Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PolandBoth the accommodation itself and the dinner, additional activities and especially atmosphere and true kindness and hospitality of the owner and whole his staff were absolutely extraordinary. I can only recommend this place. It was amazing experience. Choose this camp and you will not be disappointed. The camp is indeed in the middle of the desert, far away from any asphalt roads, with total silence at night. It of course also means that water pressure or burning water temperature and adequate air conditioning during 40C are not what you should expect to have around the clock here but… who needs it in the desert - when you can open doors to your bubble tent, go to terrace, feel mild breeze and watch the stars. Complimentary breakfast and neverending cups of tea, as well as extra paid zarb dinner and jeep tour were the best value for the money I could expect. We had 4h drive just for us for less than USD 80 (which could be also the price for much bigger group) - with the best driver we could have - distinguished Bedouin gentleman who despite little knowledge of English took care of us, went much beyond our expectations and made this trip real adventure. Thank You, Tomek and Zuza from Poland. And do not be afraid to come to Jordan these days! It is such a fabulous and safe country and kind people! And so many things to see here!

ItalyNothing. If i can just give an advice... adding a couple of shelves and hangers would make the room much more comfortable
Very nice camp in the middle of Wadi Rum, located in a hidden spot of the desert... away from main touristic paths. Salman and all the staff were super friendly and welcoming. They helped with any request we made. The "room" had a beautiful view on the desert with a big window just in front of the bed. The comfort is in accordance with what you can get in a desert camp. We truly enjoyed a desert tour with Abu Ayman. Dinner was freshly prepared on site ...and was simply fantastic. I recommend this camp if you are planning a trip over there

MalaysiaAll good. Knowing that this is isolated in the desert, power is obtained through solar energy. So, bring along a headlamp or torchlight as it's lights out after 11.30pm till next morning.
Salman offered the 4 hour jeep ride which was quite comprehensive and included Mushroom rock and Umm Fruth Rock Bridge. This was at JD80. If you excluded them, then price will reduce but it's worth taking the former. The location of the camp was ideal as you can get nice photos of the stars as it's isolated with hills in the background. Dinner which you had to pay and complimentary breakfast was great.

AustriaOur stay at the camp was absolutely wonderful! A really nice driver picked us up at the Visitor Center and we experienced a breathtaking Jeep Tour through Wadi Rum at Sunset. The Room was big and so beautiful! After they showed us our cabin we drank tea with the people who worked there. After that, we opted for Dinner, which was super delicious and the breakfast the next morning was fine. The best Foul I had in my life. The desert is beautiful and I can only recommend staying at this camp.

TurkeyIt would be great to put a coffee table in the rooms to put some little stuff, and the towels could have been better, some more water absorbing i mean.
We stayed 2 nights, it was really relaxing. The first day, we 2 were the only guests, and sit by the campfire with Bekir, Tina and the other camp staff, talked about our cultures, stargazing etc. They are all warmhearted, helpful, welcoming people. Location is very quiet, no artificial lights, there is no other camp near, so you can see the stars very clearly. Waking up to that sunrise view and colors is the highlight. Rooms have amazing mountain views. While resting in my bed, i saw some camels feeding grass come very near to my room! It was amazing. Rooms are clean, hot water is available at any time. Very special thanks to Bekir for making delicious dinner including zarb, and making me morning coffee, preparing me some lunch for my jeep tour, i have already missed him! Our arrival was very close to sunset, upon my request Salman arranged our pick up point according to that so we can watch amazing sunset before going camp, it was really superb gesture. Shukran for all.

I think it was the best choice we could’ve made out of all the accommodation in Wadi Rum. This camp is hidden away from everything, it’s calm, it’s silent with extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Our room was spotless, smelled amazing and the VIEW😍 was just spectacular from our room. Make sure you book some excursions with them, we loved both the 4x4 tour and the morning camel ride (the camels were nicely taken care of and seemed really happy there). And the fooood was soooo tasty, both the breakfast and dinner! Our host created a truly special place in the middle of the desert. Would definitely book again and recommend it to everyone!

ItalySalman is a real host. His camp Is located in one of the best corner of the Wadi Rum protected area far from the caothic jeep tracks that run from Wadi Rum village to the South part of the reserve. The rooms are clean, with private wc and with a magnific window on the desert. The food made by the chief is very tasty. The bedouin driver and Johnny were very kind and helped us when we got lost. HE IS ONE OF THE FEW THAT ALLOWED YOU TO REACH THE CAMP BY FOOT AND DOESN'T FORCE YOU TO DO THE JEEP TOURS. Thanks Salman and all your team for the beautiful experience.

PolandIt was in Feb so not really warm nights to enjoy the sky from outside and definitely my stay was too short!
The location is perfect as you don't see any other camps/lights and hear any noises. The staff - this is the best customer service I have ever experienced - everyone is kind, polite and respecting your private space. The food - delicious and no way to finish it all. The tents have its own bathrooms, you get really warm blankets. You have a big window in it to look at the moon at night or the sun just after the sunrise - what else you need! Nothing to complain - this is the camp on the dessert but has more facilities than expected! The owner will help you with organising a transport, e.g. from Petra or Aqaba, if you wish. No hidden cost - all clear. The jeep tour with their driver - amazing. He is such a good man going extra mile to make sure you take 100% out of it.

CyprusThis was the second time to visit Salman's camp, the first was in 2018. Since then, the camp had an amazing makeover. The camp was completely renovated and the tents are now ensuite with an amazing (big-window) view of the desert. The location is ideal, quiet with no light or noise pollution. The staff were very hospitable. The highlight of our stay was the full-day tour organised by Salman which included a 4x4 tour, hiking to the highest peak of Jordan, Jabal Umm ad Dami and then lunch cooked by bedouins.
