Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

JordanTowels could've been a little bit cleaner and rooms on the 6th floor are slightly noisy at night as they share a wall with the rooftop pool.
The hotel is located on a quiet street, but a quick 5 minute walk from a supermarket if needed. The rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast was good; it was your typical Arabic option made up of Hummus, foul, cheeses, manaqeesh, cold cuts etc. The staff where super sweet and accommodating. Overall would recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to save up money on accommodation, and enjoy spending that saved cash elsewhere in Aqaba.

United KingdomRooftop bar service could be better, the person on the bar has to either call the kitchen or go downstairs to get whatever drinks you order which can take a while, also the hotel brochure said you could order food up there but didn't see any menu or anybody eating. Pool could be a bit deeper
Breakfast and Dinner both delicious (only had dinner one night), great room, great views from both room and rooftop, pool a nice feature. Bebo on reception especially helpful with booking a tour to Wadi Rum!

United StatesAs other reviewers noted, the roof deck closes at sunset and the patio furniture is falling apart. It was nice to relax on a deck chair in the afternoon and the pool is lovely. We enjoyed our room so much that it didn’t matter.
Breakfast was a standard Jordan hotel breakfast but they did change up the hot dishes each day and they were pretty good! We loved the large room with high ceilings and great view over Aqaba and the bay. The bed and sheets were good. It felt like a boutique hotel in these respects. Great on site parking and it was easy to drive to the waterfront area for dinner and walking along the beach.

SlovakiaSome of the areas around the hotel are a bit dirty but that's not their fault.
The rooftop pool, boasting a stunning sunset view, was the highlight of my visit. The modern and clean rooms offered a comfortable retreat, while the friendly and professional staff added a warm touch to the overall ambiance. The breakfast was both satisfying and delicious, rounding out a perfect stay. Highly recommend.

PolandSwimming pool area could be refreshed, and location of the hotel is an issue as it's 20 minutes walking distance from the city centre and there's nothing in the nearby.
We came few hours before the check-in time but we got the key to the room for free, and we got upgraded room with the nice view for the red sea. Personel was helpful and kind. Nice view from the swimming pool area.

United KingdomThe location is a little outside the city centre, with its restaurants and lively streets. It is not far, to walk but you have to climb a hill. At 44 degrees Celsius, this can prove to be challenging. However, you are also close to the Aqaba Fort and a small port for boat tours.
This is a modern hotel with well equipped and clean rooms. The roof terrace, with a small pool, offers views over Aqaba and the sea. There is also a great bar on the ground floor. Staff are very friendly (especially one young man at reception).

United KingdomNothing - For the price it’s really good value
Staff were fantastic. They could not have been more helpful. Mustafa was so obliging & Baraah on reception who arranged so much for us. The staff will help arrange trips to Petra / Wadi Rum and the price was 75% cheaper than some packages. The rooms are very clean and breakfast is decent. For the price it’s a really good option. We would go back. You can walk into the town centre in 15 mins. A taxi will cost 3JD including a tip. Walk in & take a taxi back. The pool is like a plunge pool. It’s small but fine for cooking off in the heat. The bar area on the roof could do with some investment to make it really good but it’s fine and you will be well looked after.

FranceNothing. All of our issues (A/C not functioning to its maximum capacity) were solved by the staff.
Super last minute booking in Aqaba, we were more than pleasantly surprised with the location. Staff is top notch, property is clean and offers great amenities. We asked about getting an early breakfast package for our early flight: they opened the restaurant 1h earlier for us.
