How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

the keycard keeps lagging, the room is small compares to the price, the water pump is weak the toilet.

The room we had had no window which shouldn’t be allowed for safety reasons. It was too hot so the staff brought a fan which was great. However I don’t think there should be no window . The house cleaning were not very clean . The hotel is noisy there is a bar on the roof so on top of us you can hear chairs all night . Also down stairs two bars and clubs so it is very noisy. But you get what you pay for and staff again very friendly and accommodating and nice little breakfast provided to the rooms .
The staff were friendly and accommodating it was okay and good value for money for a 3 star. The staff went above and beyond to do everything to make us happy .

Some tools in the bathroom are broken, window shades also some are broken. and no isolation as noise from outside is clearly heard from the room. Also the elevator is only accessible by code! and room key is sometimes fails to open the room.
The location was very convenient. And the staff was nice.

It’s not like in the photos but it is fine. I give it a 7 The shower is weak, the rest is good.
Good value. There is parking. Close to city center. The staff is so nice. Spacious room.

I need to ask daily the reception to clean my room. Few days they don’t clean my room. Towels are fair.
The room is spacious, the bed is comfortable. WiFi is excellent. Location is good.

The room looked very very outdated, it needed an immediate update! The carpet looked old and the bathroom tiles were a bit cracked. Breakfast is not a buffet, everyday is the same thing! You have no variety whatsoever! It is ‘made’ to order, meaning you’ll have to wait or you should call in advance letting them know you’ll be having breakfast.
It has free parking which is a nice bonus if you rent a car! The Leprechaun (the hotel’s restaurant) has nice food for a decent price.

The room furniture and bathroom facilities were clean but worn out. Breakfast was fine but did not have variety including vegetables, fruits or juice for example.
Staff was nice. Hotel is close to Lweibdeh area where there are nice restaurants. It’s also a few minutes drive from Rainbow Street and Downtown.

Way too much light in the morning and impossible to sleep as you’d wake up at 5AM. Blackout curtains were shorter on both ends so didn’t cover the entire window and allowed for sunlight to come in.

The room was quite smoking (possibly my fault for not clearly requesting a no smoking room).
Great location close to The Boulevard and Abdali mall, although walking to these lications requires crossing two very busy large main roads. Staff were really welcoming and friendly, they helped with my bags. The bed was large and comfortable, and good facilities for coffee/tea, toiletries etc. Great value for money if you are just looking fkr somewhere to rest your head at night.

Nothing the staff they have is excellent
Nice hotel with potential of upgrading The service was excellent and special. Very clean . Smell always good. They don't serve buffet breakfast but they can offer breakfast to ur room staff is positive and very lovely .had problem at first night with Internet and breakfast but staff was so helpful and kind to fix antg we need always in smiles and nice reverence .welcoming hotel with 2 bars preferable for young travellers
