Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Facilities : jacuzzi, pool (even if weather wasn't good enough to enjoy the pool). Large and comfortable rooms (superior class) Nice location, at the foot of the mountain, in the middle of orchards. Very kind and easy staff

HungaryThis is based on compared to other camps. The breakfast is not so good and the room was a little bit used and the air inside dusty maybe because of the textile. Anyway it's a good camp and nice place but really overpriced. We expected much better service for this price.
Authentic camp in the wild area.

JapanThere are some distance from ruin so we had to pay extra fee for putting baggage and transportation. On the other hand, total cost is lower than other hotels and the view is great.
In Petra, we spend time at ruin. It mean our main purpose to stay hotel is to rest. Their rooms are clean and enough facilities. Also, they has pool and netflix. They are reasonable, clean and enough facilities to rest.

United KingdomAlthough they're rapidly expanding, it has the air of somewhere that hasn't been quite thought through... perhaps they'll iron out the creases over time. The tour coach driving right up to our guest huts and idling the engine for 90 mins from 7am was a low point... but there's nothing that would stop me staying there again.
Rock Camp is undoubtedly a cool place to stay; the breakfast is decent and the buffet dinner was excellent both nights. Would have loved to have spent more time there at the pool and just hanging out in the evening; it's quite expensive compared to other options when you're just sleeping and wolfing down food before heading off to Petra again!

South KoreaFor those who are sensitive to synthetic smell (probably coming from the materials of the tent that have to resist the sun rays), I would suggest to choose a type of room besides the bubble.
The staff at the reception, at the restaurant, at the rooms were all exceptionally professional and friendly! The rooms were clean and so were the bathrooms inside the rooms. We had reserved dinner at the restaurant beforehand for 14JD per person for adults, and it was superb in terms of the tast and quantity! Children were not charged but the food was more than enough for all of us to eat and more, plis they prepared French fries for the kids! The pool was big and deep and very cleanly maintained. We had great view of the surrounding from the room, and we enjoyed the serenity at night and in the morning (except for the barking dogs, but they are also just doing their job!). I would highly recommend this lodging for travelers, even those with kids.

PortugalThe location in itself was pretty spectacular, with all the surrounding mountains and everything. But if the idea is to stay there to visit Petra, it’s not ideal. You will bleed money in taxis to go and come back and the staff at the reception doesn’t really have much information to give about visiting Petra.

PolandThis is a very nice camp, however not a 5 star standard. The place requires further investments into the facilities and services. We have had almost a fire in the camp due to broken kettle. Fortunately the staff was very helpful. The water under the shower is rather cold and nothing could be done to fix the problem. There is no internet connection in the Camp, however you can use WiFi (ok but not excellent). There is a swimming pool (great!) but we didn't use it as the water was cold. Breakfasts are very basic, even poor. There are no shops or restaurants in the neighbourhood and you can't buy any snacks or soft drinks in the Camp (you get water, tea and 1 x person soft drink for free, every day).
The camp is managed by a great manager who is very service oriented, understands customer needs and is trying his best (with limited resources) to satisfy every guest. Without Atef the camp would be average. So, big compliments to the entire staff. Location is also nice but it isn't easy to find it and impossible to get there without the car. In general it was a nice experience to be there but don't expect too much.

JordanThe breakfast had a lot of flies, can't really blame it on the hotel though cause the staff was always there cleaning and preparing the buffet. There were also a few insects in the shower and on the tent ceiling but nothing too bad, kind of expected when you're in the nature and sleeping under a tent. The camp was also a bit far from the Wadi Musa village and it wasn't well lit so I'd recommend eating at the hotel at night unless you're comfortable with driving in the dark.
The room was clean, spacious and the beds were very clean. The staff was super nice, we called them for some tips on how to visit Petra and they helped us a lot and were very transparent about the best ways to go through it. The tents were also big and the private bathroom was a plus.

ItalyThe location is not the best and not the most romantic we stayed at, however for one night when visiting Petra it was sufficient. It was very cold in the winter in our room even though the ac was on the whole night.
Staff is the strongest point of the accommodation - very polite, friendly and very helpful. Tents were spacious and we also had warm water in the bathroom that you do not take for granted in the desert. Food for dinner was nice too.

Hungarybreakfast and dinner, overall price
The camp is a unique experience for those who never tried bubbles. The staff is very nice and friendly; special thanks to our friend, Atef who made our stay even more special. The breakfast though could welcome some improvement, also the place overall felt overpriced for what it offers.
