Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe shower was cramped and not working very well, leaking in a few places, a mop in the bathroom would help. Our children got a few bites whilst sleeping in the bed of this room.
The manager was very good, helpful and accommodating. The hotel is in a good location and it is easy to get around from there. The breakfast was standard Middle East breakfast but the packing up of breakfast begins early so be on time. The room was a good size

Czech RepublicNot much in terms of restaurants in the vicinity. There is a fairly large supermarket just nearby open till late, though. The wifi was unreliable. There was no switch for the main light - I had to switch off the light fuse for the night.
Really convenient if you arrive or depart from the Jett's Abdali bus station. Also walking distance from the 3,30 JOD shuttle stop "Housing bank complex" from the airport. The breakfast was okay (omelette, eggs, pita, hummus.. ). The TV worked.

MoldovaMaintenance could have been better, cleaning was okeish. There was also a smell of cat piss on some floors. There are some textile-covered couches on some floors and it seems that there are cats that use them :) We felt cat piss smell in many places in Jordan though, it seems that cats are welcomed in many places and they piss, but the smell was just on one corridor :) Our room smelled good. Other issue which was common and observed in many places in Jordan is the white mold (non-toxic), we noticed some in our room as well.
Location was great as its right next to the bus station which we needed for the bus to Petra. There are also several shops at the ground floor where you can buy snacks, water and food for your trips, which is a big plus. Otherwise it is very close to the Abdali Mall (photos attached) and one could walk to the city centre if you make an itinerary with some pins to visit/shop/eat along the way (we did it, although Uber is rather cheap and we could take one instead). Breakfast was ok, they also packed a box with food for us as we had a very early bus to Petra next morning. The room was large and the furniture and everything seemed of good quality, although they do need to improve their maintenance.

JapanAs other guests have pointed out, my room was full of humid when I entered, it was ok after I switched on air conditioner for a while. Because of the humidity, I did not enjoy staying at my room much. I just slept over night after coming back from Petra and left on the following day. Shower curtain was still short; the bathroom floor became all wet after shower. Shower head needs to be cleaned. I was ok with a thin bed over??? No over sheet.. Well, it might be a bit cold to someone.
Location Location Location! A few steps away from Jett Bus Station, this is the best hotel to stay one day before or after taking Jett bus to Petra. People at reception and neighbourhood (local shops) are very friendly and kind.

LebanonI liked its proximity to the Jett bus station, and that it is only a 15 min walk to the Boulevard. The double room was spacious and more than enough for 2, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly.

FinlandVentilation( very loud) in the bathroom is connected to the lights, so when the lights are on , loud buzzing of ventilation could be very annoying for the person in the bathroom. Maybe if they could add some few extra options ( maybe sausages and omelette for example , ect) for the breakfast , it would make breakfast really good indeed too.
Overall, i had Very pleasant stay with them. More than value for money. Very attentive stuff , who is 24/7 ready to help you. Rooms are very spacious and kind of comfortable. They serve breakfast ( not so fantastic on variety of food items presented) , but still very nice of them to serve it for the guests .

CanadaMost of staff were not bilingual.
In the room, there was an electric kettle (to make tea and/or coffee) and a fridge. Both appliances were very useful. The only one total bilingual staff (woman-morning shift) was useful to help me for instructions about the neighbourhood.

EstoniaThe hotel's surroundings are perhaps not the nicest and the hotel itself has seen better days, but the quality and price are at good balance and I personally have nothing to complain about. :)
I only spent a short night at the hotel, so I am not in a position to make thorough comments here. Hotel manager Ashraf was very good and effective in answering all my questions and requests in advance, a packed lunch was organised at my request without any problems, and the room was quiet enough to have a short night's sleep. To me the main reason in choosing this hotel was that it is almost adjacent to the JETT bus company's Abdali office where the buses to Petra depart from, so it saved me a lot of time in the early morning.

AustraliaNot much at at, it suited my family’s needs.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room sizes was good. There were two lifts which were helpful for my elderly mother and to assist in getting bags to our floor. It was walking distance to the Jettbus terminal from which you can catch a bus to Petra. There were several grocery and convenience stores directly downstairs.

United KingdomI cannot say enough about the staff here. As silly tourists, we didn’t realise the border was closed the morning before Yom Kippur too. To our panic, Islam notified us of this the morning we woke to get a taxi to the King Hussein Border. My husband and I were panicked but Islam went out of her way to find us a room for two more nights, get us a SIM card and help us arrange plans for the few days we had to wait until the borders reopened. She was our angel and we cannot thank her enough for being so welcoming and helpful in our time of need. As for the rooms, they are clean and have all the basics you need. No frills or anything fancy but if you need a place to rest, it serves its purpose. Please note that I tend to always feels cold so the sheets they give weren’t enough for me, but I’m sure if you asked, the 7 Boys team would provide you with additional blankets. 7 boys was also very close to the bus station which made it so much easier to catch the early bus to Petra. Thank you to the 7 boys team for sharing your Jordanian hospitality with us!

CanadaThe location of hotel is on main street which could be positive or negative for someone. The location was extremely convenient for me as I wanted to catch the bus for King Hussain Bridge in morning and Jet bus Abdali station is 2min walk. The suite was large with king size bed. The 5 stars 🌟 I will give to the old man who checked me in in evening and made request for breakfast box for me to be ready morning 630am as I was going to catch bus 715am. Their breakfast starts at 8am usually, real Jordanian hospitality.
