Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Our entire experience in this hotel was fantastic, start to finish. The staff are exceptional, very polite and welcoming. They go above and beyond to make you feel at home and comfortable. The restaurants are to am excellent standard. Breakfast in Ambrose is superb! Plenty of delicious options. I especially would like to thank Ahmed Farsi, who is the team leader in Ambrose Restaurant. He specially sent us a letter with a jar of Zaatar and fine olive oil to our room as a gift after hearing we had not tried Zaatar before! There is also Leah at the reception, she was very helpful and sweet. She made sure we knew all the best spots to hang out in Amman and would always be there when we returned to ask how we found it. Also thanks to Osama at the reception who ran around for us making sure our Uber came to the right spot in the hotel. These are a few examples I have mentioned but the staff could not have done more to make us feel at home. There is nothing that is too much for them and they open heartedly help you. The personal touches were definitely noted and I will go as far as to say, this has been the best hotel I have stayed in so far!! The hotel is fairly new, only just celebrating its first year anniversary. However the service and amenities are impeccable. You would think it has been there for a while. The decor and luxury of this hotel is far beyond what I expected. The grandeur carries throughout the hotel, from entering the grounds to the lifts to the floors and then the bedrooms. Our room was remarkable, wonderful sized bedroom and bathroom. Much larger than any hotel we have seen before. A large walk-in wardrobe and a lovely walkway to your bedroom. The decor is very elegant and of great quality. Overall, its been the best stay we have had anywhere. The Ritz-Carlton just made our stay in Amman all the better! Comjng home to this place after a busy day was the icing on the cake. We will definitely be returning on future visits to the city!
