Any tour has to be done via the owner, so you end up paying a hefty fee for that. On the other side, it was cheap to book.

    Friendly stuff. Good tents.

It was an amazing experience! The tent was large, spacious and very comfortable. The views from the tent were breathtaking - we could see the desert stretching in front of us and a lot of stars at night. Ahmad our guide was a funny and lovely person who took care of us. I can highly recommend This Camp to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the desert!

We got to Wadi Rum in the morning and even though we were 1 h too early we got picked up and got tea. Everything was perfectly organized! The choice of sights was great (Lawrence Spring, Cannion etc.) and we got a lot of information. We received water and tea whenever we liked and also got the culture better by infos from our competent and very nice guide. One of the many highlights included sandboarding. The lunch (cooked by our guide) was very delicious! In summary, it was great fun and i would definately recommend it to everyone going to Wadi Rum!

We had an amazing experience with Star Walk Camp. Wadi Rum is a natural wonder that should not be missed. The nature is breathtaking and different to anything we have seen before. Star Walk were very organised and communicated effectively leading up to our visit. The book of information that we received when we booked our visit was comprehensive and helped us prepare for the visit. Our guide, Aboodulah, was excellent and shared many stories of the Bedouin life and cooked a delicious meal for us from the back of the Jeep. The campsite was well set up and comfortable, and the food there was excellent as well.

It was an incredible experience. The manager Ahmad is the best. We experienced the bedouin life and saw the best sunset in the best camp in Wadi Rum. We had a very tasty dinner and breakfast and were dancing bedouin music. All he staff is the best.

My cousin and I did the 4 hours camel ride. It was an amazing experience, the local beduin accompanied us around the desert, prepared for us a tea near a cave and during the trip we stoped to chat with other beduins. I wuold love to do it again. The hospitality at the camp is superlative and everyone is very kind. The owner of the camp (Ahmad) love his job and his tourists. After dinner, my cousin and I didn't want to sleep and we started starsgazing.

Ahmed is a wonderful host and made sure that we were comfortable at all times - even putting an extra blanket in our tent as it got really cold in the afternoon already. The beds are comfortable and the thick blankets keep you warm even in the cold desert nights. The food was amazing, especially the Bedouin dinner, and the evenings in the big tent were perfect, sitting by the fire with good company, learning to dance, and playing games. We felt very welcome and had a great time doing both a jeep and a camel tour with Star Walk.

Nothing that I can complain about

I really liked staying at this camp. We were a group of girls coming by bus and Ahmad, the host at the camp, provided transport from the Wadi Rum Visitor Centre and back for us. Very hospitable team, we really enjoyed the 4x4 jeep tour and dancing the Bedouin dance - which they taught us after dinner. We met many interesting people at this camp and I would most definitely like to meet Ahmad, Abdul, and all of his team once again if I come back 🙂

we had a back luck - the strongest rain within the last 15 years :( but even the bad weather conditions, we could make the planned tour and watch the desert from inside the track instead of sitting on the back of the track.

I loved our stay with Bedouins! we were a family - 2 adults and 2 kids so booked the only bigger tent which was available in the camp and it was HUGE! It is as cozy as you see it on the pictures, beds are nice, the tent has even it's own heating and in the evening the electricity is switched on. The bathroom is outside but very nice and clean and with warm water. food is served in a huge tent which works as a restaurant and just to sit there and watch the Bedouins is a great life experience- definitely worth the visit :)

Most intense and breathtaking travel experience in my life

We would have loved to stay at least four days (instead of two) in the camp!

A stay in this camp can't be described with the "normal standards" of a "hotel stay". My sons (13 and 15y) and I have stayed for two nights and it has been some of my most intense experiences in traveling. We will never forget these wonderful days! You will stay in the middle of the desert in a thoughtfully made and extremely clean "house" which has a window which shows the immensity of the desert. The "community house" welcomes you with a warm and authentic atmosphere and during the evening Ahmad (owner and manger of the camp) and his chef, will invite you to experience "Beduin cooking". Afterwards you will sit under an immense star lit sky look at the warm glance of a campfire and get to learn about Beduin culture of the past and present and maybe do a bit of philosophy ... most of the visitors start the next day with a Jeep-tour (you might choose between 4, 5h or a full day tour) which is just fantastic and a real eye-opener to the secrets of the desert. Everything is perfectly organized and has reasonable prices (and its truly worth every penny). Ahmad is an ambassador of Beduin hospitality and a real personality.Highly, very highly recommended (even from my adolescent sons)!
