Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomWe need to check the sky charts for when we next visit, it was a full moon so our stargazing was a little limited - definitely not something the camp could do anything about though!
The welcome we received at Wadi Rum Panorama was friendly and hospitable and set the tone for a great stay. The camp liaised with our driver to arrange a pick up which was prompt. On arriving at the camp we could see the care the owners put into making it a great experience for their guests. Set away from other camps, the rooms are set in a courtyard - lovely big windows look out on to the desert. We arranged a jeep tour onsite and had a thorough trip around the key parts of the protected area, finishing with a stop to watch the sunset. We were impressed with the camp's facilities - all rooms had air con/fan and toilet/shower room. There was some building work as there are new pods being built but this didn't affect our stay. Although we were the only guests, we never felt hurried or an inconvenience. The food at dinner and breakfast was delicious and plentiful - we could have eaten buckets of the rice! All in all we had a brilliant time in a lovely place with people who genuinely cared about making us feel welcome and part of their 'family'. We'd love to return in the future!

United KingdomEverything was to a really good standard - we had a great time.
Our stay at the Panorama Wadi Rum exceeded all expectations. We were met by the friendly staff and taken directly to the camp before setting off on a 2 hour sunset tour of Wadi Rum. In the evening, the staff prepared a fantastic meal and hosted us really well. The evening was topped off with the staff presenting my wife with a surprise birthday cake and a rendition of 'Happy Birthday'. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend staying at this wonderful camp to future visitors.

ItalyHani and his brother were very nice and kind. They were ready to meet all of our needs, such as taking us back to the main road for us to leave extremely early in the morning (giving us also some delicious breakfast to take away). We recommend the 4h jeep tour and the local dinner, that was amazing!

Hani was an excellent host. Really helpful and welcoming. He picked us up at the car park and took us to the camp. I realized I had left something behind in the car, and he organised for it to be picked up and brought back to the camp. Nothing was any problems for him. All the family and staff were also very friendly and helpful. The jeep rides were fantastic and we enjoyed them immensely. The tent was spacious, and the panorama room looked out towards the desert and mountains. Food was great, especially the Traditional Bedouin Meal, there was plenty of food and we certainly did not go hungry! Thanks Hani, we will always remember our time we spent in the desert of Wadi Rum and our camp experiences.

NetherlandsThere’s just nothing to complain about really, it’s exactly what it says it is so if that’s what you’re looking for you’ll find it here.
Our stomachs were having a hard time but the good care here (we loved Hani too) made our stay amazing anyway! It felt luxurious here. Competing for the best food we’ve had in Jordan (which is high praise indeed)! The Mountain View from our room was spectacular and we had many laughs with Ali on the Jeep tour, something you just can’t miss in Wadi Rum.

PortugalThe shower only worked with cold water, we didn't have hot water. It didn't really affect our trip, but it's worth mentioning so it can be fixed.
The space is spectacular and the staff very friendly. They do everything they can to make sure we have a pleasant experience. Dinner was so good! After dinner there's dancing and socializing so that we have as authentic experience as possible.

United KingdomThe fact we had to leave the next morning. The host and the place is amazing, stay more nights and ejnoy the vibe.
The place sits the highest point of the valley. If you look into one direction you will see the lower points of the valley with some other camps. If you look to the other direction, you will see the desert with the mountains (make sure you book a desert looking room) - the view is amazing. The room comes with a comfy bed and own bathroom - and aircon. Hosts were friendly - they treated us like family. They have a main room for breakfast or dinner - furnished in traditional bedouin style. Try the bedouin dinner - it was delicious! You can pick different starters like houmous and pita bread, tomato salad, you can try the grilled potato and chicken, there is a wide selection, you will find what you like. And if you looking for fun, definitely try the jeep tour! They will take you out into the desert showing you around. You might be afraid sitting on the back of a pickup truck but don't worry, you are in safe hands!
