I was my error not to see in description that the restaurant was closed for season. Disappointing, not to mention the VERY expensive taxi ride from airport ($35USD) even though the runway on map is across street. The huge complex was vacant and a storm had just passed leaving plenty of tree and beach debris adding to the isolation.

Gunnar(sp) from SirLanka(?) whom I believe was the resort keeper was kind and generous under the circumstances.

It is a bit away from the city center and the public transport is not much reliable, so one has to wait considerable time to get a bus. Further, other travel options like scooter or car rental are not available nearby. Lastly, the washroom cleanliness is 7 out of 10.

The location of the property is near to the airport and the beach. The place is spacious and has a decent place for walk.

One of the challenges I encountered was transportation. As the property is located in a secluded area, it can be difficult to reach without private transportation. However, I made arrangements by booking a taxi, which provided a convenient and hassle-free solution. Upon arrival, I noticed that the rooms were not as luxurious as one might expect for their respective prices. The paintings and walls in the rooms did exhibit signs of age, which may not be to everyone's taste. However, I personally found this added character to the overall ambiance of the place.

The staff provided excellent hospitality and went above and beyond to accommodate the needs of my infant daughter. They even provided a cot and bed specifically for her, which was greatly appreciated. The location of the resort is another highlight. With a private beach nearby, we were able to enjoy the beauty of the coast and relax in a tranquil setting. The calm atmosphere of the resort contributed to a peaceful and rejuvenating stay.

Airport is very near, but hard to reach. There are planes flying over during the day, but is mostly quiet during the night. Breakfast is mediocre, but coffee is great.... this is Italy after all.

Noisy, right under flight path, we read it as,1 mile away ( it turned out as the crow flies) realistically 3 miles away or €25 ,but not the easy walk we planned

The hotel is next to the landing airplanes. There is a terrible noise in the room between 5:00 AM to 1:00 AM.

We traveled to Sicily the first part of May, which is not tourist season. So, the restaurant didn't open until 7:00-7:30 pm and we had to get up early so it was kinda late for us to eat. We found the Afrobar and it was open until 6:00 pm, but they didn't have many options of food available, because again not the height of tourist season.

We read the reviews and found the negative comments to be way off the mark. The parking is not "sketchy". It's behind a closed gate. The area is not "shady", it was very comfortable. The noise from the airport...well, if you need to be close to the airport, you're gonna hear planes!!! Duh! Yes it is directly under the flight path. Yes it is noisy. So bring a sound machine or put on an app on your phone to drown it out. It is also steps from the sandy beach. We almost booked a different hotel because of these comments and I'm so glad that we didn't and stayed here instead. That being said, The staff was super friendly and helpful. There were two gentleman at the entrance that helped us find the right place to check in and park. They had a great sense of humor that made our day. The hotel staff was so very nice and accommodating. Spoke great English. He was from Sri Lanka and his name was Guna,Guva...Can't remember, but he was excellent and so friendly and helpful. He made a comment that after our stay we will have wished we stayed there for our vacation. He wasn't far off! The area was perfect! 7 Minutes to the Airport, which is why we needed to stay there. Our travel company had our stay in Taormina, but our flight out of Catania was at 6 am. We would have had to leave Taormina by 2:00-2:30 am to get to Catania to catch our flight. Not nice at all! So we decided to book this room.

Upon our arrival they gave us the wrong password for wifi. The breakfast should have been better, we had to buy our own. There was no kettle in the room, so if we wanted a warm drink in the evening we asked reception and they will bring it from the restaurant. (If the staff is available.) The shower was blocked.

The beds were okay, we had a sofa, fridge, a table with two chairs just outside the door and inside also. A lot of trees around and cats, a beach, nice in the evening to go for a walk. If you enjoy the quiet, I suggest to go in winter since it's not busy but in summer it's noisy.

At the end of the airport runway, planes take off every 2 minutes from 6am-midnight… unless you have worked at the airport and on the tarmac, you never heard aircraft this loud before… the most unfriendly people at the front desk. A dump of a place. A DUMP

Since there are two clubs and an event venue nearby it can get a bit noisy at night. For us it did not do any difference bit if you are seeking a quite night, it could be a problem in weekends.

Near airport and city of Catania. Located on the beach. 20 mins drive from 2 major shopping center. The are a few restaurants and clubs around.

Acrobat music went from 12midnight to past 4am when we checked out. You MUST have earplugs or you will NOT sleep. Also, the room was not cleaned, the floor was not swept AT ALL and there was dust everywhere to the point my friend had an allergic reaction and had to take allergy medication. Parking is also a pain because it is shared by the restaurant and Afrobar so depending on when you come you will have to search a bit.

It was located in less that 10 minutes to the Bellini International Airport and was right on the shore of Catania!

The rooms were poor. The sound of the discotheek and the planes keepster you awake all night. The breakfast was bad.

The first room they tried to put us in was not beachfront and smelled like sewage. we went to the front desk and told them we thought we were getting a beachfront as advertised. They made us pay an extra 150 Euro to get upgraded to one of the beachfront cabins. The room itself is rundown and needs repair. the ceiling and walls are cracked and crumbling. The washroom smells like sewage. The shower stall needs repairs. they are very stingy with toilet paper and request used toilet paper to be placed in garbage bin due to plumbing issues which I could never do that. The worst part was on Saturday there was blaring loud music that played from 10pm to 6:15am, even earplugs could not drown out how loud it was because of the heavy base. I looked out the window and saw thousands of teenagers walking to and from the disco-tech where the music was coming from.

There is a private party venue right next door and we couldn’t sleep till 3am with the loud ‘Duff’ music. It felt like it was just outside our door. The next night there was a salsa private party. I was extremely disappointed we were not given any warning by the venue, as we desperately needed to sleep.

I got a smoking room, so everything smelled cigarettes. No alternative proposed, even if this was low season. The toilet flush was a bit old and did not clean efficiently. Careful when getting there by a taxi from the airport (43 euros mid day, short drive by official taxi)

Location, outside if the crowds, good espresso, parking inside the fences, stuff friendly. Lidl market within walking range. Great beach and view towards Aetna, also good for aviation spotters - located at the end if a runway. I did not mind the noise of starting planes.
