How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Be careful : despite the descrition of the hotel on the website, there is no parking. Only space in the street if... you find one.
Hotel really confortable with a nice restaurant/terrasse.

Didn't stay there long enough lol
This place is a great hidden gem in a swanky city fringe pocket of Amman. Easily walking distance to numerous city centric must dos, but nestled in a quaint bylane. The roof top bar, with great regional playlist is significantly underrated. Go there for a surprise over a sun downer and be smitten by the magical discovery of the beholding view. Najat, the owner/operator is extremely professional and friendly. Recommended us some great, knowledgeable and reasonably priced services of local transport providers, who were extremely warm, efficient and hospitable in ensuring our trip itinerary stayed on track.

I have stayed at the Locanda before and it is a lovely and intimate hotel in one of the few genuine, old neighbourhoods in Amman. The owner is charming and accommodating and I can recommend it to anyone visiting Amman for work or tourism.

Rooms are a bit small but ok.
Najat and the staff are exceptionally amazing. Location is very good if you are planning to stay around Luwaibeh and the centre of Amman.

If the hotel is not full late check out should be made possible
The hotel is situated in a very nice area not far from many cafés. The hotel restaurant is very nice and the food is great.

This is a fabulous hotel with impeccable service. The location is great. Close to many cafes, galleries, and restaurants, as well as main points of interest. The design and themed rooms are unique. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Najat (the owner) is great. Rooms are clean and inviting. The food at the restaurant is delicious. I'm a picky person, so it means a lot to find such a gem. Highly recommended.

it’s a family run business. every single member of the staff was friendly, helpful, and happy. they made sure we had what we needed and were comfortable. the hotel is attached to a bar and restaurant. it made room service easy. they also have a great rooftop bar. I highly recommend staying here, great location as well!

Very nice place in the heart of the artistic and bohemian neighborhood of Amman, close to cafes, restaurants and shops. Very nice garden restaurant annexed to the hotel, where breakfast is served and it is nice to work.

Cute hotel with lovely attached outdoor restaurant. Very kind and helpful staff. Owner on site frequently. The hotel is nice and in a walkable neighborhood, not too far from tourist attractions. There are some restaurants and coffee shops in easy walking distance.

That's not the case.
Very good location, walking distance to almost all tourist attractions. The hotel is very clean and the staff super friendly. Totally recommend it for your trip to Jordan.

The way by foot to the hotel could be a little challenging under the bright sun. But it is not a minus point. Still a wonderful hotel.
Breakfast was more or less like the Jordanian standard, but with filter coffee - 1 plus point. The rooms are very clean and good established with iron board. The staff are super friendly. The best thing was the possibility to either chill in the garden or in the beautiful bar with view over the city on the rooftop, especially at night - that overtopped our expectation. There was even a live concert in the bar downstairs.

i made reservation month ago double room , but i got twin room
i do really appreciate guy who working in during the day at the reception, he is very kind , truly born to be kind , in jordan a lots people trying to take money from tourist, i also had that experience, but there are good side and good people like him , and also manager “Najat’ is very kind , if you have problems she will help

Everyone was really nice. If you have some problems with transportation etc. they are willing to help you. Location is excellent - in a trendy cute area with many cafes and restaurants. Room is spacious and clean.

I can't really think of anything.
Everything, especially the staff was very friendly and helpful. Like almost everywhere in Jordan they speak impeccable English. They helped me with returning the key to An accomation in Petra (where I stayed before and where I forgot to return the key). Breakfast was also nice Very clean and beautifuly decorated rooms (every room refers to a famous singer from the Middle East) and music is thé central theme in this hotel.
