Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyLovely 💙
Really charming camp. We enjoyed our stay a lot..The dinner was delicious..and we had a child with us..they took great care of him and gave us boiled hot water..at night they ran out of milk and they brought it..Hashem the owner of the camp was hospitable..the staff was friendly..the camp site is also charming ..They were very patient with us due to the many questions, and he answered with open arms..The camp recommended that we take a 6-hour jeep trip, which was very wonderful..I highly recommend it. We also had lunch during the tour because it is a long time and one must eat..I consider it an experience of a lifetime..i.e. For someone trying to enjoy visiting Wadi Rum, I highly recommend this camp..I repeat my thanks and appreciation to all the staff.🙈🙈🙈🙈💙

ItalyAmazing for all.
Loved this place - the staff were incredibly helpful, picked us up as soon as we arrived and took us on a tour around 5 hours .it was great. They provided great vegetarian food for dinner and breakfast, and unlimited refills of tea. They were very friendly and kept the place incredibly clean, and it was nice having a fully functioning toilet and warm shower in the desert! Would definitely recommend.

ItalyThe room is basic but has all you need including electricity, wifi and ac. Good value for the price, it's outside the protected area and you can drive there if you have your own car
Hasem gave us a wonderful tour in a less visited part of the desert, he was just fantastic, funny and knowledgeable. We have a 2yo baby and she loved Hasem as well. Super recommended

Great camp in a brilliant location. The whole team was very helpful in arranging logistics, as well as any add-ons (Jeep tour at sunset, which is well worth doing). ItalyStayed here in December, and had the best experience. I cannot recommend this place enough. I heard about it from a local, and their recommendation was spot on. The friendliest staff and incredibly accommodating. The food is amazing, warm showers, and clean rooms. The camp is run by beduins who stick to their traditions and will give you the most genuine experience. From sharing tea and a shisha by the fire, to telling you all about their history and traditions. Besides the camp, the highlights were the hike to burda Bridge, star gazing and the four hours jeep tour.

United States nothing - it was beyond my expectations
Staff were amazing, transparent and so kind. When we made the booking, we instantly got a price list for food and activities. We did the 6 hour jeep tour with hashem and have a lunch in heart of desert it was really amazing. After that ride a camel. We ended at sunset and rather than take us to the main sunset spot, they took us to one dune over so we got the same view without the crowds. We did all the other regular stops. The dinner was really good and they had loads. The view was amazing and the bed was really comfortable. We had a balcony that was nice and relaxing. The room was spacious and both the room and bathroom were really clean despite being in the desert.

Australia Everything was perfect!
Our stay at the Hashem Tours and Camping was even better than we expected. We experienced a very authentic bedouin evening in the middle of Wadi Rum, with great food, music and atmosphere. Hashem and colleagues were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home during the whole stay. We had dinner, breakfast and lunch there and it was one of the best meals we had in Jordan so far. The tours provided by the camp were diverse and immersive, we would recommend taking one of them at least if you stay there. We would definitely recommend to stay here to anyone traveling to Jordan and looking to experience the real Wadi Rum!

AustraliaWe arrived at the camp just in time for dinner, which was simply superb as an introduction to Jordanian food. The variety on offer was fantastic, as was the quality. For my wife and I, food is always a big part of any holiday, so we have to say a big thanks to hashem Camp for putting on such a great spread and allowing us to sample the buffet at our own pace. Like everyone else we primarily went to Wadi Rum for the scenery and ended up opting for the 6 hour tour with a young guy called hashem who turned out to be informative and intuitive, mixed in with a bit of fun – Wadi Rum was amazing and I would recommend spending at least 4 hrs on tour to see all the main sights. We opted to stay in one of the Luxury Panoramic tents just because we'd never stayed in anything like it. The bed was very comfortable and the shower etc was all good, but the real selling point is looking up at the stars at night and watching the sunrise on the mountains opposite the camp.

AustraliaWe expected a property ( hotel, guesthouse, etc as we book via booking.com) however this is a tour guide person who accommodates in properties against commission. The pictures of the room we booked were bubble tent with 360 degrees view , when we arrived we were told these properties cost 10 times more and we were places in a normal tent, so pictures of the rooms the guide offers must be updated to correspond with the truth people book. The 2h tour we had was priced 50JD while normal price is 25-35 JD, so we got the im pression if we don't book the tour at this price the tent reservation will be cancelled and we will be left in the middle of the desert with no accommodation.
The guide was helpful and was very polite and respectful.
