A really homely vibe and the reception staff on arrival was so kind! He even gave me the last 0.10 dinar I needed to pay our cab - not allowing me to pay him back. We stayed again later in the week we enjoyed it so much .

Abed - the staff is just mindblowingly helpful. Fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, terrace with magnificent view of Jordan valley. Sunsets at the terrace are wow! Bathroom and entire facility is cleaned everyday by the maids.

Fabulous! Easily one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in globally - great value for money. - great decor and very tastefully done - the hostel has a lovely terrace garden overlooking the city of Amman with a fantastic view; lots of community activity and games areas as well as calm retreat areas to read or relax; from the get go, loved it. - ⁠staff - abed is exceptional in welcoming and helped with info about tours. Abed goes out of your way to help you with just about every thing making you feel you re home, not at a hostel. My pick up was late from the airport so they made up for it by offering it for free. - ⁠ great location - 10 mins walk downtown and 15 mins walk to the amphithéâtre and citadel. - ⁠you can take an Uber back to the hostel from downtown if you don’t wish to climb up the hill back to the hostel and costs just 1.5 JOD. - ⁠the dorm beds were comfy with power sockets, light and a rack to keep specs etc at night. Also a hanger shelf with hooks (thoughtful).

Everything about Carob was amazing. Helpful staff, clean rooms and washrooms, hygienic and tasty vegan food, amazing tour offers. Woukd definitely recommend staying at Carob to anyone visiting Amman.

The mattress was a little soft but not a major issue.

Staff was really helpful and accommodating. I arrived around 2am and had sent me video instructions on how to check in after hours which was easy to follow. They serve a vegetarian breakfast. I thought it was a really good value for 5 JOD. It's also quite a large serving.

I felt at home, very welcome!! The staff is so smart and gentle and helpfull!!! Flexible when changing plans. Wonderful terrace on top with lounge options. I had such nice meetings with other guests, the environment is inviting.

Nothing. Restaurant at the hostel is a bit expensive but they also recommend good restaurants near by. So, it’s not a problem per se.

Hands down the best hostel I have ever been. I have never come across a more helpful staff at a hostel. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get the name of the spanish volunteer at the reception. But he was very helpful. He gave me almost an hour for bookings and itinerary. Common area is huge and amazing. Good vibe. We even had a weekly hostel dinner (for free). Highly recommended. Would also recommend it for staycation folks. Perfect place to work from and do your meetings.

Climbing into the top bed was very difficult because the ladder was positioned vertically, not at an angle.

The staff at Carob were extremely helpful, providing abundant information and tips for navigating Jordan on a budget. I'm very glad I chose to stay at Carob at the start of my Jordan trip. I received all the necessary advice to travel throughout the country efficiently while avoiding unnecessary expenses.

The showers could use a bit of cleaning and the road in front of the apartment is very busy in the morning so parking might be a bit harder than we expected.

The staff was very friendly and gave us great tips that made our stay in Amman great! Room was nice and spacious. We really enjoyed the common areas with amazing views. There is also free water refill station and tea which was nice :)

Flawless stay. From the lovely personnel to the cleanliness of the dorms everything was sheer perfection. Make sure to book their amazing trips to Petra and Wadi Rum, they're a bargain for the amount of kms and food you're gonna get. Firas is the coolest and funniest tour guide ever.

For us the beds were a little hard and the pillows were very flat however we asked for another pillow the next day and this did help with the comfort. Quite a steep walk back to the hostel haha

We liked the amenities, the set up was very good and was quiet at night. Cafe very nice, air con in the room worked very well and overall very comfortable stay in a hostel. The gentleman man in the morning behind the desk very friendly and welcoming and gave great advice

Cleaning of the bathroom wasn’t very thoroughly.

Lovely people running this place. Great room with curtains and duvets. Hot shower and good water pressure. Outdoor area is inviting and hangers for clothes to dry. Usually I stay away from water dispenser as I am always get sick but they have the airport ones, which is pretty cool.

I liked everything. Easily one of the best hostels I have been to.

Good coffee. Nice terrace with a "greenhouse". Cute cat. Good shisha. Great breakfast. They accept credit cards. Even the dorms offer privacy, the room was quiet, everyone was respectful. Overall, a good mix of privacy and community feel.

Nothing it was great !

Very social hostel with a lot of events going on , seemed like it was easy to book things for the rest of the country with plenty of info on how to organise with others. Definitely the best one for meeting people and chatting ! Great terrace also.
