How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It was an amazing experience! Very welcoming staff, the food was delicious, the Jeep safari trips were breathtaking with amazing landscapes, the camel ride to a place where we watched the sunset was also amazing. Last but not least the room was beautiful, with a big window that gives you the impression you are sleeping in the open desert under the sky full of stars but with the comfort of a very large bed! Thank you so much for this wonderful experience! We will come back soon

The attentive staff went above and beyond, ensuring every moment was perfect. From the really good cuisine to the breathtaking sunset views, this hotel is an absolute must-visit for those seeking a refined desert retreat !!! One of the best stays I have had. Everything is wonderful and beautiful. The food is delicious. The rooms are clean. The treatment is wonderful. We found our second family in the camp. They were very kind to us. Basel was nothing but wonderful. The tour inside the desert was very beautiful. I loved it. We were feeling sad when leaving. We did not want to leave, but we will come back.

It was a wonderful and extremely beautiful stay. We booked the bubble. It was beautiful. The landscape in front of the room was very beautiful. A refreshing room. And the beauty exceeded the delicious food. And let us not forget our leader,Basel, for his amazing reception. He embarrassed us with his beautiful treatment. He took us the next day on a 6-hour safari tour inside the desert with lunch. I don’t know. How can I describe the stay, but it will be unforgettable.

It was a very nice stay. We had a lot of fun. Thank you to the staff. They were very friendly and helpful. The tent was very beautiful and clean. It had a wonderful view of the desert. We went on the jeep beach inside the desert for 4 hours. It was very beautiful.

Wow, it was incredible sleeping and waking up with the amazing view to the Wadi Rum desert that Maria Luxury camp offer us, the dinner food is amazing! Everything was fine, everyone in the hotel is so nice especially Mohammad, we did both tours with him and he’s so funny, respectful and shared with us a lot of things, we learned a lot. If I come back to Jordan for sure I will stay again with them.

+ + It was a wonderful experience for us in Wadi Rum, and the camp was very beautiful. Bassel took us on a jeep tour into the beautiful desert. There was a beautiful evening after dinner with the Bedouins. Thank you, Bassel. We will definitely come back again.

Excellent and I recommend it + Thank you Basel for everything The room was well organized and air conditioned, the location is great and the hotel management is very organized, the suite had a romantic atmosphere for two couples, a night of a lifetime and a fantastic time. The food is excellent, and the evening is very wonderful I recommend a long jeep trip to the amazing desert that you do not feel from its beauty and charm A unique experience We will be back one day for sure Thank you Basel for everything great and outstanding host 🙏🏻

The camp was perfect. We received a warm welcome from the staff and Arabic tea was served. We were lucky to get a promotion to one of the tents. Employees can’t be more useful and kind. Prepare food for us to take with us during the pocket tour and also breakfast prepared the next day with a huge spread of food! We'll definitely be back!

+ – I enjoyed staying in the camp. The bubble tent was big and comftorble for sleeping.Inside there was a/c. The dinner zarb which they prepered was very tasty, the private tour they give is very informative we stoped at two stops where they served you tea complimentary.
