The waitress at the French Restaurant just gave us the meal and left us. She did not return until we spied her and asked for steak knives as the normal knife could not cut the lamb chips we ordered. Then she didn’t ask how was the meal , she just left us for about half of an hour, she returned. We were anxiously awaiting for our desert, but left without getting any. We were in room 3136 and we went there on Tuesday night.

The gym had too many machines for the size of the room . Also, the staff assigned to the gym was not on duty. Wait times for dinner varied.

The hotel is worn and tired - especially the rooms. Although they do their best to keep the rooms clean, compared to other Secrets (Mexico for example) we could really notice the difference.

we booked an ocean view room and it was a partial view, blocked by trees, if you sat in the far right corner you could see the ocean

Hotel is amazing! Beach is really good, location its perfect. Staff was really friendly! Night shows were good. Loved the Italian and Asian restaurant. Lunch and breakfast at world cafe were also really good with several different options.

Breakfast area could be larger with more variety in order to avoid congestion and long lines. Some food stations were totally not visited; the food choices (breakfast) should be revisited. The toilet door could be more secure (sealed). Perhaps, more spraying of the property to prevent bug/mosquito bites.

The check in process was terrible. Arrived at 1 did a 15 minute walk through process was told we can explore return at 3 to check in. Returned around 4 only had 3 people in front . Room was not ready after waiting 45 minutes in a hot lobby with no air. Finally got to us and said they were checking on room. Check in process is not structured at all

You could tell that the hotel was a bit older in comparison to the accommodations at Breathless. It was still a nice room, just caulking and tiles showed signs of repair in the bathroom area. The drinks could have been stronger at certain bars as well.

In the room that we stayed, housekeeping congregated in the hallway and held loud conversations, early in the mornings. One day, I opened the door to let them know that we were attempting to "sleep-in." One lady apologized, greatly, but the conversations and laughter continued for at least 10 minutes before it stopped. The next morning, it was the same situation. Room service needs some revamping. Taking 2 hours to receive food is unacceptable. One day, we never received anything at all. The front desk staff is very unaccommodating. It's as if they don't care to make the stay enjoyable.

The atmosphere is very inviting! We enjoyed the entertainment crew and they make us want to revisit. I don't know why Don Julio tequila isn't offered at the resort, but we would have loved that! The guys at the Piano Bar were great! Maybe expand the Hibachi restaurant, as it seems to be most popular.

They don’t have enough Pool and beach chairs . Can be hard to get a spot to sit by the pool or beach unless you wake up at dawn .

Our first room was not clean: sand on the floor, hair in the bed and bathroom, dust on the shelves. We moved to another room that was fine, but it left a bad first impression. This is somewhat outside of the control of the property, but the crowd was pretty stuffy. My husband and I like to have fun, like normal people. It was odd to be in a crowd that didn't engage in call and response, applaud the entertainment, etc. If nothing else, the performers worked hard every night to entertain the crowd and it's just rude to me to not acknowledge their effort. It's fine if you don't mind being the loudest person in the audience, but I prefer a group effort to really bring fun energy to the space.

The property was well designed with every room seeming to have a great view. The water was crystal clear and the sand was relatively clean, too. The food was, hands down, the best all inclusive food we have had to date. There was almost always something to do and we enjoyed the entertainment every single night.
