Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

JordanI checked 2 rooms. They were dirty.. Full of dust. Very bad air conditions. Pillows are not comfortable. One of the rooms was zero facilitate (tissues, shampoos... Etc). Beds and covers were having a lot of dirty dots. It was unbelievable stay.
Nothing good. I don't know who classify this "Hotel" as a 4 stars hotel. It's 2 stars maximum.

United KingdomSuch a disappointing experience, the only nice thing about this hotel is the lobby. The rooms look good in photos but once you get there, it's a different story. The bathrooms are disgusting, so are the wardrobes. We had no toilet paper, one of the "clean" towels was still wet and the actual shower was coming off the wall. Head up to the rooftop terrace they said.... well, it would be nice to have some chairs to sit on. They were all broken, the swing cushion were mouldy and the tables had cigarette burn marks. We've been asked about our stay at the check out and when we explained what the issues were, all we had was a brief apology and a smile. Please save your money and go elsewhere, there are some beautiful hotels around, this one just looks good in photos, it's a turd polished in gold.

FranceThe pool was dirty, the breakfast is really mediocre. Not even real cups for hot drinks, no fruits, the food available no very nice. The rooms were just not clean, full ashtray on bedside table… and location isn’t central, 20min walk. Value for money is just very bad, we found something much better and much cheaper for the rest of our stay.
The lobby is very nice and so is the view from the top floor!

HungaryDespite how modern and new the hotel appeared, it was quite run-down. The bathroom was very small, the shower drain was completely clogged, causing water to overflow from the shower tray even during a short shower, and the shower glass seal was worn out, allowing water to leak from everywhere. There's only one elevator in the entire hotel, which has a lot of rooms. It can take up to 10 minutes just to get to breakfast or your room. The bedding had cigarette burns in several places, which also left an unpleasant impression.
The hotel's location is excellent, and compared to the other Jordanian hotels, the breakfast here was the most delicious. Parking in front of the hotel was well-organized. The beds were comfortable as well.

United KingdomWe only stayed for a night at this hotel and it was enough to ruin an amazing week in Jordan. We got robbed cash from our room. Within half an hour of checking in, we left our stuff in the room including a pile of cash on the table not expecting anyone to go into the room as it was a 1-night stay. We went up to the pool, but as there were no towels there I went down to the immediately and caught the cleaner pretending to drop some water at the room but standing by the money. This same guy had helped us with the elevator passcode and knew we were going to the rooftop pool. We only realised the cash missing the morning after and obviously the hotel denied it. He took 100 euros out of ~400 to avoid the suspicion probably. If I hadn’t caught him, he would’ve probably taken more jewelry and valuables. There is no safe in the rooms, and the hotel is totally unsafe in general. For the first time in Jordan, we came across male staff that sat down and watched 2 women struggle to take down suitcases and did nothing. I would’ve tipped them for the help anyways, but esp for women and families, this hotel is a total fiasco
The woman at the reception was the only person that tried to help us but obviously didn’t do much.

ItalyAs I said the hotel is very impactful at first site, but then scractched the surface you see the details that are not refined. The baddest experience we had were in the bathroom and in the pool on the rooftop. The shower in the bathroom was very bad, the shower head was mounted over a metal bar to put in secure the protecting glass of the bathroom (photos attached) so the water was beating over the metal bar flooding all the bathroom, we only had one towel each and there was no little carpet to put near the bathroom to at least stop the water for coming out. So doing a shower oblige you to stay all night with a wet floor with stagnating humidity. The pool on rooftop was very beautiful and the view is so pretty. But near the pool in a column a family of pigeons put its nest there, so for all the time we have been there pigeons were flying over your head doing feces at the side of the pool and flying down to drink directly the pool water. That is very anti-hygienic and a nightmare for whom, like my partner are fobic about pigeons, we chose the hotel for the pool and we couldn't practically use it.
The impact of the hotel is very nice. The hall is very impactful and the reception staff is very nice and professional. Bed are comfy and room is pretty spacious. The breakfast was fine with a nice variety. The hotel is pretty central in Aqaba and quite comfortable to go everywhere you need and it's very easy to park the car there.

ItalyThe room wasn't ready at the momento of the checkin and we had to wait almost 1 hour in the hall. After 1 hour we went in the room and there was a lady that was still "cleaning" the room: "cleaning" isn't the right word because the room wasn't clean. Also the breakfast wasn't good, we hadn't enough towels and toilet paper in the room, the fridge didn't work.

United KingdomThe pool area and bar were really nice although the pool and pool area had some loose tiles and uneven surfaces which could cause an injury. There were several issues with things not working or missing from our room but these were sorted following complaints. The water and electricity cut out on a few occasions but it was only temporary. The internet was very poor in our room and in the pool area. Breakfast was good.

JordanThe open buffet required more care but it was neglected by the staff, crumbs were everywhere, it lacked cleanliness. The rooms in reality didn’t match what was posted on booking.com, there was a divider partition in the middle of the room which lift a part of it cold and the other hot. Even the fire alarm device was removed from the ceiling, makes you wonder about the level of safety in the room. The staff asked for our phone numbers to put a review and the rate the property on our behalf so they can give it a high score, 10 out of 10 as the receptionist told us. I don’t want to bash the hotel, and I understand that I’m not going to have a 5 star experience for the money that I’m paying so I wanted the review to be as fair as possible.
The price was reasonable, and the location was good
