Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Aladdin camp is located in a very remote area, just the type of accommodation you need in order to feel the desert wilderness and enjoy the view. The staff is amazing, especially Muhammed the owner who made us feel at home there. They are kind, flexible and would walk extra miles to accommodate. The bubble rooms are amazing and have a great view. We for sure will come back

What a place! Having used a few of the desert camps in wadi rum already, I can safely say that this was the best one. Very clean, stylish and with a lot of attention for detail. The bubbles were spacious, the staff extremely helpful and the location perfect with no other camps in sight.

United Arab EmiratesIt is annoying that there is no internet in the rooms. Unfortunately there is no cell phone signal. Thanks to the help of the employee at the reception, I was able to check my emails. We also had a hard time staying in the room due to a 1.5 hour power outage.
The employees were friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, I really congratulate the cook. The room service attendant, who spoke English, was very eager to help. Air conditioning worked great.

TurkeyWe have taken 4x4 jeep tour for 5 hours from Aladdin Camp. But they assigned us a very old car. Also the driver of the car had not a good timing regarding this tour. For exemple he did not reach at the right time to sun set area. He was not a honest person. For that reason I recommend to other traveller, before coming to the Wadi Rum to take 4x4 tour from Visitor Center or arrange their reservation of car from internet. Also firstly they offer us this jeep tour for a very expensive price . When I did not accept this price, they decreased a lot. It was not a honest attitude.
The comfort of our deluxe tent and also the meals met our satisfaction.

GermanyThey really need some renovation from outside like paint and cleaning.
Beautiful view all perfect with this price. They offer all tours. Best is their seating area and food. Slow water supply in shower but you can't complain as you are nowhere near the city and it's understandable. I really enjoyed our stay.

Aladdin camp is a BLAST!! the overall experience was amazing, starting from the jeep tour, we had only the 2 hours one cause we were short on time but next time we'll get the longer one! the guide was very accomodating taking us around and taking amazing pictures of our group. the camp is amazing, we had both a luxury tent and a panoramic one and they were both cozy and with good amenities considering being in the middle of the desert. the pick up service at the parking spot was perfectly on time both ways. last but not least, meals were OUTSTANDING!! we tried literally EVERYTHING both at dinner and breakfast and every single dish was DELICIOUS!!!!

HungaryIt is not negative but be prepared that you are in the middle of the desert so no wifi, they turn off the electricity between 10 am and 2 pm and also after 10 pm.
Staying in one of the panorama domes is truly an unforgettable experience. The beautiful desert scene makes this hotel very unique as it is nestled between the rocks. The staff was very nice and helpful, we got a transfer to the camp. Breakfast and dinner were included and everything was tasty, the camp also offers tours like jeep safari, camel riding etc.

RomaniaIf you go for the desert jeep tour, make sure to clarify at the start of the tour which places you're going to visit as some things may be easier to clarify at the camp. If you go for the domes, request one that has glass tiles (not plastic tiles). Ours had plastic tiles and the view was pretty blurry. Then again, they did provide us with exactly what we requested (domes in the first row). It's on us that we didn't know what to ask for.
They offered parking for our car near the town and they came to pick us up in a jeep. The car was unharmed when we returned to it, 2 days later. The camp is very colourful and cheerful and everybody is very friendly. They offer several attractions, all of which they informed us about in advance when we booked the place. We opted for the Star Gazing experience, which I whole-heartedly recommend as it was amazing, even though it was almost a full moon and few stars were visible. We also went camel riding at sunset, the ride doesn't go far from the camp, but it is still a very nice experience, especially if you've never ridden a camel before. We also chose the Alladin tour of the desert and we were most lucky to have Abid as our driver! Even though there was a bit of language barrier, he went above and beyond to meet our wishes and he was the nicest ever! He was the biggest factor to us enjoying our lenghty visit (about 8 hours) in the desert. The food at the camp was also very tasty, there being a buffet both for breakfast and dinner. There is plenty of food and for dinner they server chicken and lamb cooked in the ground for 10 hours. They also server shisha, which we enjoyed. They accommodated our request to have our domes in the first line, so we appreciate it. Our dome had its own bathroom with warm water, and air conditioning, the bed was very comfy. For us, the energy cuts when they switch between generators wasn't an inconvenience, as it only lasted for a bit. Also, we did not have phone signal while at the camp, but then again, it's the desert, so we welcomed the break from internet and being reachable at all times. The photos of the room are from when we left, it was perfectly clean and put together when we got there.

DenmarkWe spent one night in a panoramic tent. The experience was better than expected taking into consideration what the desert conditions can offer. One of the big pros was location. It was not too far away from the main road and a little town (maybe a 5-10 mins Jeep ride), but far enough to get the “desert” experience. We have seen some other “luxury” camps that were located just by the road and we were so glad about our location. The dinner and breakfast was tasty. Staff was helpful yet not pushy. The tent was incredibly hot when we arrived at around 2 pm until sunset but what else to expect from a see-through construction - AC in our tent worked but it was simply not enough for the heat. It was very pleasant at night though. The tent was clean although bathroom was quite ran down.

DenmarkThe shower was cold but we did take it in the evening.
This was the best experience. The camp is located in the middle of the desert, so you are in a good distance from any roads. The dome had an amazing view over the desert, a big comfy bed, and a really nice bathroom. The aircondition was turned on before we arrived. At night, you could see the stars through the big windows. The camp was really nice, spacious, and authentic. We did a 2 hour jeep tour with a nice beduin guide and his two kids. The dinner was cooked underground, and it tasted amazing. Lots of options in the buffet. The breakfast had an omelette bar which was great. Overall, it was an amazing highlight of our trip. We really recommend staying here.

IsraelOur stay included breakfast and dinner. There was very little variety on both meals and nothing for vegetarians. Breakfast ended at 9am already, and even half an hour before that there was no food left. When we asked for a refill the staff said it was finished.
The location is amazing, and the camp is beautiful. The tents look really good as well.
