Odd clunking sound coming from building all night (and probably all day) so I needed ear plugs to sleep.

Five minute walk to the Petra Visitor Center. Basic accommodation, but quite good for the price which is much lower than nearby hotels. Staff were pleasant. Clean room.

There was nothing to complain about

Lovely staff and excellent location. I had a front facing room with a balcony to sit and watch the sunset from. Comfy bed, hot shower, delicious breakfast with items suitable for coeliacs. Couldn't fault it at all. I ended up staying 3 nights in total. I parked directly in front of the hotel and it's a few minutes down the hill to the Petra entrance

The location was perfect for our visit to Petra, less than a 5 min walk! The room was clean and breakfast was nice. Staff were very sweet and friendly especially Shifa, Mousa and Ahmad :) The views from our room were amazing too! Such a pretty sunset view.

The best part was Mohamed who assisted me with all of my questions. I arrived early and he had the room cleaned immediately and I waited with a complimentary coffee. The terrace was an added pleasure. Being tired from days in Amman and sitting on the balcony with a beer (a rare pleasure in Amman) delighted me. Great view!

The venus hotel is just in the front of petra gate and even with this exceptional location , the rate is competitive regarding the others. The room are spacious. The mattress is a sleeping cloud. I loved my stay there.

Hotel has fantastic location it is situated 50 metres from the visitors centre of Petra. Staff is absolutely amazing, kind and welcoming. They arranged the tickets for Petra by night and delivered them promtly to us. Lady who did a check in was an absolute sweetheart. I would say that human and kind approach is their main asset. We were given all information we needed, they made us feel very welcomed. breakfast was very nice, room was spacious, clean, with balcony overlooking the square with main entrance to petra valley. Convenient parking right in front of the hotel. perfect place to stay in when visiting Petra.

Hot water timed out in the showers quite quickly - we didn't say anything and I'm sure they would have remedied it if we asked. Rooms are as pictured.

Very friendly staff who organised tickets for us, upgraded our room, and let us have breakfast even though we were slightly late. Location is excellent as its very close to the Petra entrance.

Very nice small hotel with superb staff right across the road from the Petra archaeological park and JETT bus stop, with free parking for the guests. People working at the hotel were all exceptionally nice, warm and welcoming, they were even willing to arrange my lunches and dinners for me, although their restaurant was currently closed. My room had a balcony with a view on Petra, it was spacious and nicely decorated. All in all, a very positive experience.

It is the perfect location for exploring Petra: right at the main entrance. The rooms are really comfortable and nice, which is much appreciated after a long day of walking! A nice breakfast is available really early for those wishing to waste no time exploring Petra. The staff is also super friendly and helpful.

The hotel is up a very steep (but fortunately not very big) hill from the entrance to Petra. After a long day climbing up and down lots of steps inside Petra it was not exactly what we wanted!

One of many hotels near the entrance to Petra, it may a bit more basic that its neighbours but we found it quite comfortable, good value and super convenient for accessing the park, especially first thing in the morning. Breakfast was ok - fairly standard fare and nothing to get excited about. The staff were helpful and allowed us to leave our bags with them during the day after we'd checked out.

We thought the Hotel is very good, the facilities are very good and quite comfortable. Room was a good size, air conditioning worked well. We had a balcony that had a good view. Host and staff extremely helpful, always willing to engage in small talk and provide any assistance required. It is a 5 min walk to the entrance of Petra which allows you to go out on foot. Option to take a lunch box at 5JOD. The buffet has plenty of variety and we enjoyed the food. The parking for the cars is free, right next to the hotel which is very handy. Overall would be happy to go back again.
