1 Toilet is too small for 8 people dorm. But you get what you pay for; which is a great value for money.

Staff were amazing specially Hakam, Marah and Farah. The rooms were spacious and bed was comfortable. and the roof is a great place to hangout and have a look at the city view. they also organise trips around jordan which is so conveniant if planning to stay just a few days in the country.

Alright, one small omission: no hooks in shower.

Very simple. Anyone thinking of opening a proper hostel or improving a current one should visit Battuta and stay a night or two to see how it’s done.

There’s no reception 24 hours.

The hostel is conveniently situated near everything yet far from the hustle and bustle. The place is cozy and well-equipped with everything you need. It's exceptionally clean.

I have stayed at Battuta before and this time was no less of a great experience. The staff are incredibly nice, the place is clean and the whole experience is really different from any other hostel I have stayed at. The location is great too, I would definitely recommend it.

The price for using the washer is a bit high (5JD per wash) and there was not enough space to hang dry clothes. I think the breakfast should include more bread, but thank you for giving me more bread when I asked ☺︎

The staff is really friendly and they will take care of any issues to make sure you're comfortable. There is a workspace with a really nice view of Amman. You can find good Shawarma and Kebab just up the street, at the circle. And it's a 20-minute walk to Rainbow Street ☺︎ They organize many events at the hostel and plan day trips, so I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to meet other travelers.

The overall property is exceptional, staff are amazing, especially the reception ones. The room and bath are super clean and everything on point. Finally the dreamy rooftops, is something else, by how fascinating it was.

Everything! The hostel is like a boutique hotel. everything is beautiful and neat. Everywhere is sweat clean. In the evenings, you can watch a movie together on the big screen.

The hostel provides for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay in Amman. The personnel are very friendly and helpful, just like the fellow travellers you meet here. Apart from the nice company, I also had a really good nights sleep. Definently enjoyed the ping pong tournament on the rooftop as well (even though I didn't win:(). Would 100% recommend!

Only minor suggestion is to perhaps add light background music on the rooftop to enhance the vibe. Otherwise this hostel is a no brainier when 1st visiting Amman.

Very well managed hostel. The staff members were A+ especially Marah (her check-in procedure was on par with the service you'd expect at a 5 star hotel). Great location in safe neighborhood, nearby 2nd circle which has two incredible shawarma spots, convenience store, currency exchange, and an Irish pub nearby. 15min walk downhill to rainbow street and Uber is super cheap in Amman if going anywhere else or want a ride back (only $2 USD 🚕). Everything (kitchen / toilets / common area) was clean and tidy. Dorms are comfy and spacious. Awesome roof terrace and view. Definitely would recommend staying here! I didn't use their tours (already had planned to use Jett bus & free walking tour of downtown), but it was super nice they offered them and the activities/meals to bring travelers together.
