even though the windows are tinted you can see straight through them especially in the bathroom. they can see you while you take a shower!!!

The staff at the front desk is the most horrible I’Ve seen in years. It took me some time for somebody talk to me, when they did they told me Booking should have given my room number, so unless they send it to me, I couldnt check in. Bizarre situation.

If you end up staying in Columbus Heights (not the main resort), the apartment is located half way up a steep hill, perfect if you have a vehicle (there is plenty of parking available) but otherwise be prepared for a good 10 minute uphill walk from the main road.

We booked last minute and although the booking was accepted, it turned out that there was not space in the main resort. Ms Dyer kindly arranged for us to stay in an apartment at Columbus Heights at no additional cost, but with full access to the main resort. The apartment was well equipped and clean, including a balcony with an amazing view overlooking Ocho Ríos town. The shower had great water pressure and hot water (not always a given in Jamaican hotels). Ms Dyer was very responsive and helpful with any inquiries we had. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

My only issue turned out to be a positive, the one night stay at Sky castle so I can say it wasn't a issue for long

We loved the location and the water dispenser a very good idea. We had the pleasure of staying in her other apartment at Sky castle for 1 night due to unforeseen circumstances. it was a very lovely apartment and the resort is beautiful I have stayed there before on numerous occasions. We had a lovely say in both locations and would stay again.

The property was beautiful and the apartment was nicely laid out and clean. There is enough room for 4 people to stay and they even have a water cooler in the room. The house keeper was very pleasant and professional and she made the check-in process so easy. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. The beach has lovely beach beds too for relaxing.

the property is apartment building individually owned. this room by this owner is a scam. She didn’t even know I booked her room and basically stop responding to me and the front desk. I was stranded in a whole nother country with no where to go. finally she responded very rude and never apologized. After she found us another room 5hrs later). she made me pay cash deposit or I couldn’t get my key. I told front desk a day before my departure I was leaving at 5am and they told me once they check the room they would give me my cash deposit at checkout. when checkout came the front desk couldn’t find my deposit and said she came to the hotel and took the deposit. it’s her room so she can do that. the hotel tried to call but no answer. unfortunately we had to leave without our deposit and catch our flight. she is now saying she can only give me my deposit back by check.

Checking in was difficult and inconvenient. We initially booked with Booking.com around noon on Sunday, June 5, 2022. We received a confirmation and proceeded to the facility from another facility that had issues. When we arrived at Sandcastle the receptionist informed us that we would need to wait for an agent to bring the keys or send the booking information including where to get the key. We waited and waited and that never happened. We finally purchased a room outright. The agent did not get to the property until 6 hours after our arrival- due to internet issues. The other issue is the lack of WiFi on the property itself. Although we were able to get WiFi in our apartment, once we left out there was no WiFi; that was a quite inconvenient. Other than that, this is facility deserves an A+!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location was perfect, the room was spacious, clean, and quiet. The view from the room was outstanding! Our receptionist was kind and patient. Every employee that we encountered was friendly and welcoming. Access to shops and taxis was really convenient.
