Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesI kept comparing this facility with a Berber camp we stayed at in Morocco. In comparison, this facility was a bit stark. Functionally, though, it was perfect.
The food was terrific; we don't usually like buffets, but this one was copious and well-done. The room we had was an upgrade, because the front desk couldn't find our reservation. It was very comfortable, though with the desert location, it would have been hard to keep the rooms completely sand free, which it wasn't. The staff was courteous and helpful, though not particulary friendly.

ItalyThe Bubble was unfortunately very cold and sleeping was also an experience in itself.
The kindness of the staff, the Bubble immersed in a dreamlike scenario, the abundant and excellent meals, cleanliness and order.

CanadaThe property is not actually in the Wadi Rum protected area as I was lead to believe. Internet didn’t work.
Wonderful hosts, especially Osama who organized all of our expeditions. Nice pool - very refreshing in the heat of the desert. Good food. Staff went out of their way to make our stay very special and we appreciated their efforts.

LebanonThe camp next door was very noisy.
The camp site is nice and clean. We got an upgrade to a very nice and spacious room. If you're looking for a desert feel though you might not get it there. You don't have a view over the desert, it's more between rocky mountains, The pool was clean and super nice, at night it was very pleasant to sit around it. Food was excellent, very varied and very delicious.

IrelandThe pool was a little dirty with plastic and some tissues floating in it Music was quite loud so ask to stay away from the entertainment area if you are planning an early night
Very friendly staff. Great food. Great that there was a pool for the kids to relax in and to cool off in although closes a little early at 7pm They facilitate a great 4 hour trip into Wadi Rum one evening that was great fun and finished with a spectacular sunset

AustriaDespite being new property, maintenance is not keeping up , cleanliness could be improved substantially… the night we were there, it was noisy and music blasting till midnight… in a place that was marketed for peace and serenity . The property manager was kind enough to recognize the noise problem and extended a substantial discount to our party.
Location is nice, Facility is new and tents are comfortable.

JordanNOTHING.
I want to thank the very nice guy at the reception desk who upgraded our selected tent to a fantastic superior luxurious bubble tent. I had a king size bed, with a very comfortable mattress and lot of pillows. In the bubble there is an ellipse shape skylight which allowed me to see the stars, while lying. There is a side window, with a very beautiful curtain. There is also a very comfortable sofa. Two very fancy Syrian style chairs and a coffee table added on beautiful decoration of the tent. Also, the several wall-mounted light fixtures gave an excellent warm light in the tent. For a tent, I was astonished to find that there were 6 socket outlets, which were very useful, because they allowed me to charge my two mobile phones and my smart watch. in several 5-star hotels, you don't find such a big number of socket outlets. Socket outlets are very essential, because they allow you to charge whatever items which need charging, because now a days, we carry many items which need frequent charging. The tiled floor was very clean. Now let me tell you about the shower. It has a rain head shower with a pressurized water, plus a hand shower and guess what, 6 side spouts which massage your back and chest. you don't find such an expensive and luxurious shower mixer in highly ranked 5-star hotels. I have to add that there was a very efficient WIFI, as well as a wall type air-conditioning unit. When you come back from a camel ride or a four-wheel ride, you relax in the very nice and clean lap swimming pool. The ZARB mutton, chicken and rice, which was imbedded in the soil, surrounded by hot coal, was removed from the soil, in a very nice show like thing. The buffet dinner was versified and very rich, all kinds of salads, hoummos, hot dishes and the ZARB mutton and chicken, as well as the buffet rich breakfast, with all kinds of eggs, jam, cheeses, not forgetting the thin bread SHRAK, baked fresh in front of you. The waiters were very polite.

QatarI didn't like that there was no lunch unless u asked for it. You will have to ask about food when u check in so you know how u will manage.
I love the homy feeling of the place and the food so good. The luxury bubbles are so recommended. I enjoyed the pool! A little too cold for my liking but I loved it. The place is not too noisy which makes it so peaceful.

United StatesGood luck with any service. Water is not available for drinking after 12. Cold water is almost impossible to find. The luxury bubble rooms are sooooooooo overpriced and overrated for no reason. I didn’t see any stars and once the sun is up it becomes a hot bubble that will explode. And there is no way to close it!!! the AC barely works. The electricity keeps going out every 15 minutes! Cutlery was not clean.
The swimming pool is the only thing that is actually true about the camp and the dinner “Zarb” was good.

United KingdomNo housecleaning carried out, so with full bin of toilet paper in the desert was quite disgusting. Broken furniture in room and around pool. No service at pool bar for most of afternoon. Breakfast very poor on 2nd day - no bread, no eggs. No reason for such early breakfast times either. No complementary drinks in room. Room had a plastic roof so very hot from morning til evening. Very few sunbeds with no shade around pool. Ice cream cost 2.50d each which was a joke for already defrosed and refrozen icecream. Air con not on in advance on arrival. Booking wrong. Food wastage second night. Not luxury. Awkward checking out asking if owe anything. Not sure what complimentary and what isn't at dinner. Cleaning pool whilst in it.
Amazing location on edge of the protected area. Quiet during the day and nice pool. Substantial breakfast and buffet, but only on one day when busier.

United KingdomAlthough is new seems done very cheaply. They’re used to catering for large tour groups so loses some of the charm and isolation of rum - on the edge of the desert, not in the protected area.
Breakfast and dinner were good. Had a pool but with lots of families… rooms basic but clean and ac worked well and had a fridge!
