    The air-conditioning is poor.

    Air conditioner should have been working like listed in ad

    I would never rent this place again. Bad customer service and price was different in person from online. Ac doesn't work

    The below are the reasons why I would strongly recommend that people do not book this property for their stay: 1. Firstly, on arrival I had to wait over 40 minutes for somebody to arrive and check me into the property. This is even though I gave them a specified time I would arrive and arrived in that time frame. Also, the owner of the property rang me up and asked me to pay before arrival, saying that it should have been done via booking.com before arrival - even though the listing itself gave no option to do so and said to pay at property. This phone call was less than an hour before the specified check in time I had provided which the owner of the property was claiming I had not met. How could I not have met an arrival time that had not arrived yet? When I clarified that I was still within my specified arrival time and provided a further precise arrival time of 40 minutes I was still then waiting at the property for another 40 minutes for the housekeeper to arrive and check us in. 2. Secondly, once the housekeeper had finally arrived I was told that I needed to pay a totally different price to what I had booked for on booking.com, even though on the website it says the price is inclusive of all taxes and other charges. I was told I needed to pay $300US for my 2 night stay, $66 more than what I had booked for. I had to explain multiple times that the property owner had provided a discounted rate on booking.com as well as my genius member discount, and send screenshots of my booking information to the housekeeper so she could explain to the property owner. It took a while but eventually the price magically dropped back down to the original price booked for after being told repeatedly I HAD TO pay $300; this is not how any business works and it was made to seem like she was doing me a favour by honouring the original price. 3.

    The room was generally nice, and clean when we arrived. There was a nice view of the ocean from the room. However it is not beach front as advertised, it’s overlooking the beach up a hill. A lot of the details listed about the property are not correct. The housekeeper was a nice woman,and did her best, but is dealing with things that a housekeeper shouldn’t have to., bearing a lot more responsibility than a housekeeper should have to.

    Was hot and horrible no ac for 2days on the first of the month I have to sleep in my car for the whole night until day light the door code was changed and I call the host for 6hrs straight but no response until in the morning then one morning I was scared to death tile was just start breaking up I thought it was an earthquake but it's because the room was so hot for them 2days but the lady was really nice to me and all now I can't get back my deposit money plus for the night I sleep in my car I want back my money it's one of the worst place I ever stayed in my life it really a zero rate for me I think I get scam out my deposit money

    it is not beach front like advertised. yes you have a view of the ocean but you’re up in on a hill that’s not on the beach. good he curtains offer minimum privacy and not sunlight/light blocking. The light in the pole was shining in the room all night!!! the fees are ridiculous, the fees are more than the booking stated price. The owner charges more than what’s on booking. the ac don’t work but you’re giving instructions on how to operate the AC. it was the same for the water heater. It does not work as well but you got instructions for how to turn it on.

    the security at the gate was very rude.

    The poor customer service and the last minute notice that an additional amount was required to be paid at the hotel. And before I was given the chance to decide...it was charged on my card. And then the person to whom I spoke was quite rude and insolent and not to mention inconsiderate.

    Absolutely nothing as there was so many negative issues/obstacles and not to mention thr poor customer service.

    this is a scam property. i agreed to pay $96.70 for 2 nights i was forced to pay $236.70 including $70.00 in cash which they demanded on the spot. i protested the charges and i was threatened by the host with profanity and i felt like my life was in danger. the property has no security, its an aptmt building for locals not a resort they were banging on my door at 4am only atter i called the police they left before the police arrived. i demand a full refund and i would never recommend this property

    The owner wasn't there for check-in, nor for check-out, even though we wrote several times our arrival- and departure time. For every single question, we had she blamed us to steal her time. When we arrived we stand middle in the of nowhere and nobody knew anything about this business and we had to sleep somewhere else. She charged us high fees twice and never showed up for check-out. Jennifer Dyer is a real scammer because we never got back our deposit! So we have to go back to go to court against this business, to get our deposit back!

    Here are the reasons why I truly discourage you from booking this place: 1. First of all, the price shown in the results is not the final price. There is an extra fee of 70 USD for cleaning (which I didn't ask for), paid by cash at the place. You CANNOT see this value while booking accomodation on your phone. 2. The amount for booking AND the extra fee was taken from my bank account BEFORE my arrival. Nevertheless, the owner still demanded me to pay in cash at the spot. 3. I believe that everything is possible to figure out, if there only is a good will. This was not the case here. The owner refused to understand that this extra fee was paid by me already. I have to say, that the contact was absolutely RUDE and unprofessional. In fact, I felt like I did something wrong, while it was me who paid twice for something that was not stated in the price in the first place. 4. I spent 2 hours calling booking.com trying to figure out this issue. That was an extra cost of time, stress and money for me, which I am not up to, especially not on holidays. 5. Until now I was not reimbursed my money. 6. In theory the aircon switched off every 2 hours. In practice you have to turn it on egain every 20-30 minutes. That means you wake up 10 times at night in a sauna and have to turn it on again. 7. There is no soap, no shampoo neither paper towel provided. Even hostels provide these things (and they don't charge 70 USD extra). TV remote not working. 8. The fact that the bulbs are taken out from the lamps (!) in this place is just a symbol of the owner's state of mind. 9. The comment below written by the owner is an effect of her imagination - since the beginning we booked for 2 nights. Never commented anything about Independence day or anything. The things she wrote are just not true. I am afraid she is just a trobled person. 10. After receiving booking the owner confused something, wrote to me at night to cancel, then called me at 6:30 am to say it was a mistake.

    I liked the view from the balcony. Also the cleaning lady was very sweet and communicative. Unfortunately this does not make up for the quality of contact with the owner that I describe below.

    The property advertised air conditioner. However the air conditioner was on a timer and only stayed on for 10 mins. at a time, if that long, and I had to keep pressing the start button to get cold air. Therefore, day and night I was forced to sleep with the doors and windows open. Lucky it was in a gated community, therefore safety was not a major issue. Due to being forced to leave the patio door open the rock that was being used as a door stopper slid away during heavy breeze causing the patio door to slamm against the door frame causing a dent at the bottom of the door strip. Upon addressing the lack of sufficient air conditioner. The property owner Susan Dryer told me if I did not like the property, I should leave (worst customer service experience ever). She then proceeded to agrue the dent on the bottom of the patio door. I stayed at the property from July 17, 2022 to July 25, 2022 and the air conditioner remained non functioning. I have a security deposit of $150.00 U.S Dollars I would like a refund for. This property manager only cares about saving on utilities and not the comfort of the guest. Even the water cooler was on a timer. RIDICULOUS!!!!!

    The house keeping was excellent. The housekeeper arrived on a timely basis and changed the bedding and towels every other day. She was very polite and professional.

    There was nothing there there that i didn't like..

    I like the beautiful sea view and it was peace and quite there.. The room was just as i expected and i would recommend it to anyone..

    I didn't like the fact that the water heater could only bath one person then it gets cold so the second person has to take a cold shower. There was water on the floor which needed to be investigate and rectify. The bed was uncomfortable it dips in the middle.

    The place was clean and has a home feel to it. The location was near the center.
