Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe room was not expensive, so I cannot complain. But if you are planning to stay here, be prepared for the bare minimum. A place to sleep.
The location was great.

United KingdomNothing we didn't like really but I thought the bathroom in our room was a bit tired and in need of a refurbishment.
We had a lovely time. Best location one could ask for, 2 min walk from the main square. Staff was great and for sure the highlight. We arrived after a two days trek and had blisters and some scratches. One of the ladies made us sit down, brought us tea and gave us plasters and anything else we needed. They even offered my daughter some cakes as we arrived at the break of Ramadan. We cant thank you enough!

JordanYou can call this place magical. A beautiful and clean hotel with a charming view. A delicious Jordanian breakfast with many varieties. Hot tea at any time. A clean, tidy room with a beautiful smell. The hotel contains the beautiful heritage of Jordan. I spent a night on the roof and enjoyed the beautiful view of downtown. I had a peaceful sleep. After tiring travel, and there was a free parking lot in front of the hotel, you can come to this place and rest there. It has a quiet location and center, unlike other hotels I stayed in. You can get everything you want in this place. I will really come back to you again, and every time I will not hesitate to stay in this place. Place

Kuwaithotel does not provide basic bathroom amenities. You'll need to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, etc. Additionally, the breakfast offering is somewhat lacking.
This hotel boasts a fantastic location, putting you right in the heart of the action. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, making you feel welcome throughout your stay. The room itself is on the smaller side, but it's clean and comfortable. The bed is particularly noteworthy, offering a great night's sleep. However, be aware that the hotel does not provide basic bathroom amenities. You'll need to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, etc. Additionally, the breakfast offering is somewhat lacking. Overall, this is a good option for budget-minded travelers who prioritize location and comfort over spacious rooms and extensive amenities.

AustraliaBeautiful hotel, excellent property, very good location, everything is great. I really loved this place. Beautiful quiet house. Everything is clean. Beautiful furniture and location close to everything. I really felt like I was at home. I always was. I never hear people say, “This house is actually a second home to me.” The landlord is wonderful. He recommends everything and is ready to meet all your needs. Fathi is the perfect man for this place. He and his kind, loving, and hospitable staff. Sitting in the lounge is fun and also enjoying the sunshine on the upper roof. This is very beautiful. The breakfast was complete with everything. It is very good value for money and if you want tours For tourism, you should book it through the hotel, and it will be much cheaper than what you expected, easier, more comfortable, and safer. When I asked the driver to stop so I could take pictures, he did not hesitate every time. I asked him to do this as well. When I arrived, I arrived late. It was time for them to break their fast during Ramadan. With my determination to eat, and the hotel owner insisted that I eat with them, it has a truly delicious and magical taste. Thank you, Fatima, for this wonderful food that you prepare. They are truly a beautiful family.

United StatesThe bathroom and shower facilities were on the older side, and it was difficult to air out the room since it was small, but it was clear that the hosts paid great attention to making sure that we were as comfortable as possible.
The breakfast offering was simple but fresh, and the hosts were extremely kind and courteous throughout our stay, offering us tea while we waited for a cab that they arranged and making sure we felt at home in their home.

GermanyFinding such a hotel is not easy, as it is a hotel with a beautiful location and a view of the Roman amphitheater The place is very close to archaeological sites. The place is quiet and beautiful. It has a warm family spirit. A very nice and creative staff. The prices are very reasonable. It includes a very good breakfast and hot drinks are available throughout the day. There is a group of free hot drinks. All my requests have been met. The room and all the facilities I think are... It was cleaned with great care and there is an incredible arrangement in their choice of furniture and carpets. The bed is very comfortable. In front of the hotel there are beautiful green trees and they have a beautiful cat that I recommend taking care of. When I arrived, the employee Fathi was surprised. It was my birthday. In the evening, they made a birthday party for me and guests from the hotel attended. What a wonderful thing. I am really thankful to you, Fathi. You and Wael, for this surprise. We really enjoyed it. It is very nice to find someone who cares about you so much after the hardship of a long travel. I will not forget it either. The driver who received us from the airport to the hotel is an amazing driver. I highly recommend him. They have services and prices that are competitive with all the hotels I encountered during my trip. When I left, Mr. Wael gave me a box of their delicious tea. I will never forget the taste. Fathi Wael and the two beauties. Thank you very much for what you gave us 🥰🥰🥰 I will see you next week when I return from Aqaba. I wish you success. You are truly a wonderful family that runs a unique and beautiful hotel.

A beautiful, wonderful hotel in every sense of the word. A delicious multi-variety breakfast. A very clean room. I had a really wonderful stay. The location is very comfortable. There is free parking. I had a very wonderful stay. I think the staff could not be more welcoming. The air conditioning in the room was giving off hot air, and I slept very peacefully. And comfort. Very good value for money. Fathi helped me with everything. Internet service is very good and works quickly. Very comfortable pillow and really warm cover. Everything is beautiful, wonderful and clean. Tea is available throughout the day. It is free. There was a breakdown in my car. The owner Wael helped me maintain it. Thank you. I am sure that I will... Come back here♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

JordanEverything was beautiful
In fact, I don't know where to start. My husband and I spent a quiet and beautiful night in this hotel. It is not a hotel that makes you feel like you are in your home. This is what we heard during our stay. They have a word, "This is your home." My husband and I arrived at the hotel late at night. The receptionist, Fathi, greeted us with all enthusiasm. He was pleased and helped us carry our bags upstairs. My husband was sick. He provided him with hot ginger tea. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. In the morning, the breakfast was charming and very delicious. Indeed, I was confused where to start. There was a very nice breakfast buffet available. I will not forget Mr. Wael, the property manager, he is a perfect man. To manage this hotel, my husband and I helped us with some reservations and tours and going on a fun trip to Petra and Wadi Rum. I do not forget to talk about the cleanliness of the place and the cleanliness of the room. It is very clean and does not resemble the other hotels we were staying in. It is a room with a very beautiful view overlooking the castle mountain and the Roman amphitheater. It has a balcony. Beautiful and I will not forget the two beautiful girls that I met in the morning. The smile was always on their faces. Fatima and Sakina. Every time I will come to Amman, this hotel will be my destination. It is really a very beautiful place. I recommend coming to it because you will feel at home. Thank you, The Meydan Hotel, for this stay. Beautiful. In fact, this hotel deserves a million stars, not ten

Very centrally located and close to various restaurants and shops. Hotel has real Jordanian spirit and style, just like the sign says “humble home”. The staff is there to make sure that whatever you may need is provided. If you are going on tours book those through the hotel and it will be a lot cheaper, easier and much more comfortable.

Palestinian TerritoryThe room was too small and was not as clean as expected. Although there was only one old clean towel on the room, there should have at least one more towel or hand towel with a bathroom matt. The shower in the bathroom has no water pressure (too low) and the bathroom window does not close.
The breakfast was standard middle eastern one and was good. The location is not too far from the main road and it is on a quite street.
