I didn’t have any hot water to make my baby’s formula in the late evening, the from desk assisted me in getting some from the kitchen. I was grateful.

The added commission was not noticeable when i first booked as is not added to the total cost. Not much choice at breakfast or at the mini bar. Would suggest adding more to the menu and to price items reasonably.

The staff was very accommodating. Free hot drinks where provided at breakfast.

I almost didn't stayed there because of lizards. But she assured my that I will be fine, I had two encounter with the lizards, the staff came to my rescue, the balcony door and windows especially in the bathroom should be sealed, and at nights I was unable to use the light in the bathroom because it attracted insects, and it was also hard to find the plugs for the electric outlet.

The breakfast was great, chef was very excellent with trying his best to satisfy my needs. All the staff was very friendly and try their best to fulfill my needs.

Directions & locating the property was not straightforward. It would help if guidance, regarding this, was added to the website. The staff were very helpful in assisting me, on the phone, with directions. I was concerned about security, as the property had open access (no security gates @ the main entrance & reception closed @ night) & although my room could be looked, when leaving, I was concerned when I did so.

The beds were uncomfortable. The shower is very small. The room could use some work. It is very basic. Room was very noisy at nights due to close by traffic.

Close proximity to the airport. They will call a cab for you to go to the airport. The place is super cheap.

Repairs need to be dne for the room because there was a hole in the wall. Pool was not maintained for guess as there was debris and insects. Tea supplies were limited. Was not able to try their breakfast as we didn't request the day before nor cooking staff was not available.

There was not a fully functioning restaurant, And when the kitchen staff/cheff did come in i thought the food was a little overpriced. $2000 Jamaican dollars for 1 meal. (£14) Hopefully by now the kitchen is up and running.!

Overall the service was reasonable, considering the affordable price for my weeks stay. Nice big pool Friendly staff The security guard was very helpfull and friendly. Jacki should be prompted to management, she was absolutely kind and genuinely lovely. Overall the staff made us feel welcomed and when we had an issues with our room they worked very hard to accommodate us. I would stay at Verney house again.
