United KingdomFree WiFi. They should just up the prices by a euro or two and make it 'free'.

AustraliaThe cabin did not match the pictures. The pictures show a bunk room and a double room. we just had 1 double room and a fold down double. When I asked at reception about the bunks and the double they said you get a fold down double or a bunk bed but you don’t get to choose which one. This meant my kids had to share a bed and ended up fighting about blankets/sheets etc in the middle of the night every night. The cabin itself was nice enough but just not I was expecting from the photo representation so it was quite disappointing especially since most of the cabins including the ones with the best views were empty during our stay… so I’m sure a bunk/double cabin would have been available.
Lovely pool and comfy beds.

United StatesBungalows are very small. Queen bed had plastic mattress cover that made a loud noise with the slightest turn when sleeping. Beach is mostly in shade (but there is nice pool), and the lounge chairs are 20 Euro per half day??!! Quickmart has very limited supply and is very expensive. Had to go to town for groceries.
Great transportation to town. Friendly and helpful staff. Electric outlets and lamp close to bed.

NorwayVery strange that the only place in all the travel we did , was that we had to wear mask at the shuttle bus. And also very negative feedback from the staff/reseption to my daughter that forgot to wear it at on time! Also we did not like the swim cap at the pool. This is not normal anywhere we have been. There should be quiet at the camping at 11 in the evening. Also it would ve better to pay by card at the reseption.
Very smiling and very frendly staff at the breakfast/resturant and at the pool and at the beach. Clean and good standard cabin. Very good organised the chuttle bus.

NetherlandsThe bus to the centre of Sorrento is a bit small for the size of the camping (appr. 16 person fit inside), but a nice service from Santa Fortunata. The mattress in our Bungalow was too hard for us... We received clean bed sheets and towels, but we had to change it by ourselves (no problem, but the dirty ones were not picked up during the rest of our stay).
We had an excellent view on the sea and Naples. Our bungalow was clean and we had enough space to sit, as well inside as outside. Swimming pool was also very nice, with enough place to enjoy the sun.

United KingdomThe place has very poor signal and I believe that charging for Wi-Fi is a very poor attitude, 10€ for 5GB is more than what I pay monthly on my mobile plan for unlimited data. The beach and swimming pool areas have opening and closing times which is understandable but could be open for a bit longer especially in the summer.
The village has very good facilities and the little house is a great place even if it’s for a long stay.

GermanyOne of the drivers was very disrespectful to me and my family. We use the shuttle service to go to the town and then planned to return to the hotel using the same service. However, the driver didn’t let us return to the hotel because we had the wrong type of face masks!! Even when he took us to the town wearing the average face masks. We understand that it was mandatory to use a FPP2 mask but the driver didn’t say anything about it when we go to the town. Anyway, he left us in the town almost at midnight and we needed to wait for a bus almost for an hour. Bad experience!!
The concept is good, they have several facilities for the ones staying at the “village” or at the camping sites. It has a big swimming pool and access to the sea.
