Cosy and warm attic room perfect for staying and visiting the sassi of Matera. Nothing special, but well maintaned and equipped with everything you need. Perfect balcony to enjoy the sunset over the old town. Free parking nearby, just ask the friendly staff on arrival.

No reserved parking but was able to get street parking close by.

Great location. Short walk to all sites, a grocery store, and restaurants. Elia was very helpful and kind. He gave us a good suggestion for walking around and went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Beautiful view and very comfortable. Coffee maker in shared areas for mornings. Shower is very nice. A little confusing with all the settings but good pressure and heat.

Excellent hosts who communicated well with us - we had to change our plans due to car breakdown and could not arrive for our original booking, but were able to book a similar room a few days later. The room was spacious and well laid out with everything we needed for a comfortable one night stay. Good wifi, great shower and bathroom. Being a Sunday, free on-street parking was easy to find. The view from the balcony of the Sassi di Matera was awesome, and it was a 5 minute maximum walk to get into the heart of the old town along with many restaurant choices. Our host was very helpful with suggestions about what to see, and where to eat.

Easy 5 minute walk to the historic centre. Great communication with host and good advice for easy parking. Loved our view from the balcony and a comfy bed too. Best shower in our 4 week trip. Would happily have stayed longer than one night.

We had booked 2 rooms (for 4 people). The attic room was huge but apart from the terrace there was nowhere you could sit and see outside. The other room only had a window that looked out at a wall.

The breakfast in a nearby cafe was very good. The attic room was large and had a nice small terrace. It was well equipped. The host was welcoming, informative and helpful. Everywhere was very clean.

Extremely friendly and helpful hosts, gave us lots of useful information, maps and brochures about Matera. The room was clean and cozy, free water and coffee which was really nice of them. The location and view from the room balcony were great. Would definitely stay there again!

We didnt have breakfast here as the room for breakfast did not look very clean, nor did the entrance.

This place on first arrival did not give a good impression, but the room was fine and the position good.

Kitchen was nice however a few more essentials such as wine glasses, espresso machine wasn’t working properly(he was getting it serviced), ice cube trays. Paper towels. Small things only.

Good location as it was just a short walk to historic centre. spectacular view!. Apartment was very spacious. Good breakfast. Free parking just down the road. Easy to find. Host was great with helping and bringing us what we needed. Very friendly!

The view is nice, but nothing comparable to what you actually get while in the Sassi neighboorhood itself. So the name might create a bit of false expectation. We had to pay extra for the parking, because the public one was full.

Just a 3 min walk from the historical city center! Complimentary water and coffee was nice to have. Elia gave us good touristic tips .

The host was very kind. He showed us where to park the car for free, recommended us a great restaurant, and welcomed us with coffee. The room has a great view of Sasi. There is coffee, tea, and water in the room. Recommend

Our room was a little small, it was a little difficult to go through our baggage. There is also no lift. We were fine with it but it should be noted that there are 3-4 steps outside to get to the door & then another set of stairs once you are inside the door. You should be aware of this.

The room was located very close to I Sassi. It was about a 5 minute walk to the Historic part of town that was beautiful. The staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Parking was simple to find & free. Sandra helped us park our car & we left it there for our whole stay. The breakfast was very good as well. You have it at a Bar just down the street. I would suggest you know what you want before approaching as they are very busy & a little limited with their patience. We also had a very nice view from our balcony.
