Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Where do we start?! We had a wonderful time at this desert camp. The bedroom tent was comfortable, the bathroom facilities were AMAZING (best we have had in the desert!) and the main group/dining area was beautiful and larrggeee! The location was perfect, with a nice viewpoint to climb up to for sunset. They had many thoughtful touches, with board games and lounge spots, as well as the traditional campfire every night to learn about the Bedouin culture. Oh! And the food?? Fantastic!! Huge shout out to the chef extraordinaire! The full day jeep tour was awesome. Saw a lot of Wadi Rum and had a very nice lunch in a remote place in the desert. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Wadi Rum.

TurkeyThere are many good options to stay in the Wadi Rum desert, from luxurious to modest, but no camp will be like this amazing one! If you want an authentic experience and learn about Bedouin life, you should choose this camp. Mohammed and his cousins are very well-organized. Immediately after the booking, they sent us an information text including all the issues regarding tours and meals. They well-welcomed us at the village. The tents were bigger than the luxury camp where we stayed. They thought of every small detail in tents and bathrooms. You can even find many hangers and shampoo in the bathroom, which did not exist in some luxury camps. All areas were very clean. Plugs are many in the common area; there is no need for power banks. Our guide, Musa, is an excellent driver; we discovered the most beautiful places in the desert. Then, he offered us tea with a fantastic sunset view. There was plenty of water in the jeep. The chef’s meals are perfect. The taste of the meals and options are great! Drinking tea around the fire and speaking about Bedouin traditions and the desert were great! After dinner, they showed us some of the mysterious wildlife aspects of the desert by tracking desert foxes. Most importantly, they really care about their guests' special requests. They organized a surprise birthday party, and it was the most special moment in our lives. I thank you all the people who arranged it. After the birthday party, we spoke about Bedouin life and Wadi Rum; there is no better place to ask your questions about the culture and learn about their life. It was such an incredible and unforgettable experience for us! Next time, I will not spend time finding the correct place to stay at Wadi Rum; I already know where to go.

Czech RepublicEveryrhing was perfect.
The experience was exceptional!! Absolutely the best. Everything was very well organised - they let us park our car at their office in the village, then took us to the camp, brought our luggage to the tent. Then invited us to their tradiotionally prepared dinner and talked about the beduin life by the fire. We did the camel ride and full day jeep tour - our guide Musa was the best, young man with big heart! He did his best to make it unforgettable experience. We had a great lunch in the desert and enjoyed the ride full of adrenalin. Also I have to mention the guy cleaning the camp - he is doing absolutely amazing job, everything was super clean - Our beds, the toilets, the showers. So shout out to him! 👌🏻👏🏻 I truly recommend this company. 🫶🏻The prices are also great, no hidden fees, you know in advance what you will pay, broad offer of activities.

Most things! Organised tours for us, clean shared toilet and showers, dinner cooked traditionally, breakfast was adequate for where we were, great star gazing, staff were high energy and made the experience a lot of fun at night, mostly great english. NetherlandsNothing. Everything was great.
Everything . Our stay could not have been better. It was the best experience we had in Jordan. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The bathroom, despite being shared, was super clean. The food was very good and with plenty of vegetarian options. The chef is very good! It was also my birthday and they organized a party with cake, music and dancing with my family and the rest of the guests. The stay was super enjoyable and comfortable. We did a private half day tour with sunrise and our guide, Abdul, was super friendly and funny. At first we had doubts about where to stay in Wadi Rum, but the truth is that this camp was a very good experience. If we return we would repeat 100%.
