Great location close to Barrah canyon. Kaled is highly service-minded, he organised our arrival pick-up at 3am. The camp is cosy and fairly small, we enjoyed tasty local food. There's wifi.

You do not need to worry once you are in the hands of Khaled, Jihad and Ahmed. They will do everything to make you feel at home. If you like coffee, Ahmed is there for you. Khaled granted us the best room, and we enjoyed it very much. This camp is just 15 minutes from the main road, so the transport with the 4X4 vehicle is short and smooth. We thank the entire team for their friendliness and outstanding hospitality. They are all young but with proven expertise.

The people were fantastic and very welcoming. The food was great, the room was clean and the staff entertained us. The owner also gave us a free ride in the desert, which would usually cost a lot. I highly recommend it.

Star Trail Beduin Camp was amazing! I spent two nights in a luxury tent with a private bathroom and a picture window that faced some breathtaking rock formations. I highly recommend booking this--I woke up early to watching the sunrise come up in the desert. The camp is at an incredible location. The food is amazing, the camp is clean and has internet. The hosts are a wonderful and very hospitable family. They replied very quickly to any questions I had before I got there. I was also able to book a jeep tour and a camel ride through the camp Four hours by jeep in Wadi Rum was a highlight of my Jordan trip. If I did it over again I would book six hours. I saw so much but I wish I had more time to see more of the rocks and landmarks. I highly recommend booking with them. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe here.

the pillows are rock hard (though I think that’s pretty standard for the camps so not to worry- just be prepared). also don’t expect a warm shower (also standard just good to know in advance). I would totally stay here again!!

The camp was in a great location!! you could not see any other camps from the picture window in the tent and no trucks passed by. It is close enough to the Barak canyon to walk to and have a look around. The food was really good! The brothers that own it are very nice.

Great location. Secluded and no traffic passing by. Khalid and his brother are very friendly and helpful. We also did a jeep tour, organized by Khalid and he got us a fair price on a taxi to Aqaba. The rooms are like new and have electricity, toilet and shower. Also great food for dinner. Would definitely go back again

The only detail to mention is that we didn't have hot water in the shower and the pillows were really thin (in my opinion), but still not big deal or something too important to care about :)

The environment: there aren't other camps around, so is like more private. Also, the dinner was really amazing, you could repeat as much as you wanted and the cooking method they used was super interesting (and healthy!) Room and dinner/breakfast tents were really cozy, clean and comfy. Khalid was really thinking about our comfort and always asking how was everything, even night before we were going to stay in his camp he was writing us to schedule perfectly our pick up. In few words, I totally recommend it!

It's was relatively fast decision to travel to Jordan. Camping selection was almost random and really successful! We felt as visit family. We were surrounded by attention and care all the time. We got a lot of help with our trip planning and organization. The timing was precise, we really enjoyed our short vacation and nothing bothered it. Definitely we will be back to Khaled's camp.

The Jeep tour was really good, Khaled knows very well the desert as a true local. The experience is really genuine, at the night is also possibile to see easily the milky way. Highly recommended. We hope to come back soon

The breakfast was consistent and traditional. I was amazed at how the dinner was cooked. This was also hearty and delicious. I strongly recommend spending several days at Khalid's Beduin Authentic Camp. Thanks to Khalid for the hospitality and the transfer to Aqaba and to his brother for the beautiful trip through the desert! Thanks also to Nassar for the delicious breakfast prepared. I will definitely come back for more days in this special place in Wadi Rum.

they could have give us more information like how the dinner will happen , we can take water from the freezer box ourselves…..but it was maybe because of the language barrier! everything was really nice!

We made the booking on same day and got an inmediate response from the owner Khalid, who was extremely accomodating with our timings. Upon arrival he met us and brought us to the camp, welcomed us with hot tea and a bonfire. We enjoyed looking at the stars smoking shisha, he offered the jeep tour for the morning and agreed to our specific timings. The jeep tour was very nice and enjoyable, we took only 2 hours, but it was enough to go around the amazing Wadi Rum. For breakfast even though very simple, was extended to us after the jeep tour as we requested. The room was as expected, with an amazing window to enjoy the sunrise. We were extremely happy with the service and hospitality of Khalid and his team.

Honestly given the fabulous location, friendly staff, and cheap prices, I don't really have any criticism. The property is as advertised and goes above and beyond for their guests.

Firstly the location is beautiful, this camp is in a stunning isolated area of Wadi Rum. There is so much to explore even in the confinds of the camp, not to mention the fabulous views from the private rooms themselves and how the lack of any light pollution means the night sky is mesmerising. The staff themselves are so friendly and accommodating, they offer fantastic tours of the desert cheaper and more involved than I'd seen elsewhere but besides that really made me feel part of the beduin community, between the singing/dancing, tasty cuisine, and traditional camp there was never a dull moment! Personally I was also grateful for the fast Wi-Fi which was a lifesaver for me as I work remotely. All in all, this was a once in a lifetime experience and I'm very grateful to Khalid and all the staff for making this such a fun trip! Highly reccomend!

It was quiet and you could hear the desert music. The staff was really attentive asking us if we needed anything. The food was always served on time and the staff supplied us continously with beduin whisky (local tea) which was a treat in the desert heat. They were on time with the jeep tour which took us to all the main desert attractions and amazing views. The view from our tent was great, we were able to see the sunrise from bed. The room was clean and running hot water despite the desert conditions.

Very friendly staff. It was clean. It wasn’t immaculate but remember this is in the middle of the desert. The food was good and the traditional meal was the best food we had in Jordan the entire week. We would go back to this camp! The tour was right priced as well and good duration.
