Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

BelgiumIncredible location, pictures won’t ever do it justice. The chef is a very talented and sweet boy who always takes care of us and makes the best baklava ever. Both brothers were sweet and helpful at all times and shared really amazing parts of their culture with us (they even prepared fireworks as a surprise for new years). PRO TIP: If you want to take the keep your - we recommend the full day one, because the shorter ones (like 4h) take you only to the main attractions, so the 10h can take you to lesser visited places and in low season you can have incredible locations for yourself. Also you get to see an amazing sunset at the desert. PRO TIP #2: If possible, stay more than one night, there is a lot to see.

United KingdomA luxury camp with a reasonable price tag. We stayed in a private cabin with a comfortable double bed, electricity and an ensuite. Sayed served great local food for breakfast, lunch and dinner which was some of the best we had in Jordan. We booked a half-day tour through the camp with Ali who had a great sense of humour and was very knowledgeable about what’s best to see. We loved learning about the local culture from him.

SpainStaying at Milky Way camp has been one of the best things about our trip. The facilities are magnificent, the store, the beds, the bathroom and the cleanliness are perfect. Dinner was incredible, delicious. Prepared in the traditional style. Personally thank Freid for the good times and laughter and Said for his incredible food and attention. Unrepeatable. We never saw the sky and the stars like we saw there. Thank you We will be back

United StatesThe location was stunning, as was the personalised attention to detail and the overall experience. While there are likely more "luxurious" camps to stay in Wadi Rum, we preferred to have a more personalised and authentic experience that Milky Way provided. Our guide Faraj was excellent and very helpful to ensure that we had the experience that we came for in experience and exploring the desert. The food was excellent, with a great selection including for vegetarians; kudos to the chef for his excellent cooking as well as ensuring our comfortable stay! We enjoyed the tent, and the location could not have been more perfect. As a side note, this is the first time I actually enjoyed a camel ride -- the animals appeared to be well treated and the scenery was magnificent. Highly recommend for a wonderful and memorable visit to beautiful Wadi Rum!

If I could give this place a 100/10 I would! Absolutely loved our stay here! The staff were so kind and caring, we arrived ill from Petra and the Milky Way staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We did an hour Camel Ride and a 4 hour Jeep Ride, both were great but the jeep was our favourite. Beautiful views and stops along the way. I don't remember the guides name but he was hilarious and you could tell he really loved the area. The room is very comfortable with plenty of space, a huge bathroom and the big window means you can lay in bed with the perfect viewpoint over the valley. The food is awesome and there is so much of it! I can't recommend this camp enough

United KingdomNo fan in room, would have been helpful in the summer.
Great balance of comfort & authenticity. Beds were comfortable, food was good. Our driver was great, very friendly & showed us lots of places we could get some great pics that weren’t full of tourists. We did a 4-5 hour 4x4 ride in the later afternoon & a 1 hour camel trek the next morning.

United KingdomIf you go with the expectation that it’ll be a fantastic hotel, you’ll be disappointed - think of it instead as very upgraded camping. That said, we couldn’t get the hot water to work, and the room and bathroom could have been much cleaner. Bring your own towel and soaps!! I’ll also advise that anyone coming enquire at the visitors centre at the entrance of Wadi Rum for checking activities and prices, and potentially to book, as if you book through ANY camp in the desert, they will set their own prices.
The view was incredible, the hospitality of the staff and attitude towards guests was very welcoming. The dinner and breakfast were both great, a diverse range of dishes and food items. There was also dancing after dinner, which is more fun the more enthusiastic and involved everyone is!

United KingdomThe room and bathroom wasn't the cleanest, but the linen and towels were fresh which is the most important thing.
The view from the room was amazing. We did a full day jeep tour with Aithe, he was great and even took us to his family camp in the desert where we got to meet his baby camels and goats. The food was also great, loads of option.

Romania-
We booked a family room with private bathroom and everything was above expectations. The dinner was delicious, they cooked chicken with vegatables in a traditional way, under the sand, they showed us how and it was amazing. The view is fantastic, and the area is beyond words. We also booked the 4 hours jeep tour that ended watching the sunset in the desert by the fire while being served with bedouin tea and cookies. They took care of everything, from picking us up from the meeting place to making our stay memorable.

FranceThe welcome was perfect! People of extreme kindness and the experience incredible (probably the best of our entire life). What was offered to us exceeded all our expectations. I recommend the visit, the accommodation and also the meal on site (it is totally exotic and changes us from our Western habits). Our guide, as well as the Milky Way team were great and the program affordable and full of surprises. I recommend to anyone who wants to experience a new adventure!! It is an incredible experience and these people are generous and likes to make you enjoy the moment. Thanks again for everything ! Lou & Etienne
