Absolutely no control of the owner outside of installing a huge system to store water, but Negril shuts the water off at night occasionally because of infrastructure issues and that sucked to not have water in the middle of the nights when needed but hey, it’s Jamaica, I’d take it over the USA any day anyhow

The staff was absolutely amazing and accommodating. Even though I booked a lower fare room the owner upgraded me to the nicest room in the place and said you need the ocean out your window in the morning. I actually contacted them directly and have stayed there again on another trip to Jamaica I took a few weeks after this stay. Dominique, thank you for being such a great host, I will be back soon. Marcia, I hope you are well and I appreciate all your attention to anything I wanted while I was there.

The beach in front of the hotel was not cleaned from the seaweed after rough sea or storm, it smells bad after some time !

This hotel is right on the beach, it needs a bit of renovation but it has all you need for your holiday. There are plenty of places nearby where you can eat on the beach. The owner is a very nice lady that makes you feel very comfortable and welcome. They only accept cash as payment, no credit cards accepted

covid has been hard on the place. In need of a little maintenace, however they are getting there bit by bit! Constantly doing work. I understand the restaurant will be re opening up again soon. Wifi is pretty much non existant.

Dominique, the manager is absolutely awesome. She was so helpful and freindly. The place is ideally located with many restaurants, bars, shopping etc etc very close by. A walk down the beach was a great time. Margaritaville is right next door, likewise the Exotic exercise place with Denise. Very nice hotel, we had a great time hanging out on the porch in front of the rooms with friends.

She is getting reopened so not all amenities ready to use yet, like the pool, but we had a great stay even still.

Dominique is a wonderful hostess. We had great time relaxing and chatting with her. Our bed had flower petals and a welcome spelled out on it. Very Cosby room And comfy bed. Love the hammock chairs at the entrance to the beach. Great area to sit with friends and enjoy a drink together.

It is obvious all of Negril is struggling from pandemic as things have changed a lot from previous trips to 7 mile beach. For these reasons the beautiful outside veranda and pool area are not being utilized at current time and there is no onsite food. There are a number of options within walking distance. The best thing we can all do is return our tourism dollars to Negril.

Beautiful location, beach well maintained, an abundance of lovely flowers throughout the complex. This is a family owned property and Dominique is a wonderful soul. There is limited staff in the post pandemic era so you can get to know them. We received a home cooked complimentary meal to our outside seating area one eve from one of the housekeepers. Quiet, close walk to Hi-Lo grocery store for supplies. if you want to kick back, be left alone and enjoy the beach and weather it’s great place to hang.

The beachcomber herself, Dominique provided us with a wonderful last 12 hours in Jamaica. Dominique took us in as a last minute booking and went above and beyond to take care of us, including driving us to the bank, Covid testing site, and even the Mobay airport when we could not get transportation because of a holiday. The beachcomber, built from the ground up and run by Dominique, is a lovely beachfront escape offering beautiful rooms and a nice vibe and is next door to Margaritaville for a good time. Covid took it’s toll on this blue, beachfront, beauty and needs the support of tourists to recover from the pandemic. Bring your family and friends for a safe experience, and I ensure you that Dominique and her staff will take very good care of you (and might even include a seashell combed straight from the beach).

The place was reopening after being closed due to COVID so there were a few things left to be desired - carpenter ants was the top of my list BUT, the staff immediately rectified the matter for which we were grateful.

Overall a great experience. We had a two bedroom villa. The first one had some complications but within the half hour, the staff met our needs and had us moved to another location which was much improved. Staff were very pleasant, polite, helpful, kind and friendly. Met all our needs.

The hotel is right on the beach and you can stroll in the sand for hours, There are restaurants all over. Accross the street on the other side there is a department store, The owner of the Hotel is Dominique, Canadian and very helpful though we know all good restaurants in the area. Check-in was a major surprise with an all cash demand, which seems to be only payment method but was never stated on the Booking site. Took me 10 minutes to locate Ms D to get checked in. Room was full of mosquitoes. No security on grounds. Television is advertised but no cable service. Significant water pressure issues and none if you try to bathe after midnight. No bars or restaurants on grounds. Place seems to be in the middle of a renovation. Towels seem very worn and discolored. I visit Negril at least twice per year and this was my worst experience for the price

There was nothing, that we did not like. We loved everything about Beachcomber Club Resort. Nothing negative to report. We were very happy about our stay. Have a wonderful and blessed evening.

I loved the look of Beachcomer Club Resort. The owner and operator Ms. Dominique, was welcoming, kind, helpful and accommodating to what ever our needs were. The Resort was well kept and clean; the view was breathtaking and beautiful and if we needed to eat either breakfast, lunch or dinner It was just steps away and the prices were very fare. The atmosphere at Beachcomers Club Resort was tranquil and peaceful. We loved our stay there very much and we would recommend our family and friends to go there. They would not be disappointed. We would like to thank you so very much Dominique for your kindness; we really enjoyed our stay, as you know how much this meant to my fiance, being, that a few days previously, he had laid his mother to rest, and to make it worse, it was just a few days after his birthday; when my fiance left he felt refreshed and energized; we have you to thank for that; You are more than a friend to us; you are family.

No Wifi except at the reception desk. -Even though it says in the fine print that wifi is available in public areas, that is very misleading. For the amount of money we spent, Beachcomber HAS to put up wifi in the rooms for them to continue to get recommendations. No TV -There was a TV in the room, but it did not turn on. No Service - I don’t know if something is wrong, but we couldn’t even use our data to communicate with our loved ones, because the wifi was non-existent and the service was bad on the resort. Cleanliness -We had an incident that Dominique quickly resolved, but even so, the rooms weren’t cleaned every day. Plus we have to ask to have our towels changed when they were visibly soiled. Yes, you can always call Dominique to have things taken cared of, but they, need to do better.

I liked the location of the place. It was close to the Hi-Lo supermarket and it is right next to Margaritaville. They have their own beach. I love that even though our stay wasn’t the best one, the hostess, Dominique, was very attentive and sweet. I think that this place has SOOOO much potential, she just needs a little bit more help and needs to sort out the wifi issue.
