The Hostel is very central and cozy. The mixed dorm is spacious, cool and the bunk bed curtains give welcomed sense of privacy. The staff are exceptionally helpful in guiding you on how to get around the island with both local & convenient travel options. They are so warm. Plus the Cafe' next door is pretty convenient too. Love the dream bowls and nyam n scramble wraps. Such a great place to stay and meet like-minded travelers.

I didnt like the dorms so much...since you have to stay with around 20 people (20beds) and you still have to pay over 25 Dollars. Thats a high price for a station full of beds and people. Its also a little much because you have a constant coming in and out....so I was really afraid I couldn´t sleep or rest at all....but in the end...everything was good...I slept great and I met great people ;)

Raggamuffin- The hostel is located perfectly - just around the corner of Bob Marley museum, next to a herb shop and bar in the middle of the city. The personal working there are more than helpful. They are beautiful people who help you out whereever you can. They also offer special things...like a drive to the Bob Marley Beach or a cooking class for free, they order you a taxi as cheap as possible, and they give you good advices and help if you have a problem. I also met great people from all over the world - I loved to talk to and exchange experiences. I loved my stay there and would always stay there again ....thanks to this wonderful people working there.

The aircon didn't quite travel to the whole of the room but it wasn't sweltering hot at least. It would be good to have aircon in the common area too.

Curtains at your bed so a bit of privacy. I was in the 20 person dorm during carnival and it didn't feel like 20 people were there at all. The people who worked there were really helpful. It wasn't too hard to meet people at the hostel.

The showers maybe, you kinda miss privacy and the Wifi connexion that doesn’t work outside and in the bedroom

The bedroom, you enter a cocoon, the living room is cool also, the receptionists are welcoming, the location is really safe, the coffee shop also is cool for the mornings

This is the third time I stay here. The staff are like extended family at this point. They are amazing and kind and have looked after me and looked out for me in more then one way. They are currently doing a few renovations extending the space which will only add to an already awesome city hostel. I love the space. Super social. Always meet great people here. I love Kaya herb house and all of the music and vegan options in the back yard there. I will always recommend this place!

They charge for everything. Almost. Towel 1 usd per night. Washing machine $7 per wash. 12 usd for drying?!! I won't say it's a bad place, because Jamaica is expensive, and the money you pay is ok. But I still think that towel and washing should not be charged or at least cheaper. I would also add that it is ugly that the staff allows guests to put their dusty feet on the table! And someone is eating on that table!

Loved the atmosphere in the hostel. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Easy to arrange transportation to/from the hotel. The space was clean. The hostel is close to bob marley museum and restaurants.

Would have loved if there were more comfortable seating outside.

The staff were incredible. Kind, thoughtful and helpful. They went to the pharmacy to get me pain medication and gave me of their food when I was sick. Beds were clean. Room cool. Privacy curtains, reading light and sockets. The common areas isn't large which results in a very social atmosphere. Restaurants and bars on the same street. Felt safe even at night. Highly recommend this as your Kingston stay.

A bit loud around 5/6am, kept us awake. Sounded like someone was cleaning but they had music on which made it louder. All good apart from that.

Cool hostel, good location in Kingston, New Kingston is quite safe. Comfortable beds and they have a bar if you need to get breakfast though it's not included. Really friendly and helpful staff. We only stayed one night but would stay again. WiFi is good.
