The service at the restaurant/pub is painfully slow The pillows are too thick. Some places offer a mix, but all four were overly thick, which is terrible for your neck and spine.

The price compared to nearby full-service hotels is the main reason for staying here. The location is the second reason. The rooms are large and VERY clean. The sports facilities and pool are great. It was my second stay. Suitable for a few nights only and if you'll be out most of the time.

However, the evening kitchen staff let the side down. My husband ordered curry goat but waited two hours and when it arrived, it was very cold. Therefore, that meal was not prepared in that kitchen but came from elsewhere. It was highly priced and there was very little meat in the meal. This seems more like a side hustle.

Friendly staff, clean environment. The people at the front serving breakfast were fantastic. Service was excellent and the food tasty and there was more on offer.

Reception and kitchen to have same information re closing time at night, as the discrepancy meant having to leave hotel to find something to eat.

I liked the layout of the hotel. The gym is a good sized one and watching guests play tennis is not something I thought I would enjoy. Appreciated the fridge as not all hotels include them and I feel they should be standard in hot countries.

Television too small. More breakfast variety is needed.

Friendly front desk staff and restaurant staff. Lots of sporting activities....tennis, table tennis and pickleball. Walking distance to Emancipation park and other hotels. Delicious breakfast menu. Small shop in lobby for snacks n drinks.

Walking track needed, even a small one. Emancipation Park is close by, but it would be nice to be able to have a walk around the property with signs pointing out which way to go, important plants etc.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was good, but sometimes the items on the menu were not available and you did not find out until you placed your order. So a board with specials of the day would be helpful. The red peas soup, pumpkin soup and fish cakes were awesome.

Stayed here for two days and 1 night after a 9 day tour round the island. Had the pool to myself for the two days - staff couldn’t do enough to help me. Hotel looked after my bags pre and post check in/check out as I arrived very early and my flight left very late

Bit confusion on check in as we arrived after 22pm, time until the check in is open is 10, but at the end all went well. The property could have informed before hand how to handle later arrival via private message as we did inform in advance. But at the end all worked out well :)

Good food at restaurant for dinner. Centric location big pool for swimming. Friendly staff.

Reception staff weren't the most welcoming compared to other places we stayed. Breakfast extremely basic.

Access to tennis courts and squash (although no access to equipment rental on Sundays which we learned after booking a court with reception).

I wasn’t too keen on the wooden floors but it wouldn’t affect my rating.

The location was very central. The staff were all very courteous. During my stay I received a call from the restaurant each night to confirm if I was coming down for dinner. The food was great, and the prices were affordable. Daily housekeeping was received which has become a rare service within this hotel industry since covid. Bathroom was of a good size, and I had more than enough toiletries for my entire stay. Water pressure was good, and I had access to hot water. I enjoyed my stay and will return.

The dining area was just below and so the room was a bit noisy.

I had a spacious room that included a s.all den-like area with a desk for work. That was a pleasant surprise.

There could be a jar of water in the gym.

The breakfast is really good but it should not be restricted by either the continental or the jamaican breakfast. For example, I would like some callaloo with my omelet but it was not possible. The reception staff is excellent, very friendly and efficient. The room cleaning staff also does an excellent job.

Menu options for restaurant is too limited. The food available is not always tied to the menu provided. Instead, it is tied to what the chef prepares that particular day. Breakfast options are also limited. Therefore, what you eat for breakfast tends to get a bit repetitive after staying a few days

It’s central to everything in Kingston. The food at the restaurant is very affordable. Breakfast is decent. They have a gym, tennis court and swimming pool on site. Staff is very courteous. Adequate parking.
