How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

All was good
The rooms were exceptionally clean! Shower was lovely and hot/ strong, bed was comfy and pleased with the choice of pillow firmness. Air con was needed and breakfasts were ok. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Close to metro. Beef saloon restaurant near by amazing!

There was one plug that fitted my devices despite I was ready with the EU connector.
Very clean, simple and cosy room. I loved it. Clean bathroom. Comfy bed. Good storage spaces. Close to the Metro station(7 minutes walk).

The stuff was absolutely amazing. They were all so friendly and they were very helpful with a lot of things. I thank them a lot for making our trip beautiful. The facilities are beautiful clean and the food is pretty good! Thanks a lot for the nice vacation vomero hotel!

The hotel is newly redone, everything is spotless clean, the room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is generous and delicious. It was all very convenient and comfortable.

Everything was great.
The breakfast was amazing and the staff were very kind and accomodating. The metro/subway is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel and the subway in Naples is very easy to take. Whenever we needed anything the staff would always assist us. The hotel location is a bit far from the city centre but it is very accessible to travel there from the hotel. The hotel was very clean and we will definitely stay here again if we are in Naples. Overall excellent value for money.

There was nothing that we didn't like
The staff was very friendly and super helpful. Amazing breakfast with local delicacies. The room was very clean and comfortable. Very convenient location, close to a metro station. Would come back for sure.

Staff was very nice at arrival and also while leaving at early morning (4 am). Rooms are big and comfy. Closed parking is very convenient and safe. Some good places to eat nearby ;-) Worth the value Nothing to say about the breakfast, we left too early Metro station quite close

Not an ideal location for exploring central Naples. But that didn’t bother us as we were directly heading on to Sorrento.
As we were arriving late into Naples airport (after 23:00) this was exactly what we needed. The hotel provides 24hr check in, which was prompt and efficient on arrival. Very comfortable beds. Great that breakfast was included. Very helpful at check out to call us a taxi.

A really nice place if you want to be close to the center of Napoli without the noise. Also, the metro is not so far from the hotel and the staff is really nice. Definitely a nice, comfortable and cosy hotel.

There was nothing we disliked.
The location was safe with a nearby Metro station providing easy access to the centre of town. The staff were efficient and friendly. The breakfast was substantial.

Just the bit about the breakfast which is that it was pretty basic. And at around 9am one morning, they had already run out of eggs and tray was not refilled.
Hotel is fairly new so room was nice and no problem encountered. Location is a little outside the city centre but metro station is just a 5min walk away.

It's a bit further out than I anticipated but was close to the metro so wasn't a big deal.
The hotel looked brand new. The room was really nice, very clean and nice big bathroom. Beds were comfy too. Breakfast was great and the whole hotel had a friendly feel to it. Very modern.

It's quite far from the city centre. We liked the neighbourhood and felt very safe there, also at night, but since we were traveling quite a lot outside of Napoli it was pretty tiring to spend over an hour a day in metro.
We had a great stay. Everyone was incredibly nice and helpful. Room was very clean and looked just like on the pictures and breakfasts were tasty.
