Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FranceI recently spent three days at this hotel with friends, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, with special mentions to Christine, Chef Mama, and Chef Ali for their exceptional service. The breakfast offered a variety of delicious options each morning, setting a positive tone for our days. Our room was clean and comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after exploring the city. One of the highlights of our stay was the hotel's location in وسط البلد (downtown), which allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the vibrant atmosphere of Amman. We were so happy to be in the midst of such a lively and culturally rich area. Overall, our stay was wonderful, and we look forward to returning on our next visit to Amman. Highly recommended!

RussiaNear the street, a bit noisy (but that the normal downside to be in the center).
Not a « wahou » hotel but an hotel in a very good location and a good value for the price.

EgyptThe room was very basic. A wardrobe with a safety deposit box would have been helpful. Also a lack of plug sockets near the mirror for hair appliances (although a hair dryer was provided in the bathroom). The towels were a little old and sometimes slightly rough but not a huge problem.
The staff were very friendly (including the kitchen staff). There was a small menu available for food during the day and the food was very nice. The location was excellent, just across from the Roman Theatre and close to the Citadel. There are coffee shops and cafes very close to the hotel. We asked for a quiet room which was good as the road in front of the hotel can be busy (and therefore noisy). The room was cleaned each day and tea/coffee/water/juice was available free of charge from the reception area all day. The breakfast options were small in number but nice. The shower was a good size and toiletries were provided.

SpainThe facilities are bit dated and the room had a little musty smell, perhaps due to lack of ventilation. However, I'd stay there again for its incredible value.
The staff, every single person in the staff was amazing. Especially Kristin, who was the first one to welcome us well into the night when we first arrived and made us feel like at home. The location is very peaceful, right across the street from a public parking and the roman amphitheater, and only 10 minute walk from the main street. Lastly their rooftop is a fantastic place to enjoy the sunset.

LebanonGreat location, waliking distance from all the main attractions in downtown. The bedroom is comfortable, very good breakfast (especially in comparison with food elsewhere in Jordan touristic places, which I did not like much), very cool rooftop whit great view of the Roman theater.

IndiaIt's just that the rooms aren't soundproof, so we could hear people coming in or out of their rooms late at night. And at times, could hear a baby crying or kids making noises. It's just part and parcel of a hotel stay I suppose.
The cosy room, and spotlessly clean bathroom was very good. The breakfast provided was deliciously good!

United KingdomThe road in front of the hotel is very busy most of the day so you need to accept lots of noise when you walk to and from the hotel (it's ok when you are in your room though as it has double glazing).
The location is great at walking distance to the Citadel, Souq, and Roman Theatre; however the price to pay for this is accepting the chaos of that area of Amman, with heavy traffic, noise and pollution. There is a large free parking just in front of the hotel at 2 minutes walk. Free drinks and coffee are provided to all guests, which was great! Room size was just right for us (2 adults and 1 child). Good level of cleaniness. Staff was very kind and efficient. Payment in cash. Finally the breakfast was the main strength of this hotel.

CanadaRooms are dated with basic features. Good for one night stay but that's expected for the price we paid.
Staff was super nice and let us check in early after red eye flight (but with lower room category than what we paid & booked). The location is excellent with walking distance to Citadel and opposite to the Roman Theatre.

South AfricaThe bathroom was the only thing I didn't love. It had a sliding door that didn't close properly so it wasn't entirely private.
Wonderful location. We checked in at 4.30am, and Christine was fantastic during the check-in process. We easily found parking next to the hotel, and our car remained safe for the duration of the trip. We had a comfortable room on the 4th floor, with a balcony overlooking the Roman theatre, and while on a busy street, our room was quiet at night. The breakfast was delicious!

Good location for visiting north of the country. Amman itself is an experience. The hotel is right for getting into the hub of Downtown Amman. The rooftop is fab for taking in the view of the traffic and observing all the nightlife around the Roman theatre and local park. The Citadel is right above the hotel. The rooms are spacious but basic. Clean and comfortable. All you need is a comfy bed ! The staff are welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is exceptional. A variety of Jordanian delights and the 2 team, sorry I can’t remember their names, but a lovely lady who will cook a fab omelette and her lovely soux chef is so helpful too. Overall a lovely stay in Downtown Amman.

United StatesThe shower is a bit on the smaller side, so be aware of that. Also in mind that Amman is a busy city, so you will probably hear noise coming from the street throughout the night. We were told during booking that we could pay for the hotel with card but upon arrival we were asked to pay in cash. It was only a small inconvenience but something to be aware of.
We would definitely stay at this hotel again the next time we’re in Amman. The location is GREAT– it’s just across the street from the Roman theater and is basically within 15 minutes walking distance to all of the major tourist sites & restaurants. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and our room had a mini fridge, TV with English- language news channel, and a small balcony overlooking the city + the Roman theater. The staff here were very helpful, and the hotel offers help with a lot of things you might need if you’ve just arrived in Jordan (the front desk has SIM cards, express laundry service, and more available for purchase.) We are especially thankful to Chef mama for the amazing breakfast spread & delicious homemade omelettes and desserts.
