Everything related to this Hotel was exceptional. Staff is super friendly and communicative. Parking isn't in front but it's really close by and free which is a great plus. The hotel is really historical place operating since the 1600s and just by walking in you get that feeling. Location is great since it's close by to Lago di Braies and a lot of other hiking tours in Dolomites.

We liked the retro-look of the hotel, but could have been rennovated. Mini fridge could be useful in the room.

The staff was super friendly, always smiling and incredibly helpful. The room was big and clean, the same for the bathroom. For breakfast there was a good selection of sweet and savoury, and dinners were really good (traditional dishes, but with a twist). The location was really handy to visit the Braies lake and the Tre Cime.

Amazing service - we got a free ticket for public transportation (Südtirol pass), maps and some guidebook upon arrival, the staff was very positive and helpful. Great location for trips to many wonderfull places (we visited Tre Cime, Lago di Braeis, Lago del Sorapíss, Strudelkopf). Definitely get the half-board option! The breakfast was simple and good, but the dinner was amazing! Three courses every day and each day there was a different theme (including the table decoration) - Tirol, Mediterranean, Candelight (had even more courses), etc.

old fashioned estate with old furniture, but very clean and well maintained. staff are very nice and ar rhe disposal all the time. small welness in roman style is one of the charmest welnesses I have ever seen.

On the homepage they write of a SPA, but there was nothing, was also not mentioned at the check in. Staff was friendly but very short information about where the breakfast room is or what services they have. For the money I would have expected more. Only one and small Coffee machine at the breakfast, which was of course always in use and a lot of the time stuffed

Big, nice, old facion room; Toilet and shower in different rooms. Good location with in walking distance to shuttle buses (to Auronzo or Lago di Braies).

The hotel itself is directly to a main road. Despite the fact that it is not a busy road, there is always traffic. For us it was not a problem but be aware of this. Also, the beds itself are very hard for our likes but that is of course very person specific.

The hotel is perfectly located if you like to go hiking and/or biking. There are multiple routes that you can go and the railway station is around the corner so you can get everywhere in a fast way. Upon arrival you get a public transport card which allows you to go by train or bus for free (with some exceptions -- for instance the bus to Lago di Braies). We went for the half pension option. Every morning we could choose between two different starters and three main dishes. The portions are not too big but good enough for sure. The personel is really kind and are there to help you when needed. All in all it was a perfect hotel where we might go again for sure.

Housekeeping had missed our room but this was quickly rectified and the housekeeper did a great job Only part of the sauna was in operation - but with electricity prices being so high this seemed a sensible saving

The bed was a little harder than for comfort, and we prefer a harder than softer bed. The shower had a drainage issue and you would be standing in ankle high water after a few minutes of running the water. After four days from the slow drainage of standing water a brown water scum line started to form. Other than that, it was a great stay.

Breakfast was good, prosciutto, salami and ham each morning. Fresh bread, juices and an assortment of teas, yogurts. The staff is amazingly friendly, check in was smooth and informative. We unfortunately didn’t get to use the sauna area due to the hours of operation.
