Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaNone. We were pleasantly surprised. We came here without expectations and everything went great.
Raed, Hani and Ali were great hosts. Enjoyed the full day jeep tour with Hani (one of the brothers) who kept things interesting. Quick communication with Raed (aka the big boss). Camp was very nice. The food was delicious care of Ali. Bathrooms have been renovated and are very clean (don't mind the old photos here). They have hot water (solar powered) and wifi in the camp (don't expect high speeds but more than enough to check emails and communicate with family and friends). If you have a rental car, you will have to park it in the village on their property (very secure). You can leave things you won't need at the camp in your car. The cost was reasonable. They have a website with more information just search it online.

IndiaThe bathrooms and showers are big, but are not directly beside the tents. Do carry a flashlight/phone with you whenever you're out of your tent after evening. The charging sockets are only in the common tent, and charging phones take a lot of time. They do have WIFI, but it's not reliable, and is very slow when multiple people use it.
I had an amazing experience with these guys. My JETT bus from Petra dropped me off at the visitor center. I had coordinated with the camp to have me picked up via WhatsApp, and they were waiting for me. Got dropped off at the Wadi Rum village, where I got into another vehicle and was brought to the camp. Raed and his brothers are fantastic hosts. I got a tent to myself with a really comfortable bed. The dining and common tents are pretty good places to hang out at. The traditional dinner was amazing. So, was the after-dinner dance. They have a small bonfire as well, and you can sleep outside the tents if you want. I did a 4 hour jeep tour of the red desert with a few more guests, where we saw some of the spots where movies were shot and some pretty good places for hiking. Cost me 35 JOD. The next day, I went on a solo jeep tour of the white desert which cost 80 JOD, but was absolutely great for rock climbing. Finished the day with an hour long camel ride for less than 15 JOD. P.S. - This place is also known as Wadi Rum Magic Nature Camp.

DenmarkI didn’t like that I only had time to spend 2 nights there, wish it could have been more.
I loved the atmosphere, the people, the food, the tour. Its approximately 7 km outside of Wadi Rum village (they pick you up and take you there) which is good because you can see the stars clearly at night because of no light pollution. Comfy beds and tents, I slept like a baby. Thank you!

Owners were great. They are very personable and fun to be around, They spoke very good English, and prices were as advertised. We paid 20 JOD for our room, through booking.com. We also booked a 4-hour jeep ride through the desert. This cost us 35 JOD each because there were 6 of us in the back of the jeep, as the owners were able to put this large group together to save us all money, which we appreciated. We paid in US dollars and they were very fair with us on the exchange rate. The whole camp was very organized. Coming to Wadi Rum, we stopped at the Visitors Centers to show our Jordan Pass, which allowed us into the Wadi Rum area. Then we drove our car 6 km to the family compound in the Wadi Rum village. We parked our car in a walled and gated area of their compound. At 2pm, we all left in the back of the jeep and started our tour in the desert. Most people left their luggage in their car and only took a backpack. We missed that clue, and we took our backpack and carryon luggage, and the owners were fine with this. However, next time, I'd leave the luggage and just take a backpack. The jeep ride was great. We arrived at the camp around 6pm/sunset (it was November). The evening meal was very good. The entertainment and dancing was fun. The showers and bathroom facility was clean and adequate. They provided towels upon request. We slept very well. Breakfast was good. We felt totally safe. We left in a jeep at 9am in the morning to go back to the village and left in our car. Several people had stayed for a couple of days, and a few had been there 4 days. Tents were in great shape. Everything was as advertised.

United KingdomTwo things I would suggest: My friend and I stayed 3 nights, most people just stay one or two. It would be nice to have more variety in the evening activities for people staying a longer time. Providing a thin blanket for the summer months when it is too warm to use the thick blanket provided.
My friend and I had a wonderful time at this camp. The Bedouin family running this camp were some of the most friendly people we met in Jordan. There are many camps in Wadi Rum and all have a similar set up but what made this one unique was how much effort the family put in to involve us in their traditions and life. Teaching us about how to cook the traditional food, dancing with us, inviting us to sit around the campfire and even introducing us to their camels and showing us how they milk them (camel milk is delicious by the way!). Our guide for the jeep tour was amazing, really make sure you spend time asking them about their life in the desert as it is so interesting and they are so passionate about this place. It is heartwarming. Also, the facilities are very clean and comfortable at this camp. And the food is amazing. Thank you for an amazing stay.
