Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

JordanThe location is amazing. I've been to 5 camps in wadi Rum and this one by far has the best scenery and quiet location.

United KingdomNothing, but worth noting that the meeting spot is the petrol station close by, where you can park safely and the host will collect you https://maps.app.goo.gl/Dmv3eHFJyxdsWSNN6
Incredible wadi rum experience with Ammar rum. I arrived at 3pm ish and they facilitated a great shorter 3-4 hour desert tour and sunset. The rooms are awesome, the common room and food was great (traditional meal 10dinar) as was the shisha (5dinar) There's a hill right next to the camp, as well as camels wandering about which made for a great sunset and photo opportunity

NorwayThis was our favourite stay in Jordan. We did the 4 hour jeep tour - highly recommend, a magic experience with our friendly guide. Kayed and his brother offered great hospitality, and we loved the dinner made by Ibrahim. We woke up to a stunning view of the desert and camels outside our bedroom. Kayed helped us with transport back to Petra from Wadi Rum. We would come back here next time in Wadi Rum.

FranceNothing.
We had the most beautiful stay at Kayed and his brother camp. It was just a dream. The bubble, the view, the scenery, the sunrise & sunset, the jeep tour. Everything felt like a dream and I am so thankful for each moment we spend there. It's a real paradise on Earth and I still can't believe I had the chance to live that.

NetherlandsEverything was near perfection. If I could add couple of points of improvement: - Would've been nice to have hand soap and towels in the bathroom. - Wifi only works in the dining / common area and not in the room.
The best part of this camp was the owner and our guide Kayed. He made the whole trip amazing for us and helped us beyond the trip as well. We took the 4 hour jeep tour with our toddler and Kayed showed us everything in person and also took great pictures. Camp was located at an isolated spot overlooking the highest mountain in Wadi Rum right from the room and no other camps in sight. Room was comfortable enough to spend the night with our 2 year old baby. The buffet food was delicious and plentiful and breakfast was great too. For those wondering about prices for extras: - 65 JOD for the 4 hour jeep tour (Highly recommended) - 10 pp for buffet dinner with variety of food options (really delicious) - 5 JOD for shisha Free breakfast was included and mineral water / coffee tea was always available for free. Communication was fast and effective via whatsapp and we were picked up from Wadi Rum Tourist Info center and taken to the camp. If you are by car, you can park the car at the petrol station and it was a safe spot to leave the car.

United Arab EmiratesToilet seat was loose moving around its supports freely. Kindly resolve this for future customers.
Amazing host, the host gave personal attention throughout, the care taker very good, clean room, clean bed linen, room size good. The desert tour was excellent, covered all attractions in 4 Hrs by host himself. Dinner was cooked underground, the method was shown to guests, the dinner was finger licking delicious. The breakfast was simple but well arranged and tasty. The sunset view from the camp was excellent , we preferred that than going to any other far locations. Sun rise also we say from the rock just next to the camp. Lights, plug outlets available all time, room heaters available only for an hour in the night when they switch on diesel generator, it is very much appreciated move as we could easily manage with thick blankets and any action to reduce carbon footprint was welcome during manageable weather. Overall it’s an excellent stay, from a desert camp point of view.

Portugal- Extremely expensive tent - we booked specifically to be able to see the stars from inside the room but the tent is directly faced the highway that is iluminated by night so there was too much clarity to watch the stars from inside! Very disapointing :( - Could not turn the air conditioning during the day so it was impossible to enjoy the room because of the heat - The amenities description on booking is completly wrong: the room ofered two minimal towels, no hot water… - Construction works noise just outside our tent since 8am - In the end it was very weird because first they said could accept Visa, then they could (?) - sad experience in the tent
- Good jipe tour and very nice driver - Good traditional dinner - Clean room - Good sunrise if going up a rock
