Nothing - it’s exceptional!

The views, bar and the service were exceptional! I was a solo traveller and the staff especially at the bar were so accommodating, generous and made me feel so welcome! The pool area is so chilled and the room was comfortable and worth every penny!

We did have to report soaking wet garden cushions, some lights on terrace not working and also curtains were very difficult to operate.

Everything. Staff so helpful from time I sent them additional questions after initial booking to being very helpful overall. Everyone was discreetly attentive. Perfect position, fantastic views, secluded but so close to town. A gem for a quiet break. Mine was celebrating my partners special birthday!

The decor of this hotel is a bit outdated and could use an update, especially for the price you're paying. Also, charging for parking (10 euro per day) is a bit outdated in my opinion. I think the breakfast "buffé"/menu can be improved as well since it's heavily focused on bread and doesn't offer many healthy choices.

The view is breathtaking and it was such a treat to enjoy the sunset from our balcony. Overall, the location of this hotel is great as you are only a few minutes away from the centre of Sestri Levante. Service was good!

Very clean room and the staff is super friendly and kind. The location is great with a fantastic view on the ocean, the beach of scilence and the town. Also the pool area is very nice. We definitely recommend the place for couples to enjoy some days in the Italian Riviera.

Tiny room, next to kitchen so noise from 7:30 until late at night. Smelt of chlorine from pool. Hotel felt a bit tired and old fashioned.

Service with staff left to desire.. welcomed by a valet on my arrival but no valet when I left. Had to manœuvre my car with difficulty as the parking space was very narrow. Décor a bit too old fashioned. The whole dining room and bedrooms should be refurbished fir an hotel of that standard .

The exceptional view

I paid via booking.com to secure an upgrade to a room with sea views . At check in I was told I had received another ‘upgrade’ to a room which didn’t have a Seaview but was larger in size . I was too tired to discuss so accepted their recommendation I would be getting a better outcome . Little did I know my upgraded upgrade room was directly under the kitchen /restaurant and there was no soundproofing meaning I could hear furniture being moved / people speaking (there were internal air vents near the bed) from around 7am til 11pm each night. On the second night I was offered a move which was kind but it was already late in the evening and I was checking out the next morning. Rainy weather meant I was spending more time in the room than I would normally.

This hotel’s best assets are its friendly staff , especially those at the roof top, it’s location and views from rooftop bar and dining room. Check in staff were helpful in explaining info about cinque Terre.

Despite their young age, the staff did not manage to clean the restaurant during breakfast. They made a poor impression in their rumpled shirts and sloppy clothes a pity . Unfortunately the staff was more busy talking to each other than cleaning the table .Pity, Small room a bit claustrofibic

Hotel is too old, uncomfortable bed and does NOT OFFER THE VALUE OF MONEY. not worth it.

We stayed there for 3 nights, it says its a 4 star hotel, but did not feel like it, the only nice thing about this hotel, the breakfast area, it has an amazing view, if your staying there because of the view, there is a terrace that you can have a drink there and have the same view. Room is too small and the bed is basically made out of two single beds! Not comfortable at all!

The breakfast was a bit too average. You had to pay for hot meals, not included int he price. The staff was a cold and not welcoming.

The room A1 has been nicely refurbished, the problem with this room is that the drain of the toilets on higher floors is located in the wall of this room. Every time it gets flushed it is as if a waterfall flows though the room. At night this wakes you up.
