Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Australia1. The bed was fine, but this is the first hotel I've stayed at where we had to do bedding ourselves? Why.... couldn't you just have housekeeping do it for your guests? 2. Hot water and pressure of the shower was weak. But at least it worked 3. The room itself was stayed at really needs a good clean or renovation. Seemed very run down.
Location was the main selling point for this hotel as is the price. If it weren't for these, might be a bit hard to recommend.

SlovakiaWe did not receive the room that was booked and indicated in the reservation description. Extremely noisy environment from the street, and at night entertainment overhead in the restaurant and then pop midnight moving furniture while driving every night. In the morning, a poor breakfast with an old vegetable salad.

United StatesThe breakfast was really basic (a piece of cake or some bread with a few dips). Parts of the hotel were also under renovation at the time and the room was quite loud at night, from other patrons of the hotel and the activity in the streeet. The bathroom was a bit dirty, but it was good enough for us.
The location is excellent and the price was good for the area.

ItalyMain problem is that the staff of the hotel or the he rooftop bar were very loud even at night. Rooftop is great but the staff is unable to keep it warm during winter by opening the door and the windows for no apparent reason. Also, the impression is that the maintenance in the rooms was not done in the last ten years or so. Many details could be improved.
Amazing rooftop, with great view in the Roman theatre. Food was good. They also offer plenty of services.

United KingdomWi-fi could have been better.
The hotel's location was good. Downtown, close to a lot of the sights, including the Roman Theatre and Citadel. Many good restaurants nearby. The hotel staff were great. Always friendly and helpful, and willing to organise trips etc for you. Louie, the manager, was so helpful. The room was a little basic, and wi-fi was intermittent, and the AC struggled (but kept going!). Bed was comfortable, and what a sight from the room, overlooking the Roman Theatre. The buffet breakfast was nice, and tasty. The rooftop bar had great views, although did not serve alcohol. I would stay here again.

Louie was amazing and super helpful. The hotel has the best location downtown and it’s very easy to move around the city. The view from the room was beautiful. Big room, and nicely decorated. The rooftop is very nice

AustriaThe room was quite dirty and some of its equipment was just not working or destroyed (eg. the toilet). There was no toilet paper. One minus - but I guess it's not the fault of the hotel - the mosque in front waking you so at 4;30 am every day. In general it's not a bad hotel and it's located great but it was quite expensive for such standard...
The location is excellent, the AC works well, bed is comfortable and the breakfast was nice and with a great view.

New ZealandThis property was incredibly good value for money. It was thoughtfully set up - good fridge - we had just stayed at a 5 star hotel where the fridge didn’t even work so was impressed!! Comfortable bed. Good shower. Apparently it is about to have a major renovation so think it will be amazing as the location and staff are great.

United KingdomBad points the hotel is doing renovations which they would do to the early hours of the morning :/ We had to change rooms several times as had no hot water.
We stayed for 4 nights in Pasha hotel. The location is great to see the major sites in Amman and close to restaurants and down town. We booked several trips through Pasha Hotel although probably could get them cheaper if you shopped around it was more convient and less hassle. The breakfast was very basic same as the rooms. The staff very helpful and always tried there best to help
