Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

It’s hard to choose a camp. Having recently returned we were very pleased with our choice. A few tips. The visitors centre was rather chaotic. Stop only for the WC and to get your JPass stamped at reception (not that anyone will check). Then drive to the WR village and park in the gated car park as you enter on the right hand side (5jod). The camp will do a jeep tour at a time to suit you and will meet you there. Wear trainers/similar as you’ll be walking up rocks and sand dunes. They supplied water. We found a 4 hour afternoon trip perfect and watched the sunset drinking freshly brewed tea. The jeeps all go to the same sites in differing orders. This camp wasn’t too far from the village. No other camp visible from the site and not near a tour stop ( one domed tent site had jeeps stopping all day right next door- not pleasant). Talk to the guide about Bedouin life- it’s fascinating eg the village is one tribe. We had already dropped our bags at the camp before the tour (another benefit of being relatively close). Dinner was very generous with chicken/veg/potatoes etc cooked in the ground plus numerous other options. Breakfast was equally excellent. Considering you’re in the desert it was very impressive. More tea around the fire, watching stars after dinner. Slept well with door open waking up to a spectacular view.

HungaryThe host was very helpful and also very flexible with the arrival time. It is worth choosing the full day jeep tour, which can be combined with camel riding. The tour also involves rock climbing, dress accordingly. We had a fantastic experience, with authentic Bedouin music playing during the jeep ride, which we really enjoyed. Lunch was prepared by the Bedouins in the middle of the desert and we had a rest here. While enjoying the sunset, the Bedouins offered us locally made tea. After sunset we returned to the tents and had a delicious dinner. Finally, we enjoyed Bedouin tea while looking for shooting stars.

IsraelMy experience at the campsite was a dream. Mohammed gave us the experience, we dreamed of. Firstly, entering Jordan from Israel we were stressed about going how it was going to be. Mohammed arranged everything for us. Including a travel agent to help with our visas, drivers and tours. The camp itself was extremely, clean and welcoming. He told us multiple times to make the campsite feel like home and it was our home. The food prepared was delicious. He gave us multiple blankets and told us to let us know if we needed more and our rooms were cleaned in the morning. He took us on an amazing star gazing tour with a fire, and we took photos of the stars. I saw over 20 shooting stars. You could feel how passionate Mohammad was about us enjoying our experience. He was telling us all about the culture and desert and you could feel his passion. There was unlimited bedouin tea for us. I would recommend this campsite to everyone I know and to choose Mohammed for your Bedouin adventure.

Excellent place to experience the beauty of Wadi Rum. Booked the tent two days in advance not really knowing what to expect. But Mohammed send us text with all the necessary information. The tour was amazing and the camp is basic, but that is why it was also so good. In the evening we were treated with the local food made in the dessert (best chicken I have had in a while). There was a cosy campfire with live music played by one of the guides while we were sitting under the most beautiful night sky you'll ever witness.

United Kingdomhaving travelled as a couple, my partner did feel there were a lot of just men around as the only other tourist was one female in another party. I think if the host party considered having the presence of another host female in the camp then it would be more comforting for female tourists. however there maybe cultural reasons I’m not familiar with wrt local women staying in the camps.
location is just stunning. few places in the world with this view as you open the door of your tent. it’s exceptional value for money.

Loved the communual bedouin tent with big fire for warm cosy evening with Mohammed & other guests. Endless cups of Arabic tea. Good buffet dinner (extra cost) & breakfast (included), good quantity. Rooms were surprisingly warm & cosy during cold desert nights! Toilet block & showers very clean, plentiful hot water for showers. Staff all very kind & helpful & Mohammed speaks good English. Meet & greet from Wadi Rum village. Host contacted me in advance to arrange pick-up so no hanging around. Would defo return to this camp - very well located with wonderful wadi Rum views. we did an all day jeep tour which was great fun, felt like an explorer! Thank you Mohammed.

MaltaThe area in the desert was amazing (it was so worth it to get up early for the sunrise), Mohammed and his family will always be available for you and if you are curious enough they will share lot of stories about the life in Wadi Rum. It was a unique experience that I highly recommend it! Food was great and will discover a lot about the life in the desert. Tents are big enough and you will even have water, electricity and WiFi if you really need it.

United Arab EmiratesNothing really. All good.
The remoteness and the authenticity of the camp. It was clean and offered us much solitude and much needed silence. The night sky is brilliant. The food was simple but tasty and Mr. Mohammed our host was charming and very helpful along with the other assistants. Would definitely stay there again.
