Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyThe smell of smoking in closed area. There was no warm water to take a shower. This is a general problem with properties which use water tank and sun for warming water. I suppose in summer there will be warm even hot water, but at this time the water was cold. The warmest water we could get was like a indoor swimming pool.
Parking. View from room.

SloveniaThe breakfast box could be better – more suitable for traveling to Petra. Some of the rooms looked small in the center of the building, without outer windows – not in our case.
Great small hotel with private parking for your car. We got a great room with a balcony view to the city. The hotel is offering a free shuttle bus to the Wadi Musa center. If you would like to go early to Petra, the hotel can also provide you breakfast box. They are also serving traditional dinner for extra cost. Good breakfast. Room furniture is kind of "extra", but you get what you can see in the pictures.

IndiaThere wasn't anything that was a problem for us, but for fellow travellers I just want to call out that the building does not have a lift.
Our stay was quite comfortable - the room ( especially bathroom ) was not super spacious, but it was definitely neat, clean and comfortable. We stayed here for 3 nights, and were able to get good rest after our long days of walking in Petra. We liked the breakfast (though it is pretty much the same thing every morning, but that wasn't a problem with us ). We found the shuttle service to Petra very helpful and on time. The location is in a way central, i.e. walking distance to most of the eating places and super markets. Though not exactly walking distance from Petra archaeological site ( but then the shuttle service helps).

SlovakiaThere is a free shuttle bus from Wadui Musa to Little Petra. Nice trip is to go through canyon from Little Petra to Monastery and to Threasury and Siq canyon back to Wadi Musa. From Little Petra is another shuttle bus of 5jod to 1/2 way to Monastery. Prices of restaurants near entrance to Petra Park are more expensive than those in the centre, and I would say also not so Jordan authentic. Watch what you are really charging if you pay by card.
Excellent break-fast and wilinnes staff. Especially Sabah, she can provide you many information and advice on what and where to do. The hotel is also offering a dinner, try it.

AustriaBecause of the warren of one-way streets, the hotel is difficult to reach without a car and a good (preferably online) map. It is a relatively small hotel with no elevator, so if you have mobility issues you will be much more comfortable elsewhere.
Very pleasant staff who did their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Nice modern rooms with TV, air conditioning and free bottled water. We tried the BBQ dinner on offer one evening and it was pretty good - recommended, but they don't do it every night. Hotel is conveniently located no more than 10 minutes drive from the entrance to the Petra site.

ItalyNo lift. The staff seems not to be really careful to the guest's needs and it would be better receive a couple of smile more. No cupboard for clothes in the room.
Good location, just a bit out of the noisy center. I could say everything is not even an inch more than a standard.

HungaryThe location is more than one kilometer from Petra entrance. (However there is a free shuttle, but you have to watch for its timetable.) Rooms are not very spacy.
Staff was very friendly, proactive, they greeted us with a free welcome drink with ice. View from the window is beautiful. Breakfast had some choice, enough, and contained everything we expected. Optional lunch box is at a good price and is a well chosen set, it's very good for a whole-day Petra visit. Free coffee in the room. Big bottle of cold water in the hotel at a good price.

PortugalIts location; It's very high up and it's difficult to get there with suitcases on foot, when you don't really know where it is.
We loved the room: large and very comfortable; with water and coffee available; the room ha an extremely welcoming balcony and a wonderful view of Petra; we realy liked it, so, instead of 1 night, we decided to stay one more. It has an interesting typical Nabataean tent for dinner.

United StatesI purchased the room upgrade to be able to enjoy a city view, but instead received a room with a view of the parking lot and only a small sliver of the city. Save yourself the money of an upgrade.
Friendly people that were able to organize Wadi Rum tours. A shuttle was available to take guests to the entrance of Petra. The room was clean and comfortable and had all amenities, such as coffee, shampoo, air conditioning, and outlets. The owner’s son spoke good English, hereby facilitating communication. Just walking down the hill from the inn, you were in the middle of touristy stores and restaurants.

ItalyAs soon as we arrived, the room was really cold and the air conditioning really struggled to keep a comfortably warm temperature inside. I had also a problem with hot water in the shower and I had to wait roughly 1h. There were no thick curtains in the room, so you might be awaken by the sunlight if you are sensitive. Despite these small issues, which are however minor, I think the hotel is value for money.
Location was excellent, with an excellent view. The staff also upgraded our room for free. Breakfast was nicely prepared every morning with many choices. The owner also organise many times in the day a van to bring tourists to Petra.

Hotel has perfect location in peaceful area but in the same time close to the city center. The hotel staff are really hospitable, they have provided to us lunch boxes instead of breakfast, welcome drinks and even blankets for not to get cold in the early morning while visiting Petra. AustraliaGreat location in the centre of Wadi Musa, easy walk to restaurants. Really appreciated the shuttle to Petra and reasonably priced laundry service. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean with a view. Aircon/heating and hot water worked well. Only thing missing was a top sheet on the bed. Breakfast included pancakes and was good. Nice honest staff. Excellent value, would stay again.
