This camp is a Wadi Rum location winner. Unlike the more commercial areas of Wadi Rum with their ute motorways, Galaxy has a lot less buzzing vehicles passing by. Makes it easier to appreciate the wonderful desert environment. The camp set up is simple and clean. The wonderful cooking was a big bonus. Compliments to the chef! I recommend.

-the wifi is spotty but understandable... You are in the middle of the desert, this is not a real issue wifi is good for WhatsApp and is perfect. -I understand their source of income is the tours, cause 99% of the guests come for only one day and the stay is free, but sometimes I just wanted to chill, walk alone or do something more original, which is not so common for their standard tours, but in the end they understood and provided a more personal experience.

I stayed 5 days with Haitham and his family, and I think im the one that stayed the longest since everyone stays for one night only. I've walked most of the Wadi Rum so i can say. The camp is the best ive seen. The location is in an amazing spot one of the most beautiful places in the desert and only a bit far away from the rest so you don't get traffic or lights from other camps and the view from the camp is the best in my opinion. The campground has very clean hot showers, wifi, an amazing living room with charging ports, and cozy warm rooms witg also charging ports and wifi. No glamping no fancy ammenities as you should to experience the Baduin life. The stay is practically free with meals included, they prepare underground cooking shisha dancing fire grounds etc. Is what I dreamt.

It was an absolutely perfect experience in everything. Haitham was a very hospitable host. Bedouin dinner was simply amazing. The environment was very clean. There was wifi, but it was disconnected from time to time, which seemed quite normal to me, and being without internet in such an environment was as it should be, even if only for a day. Our guide Ahmet was very caring, sweet and descriptive. If I go to Wadi Rum again, I would definitely choose it again and again.

One evening we didn't get hot water for the shower, but it was due to the clouds that didn't let the water heat properly.. Not much that they can do about that. Perhaps the bathroom could be a bit renovated. But all in all, it's a bedouin camp, I liked the style :)

The food was very good and the staff, Haytham and his brother Ahmed, were both super funny and nice! Location is great, you are in the middle of the desert. It was very cold (we visited in February) but with plenty of blankets we slept well. On sunny days you've got hot water

Haithem and his family did a great job making Wadi Rum my favorite experience in Jordan. In a super-safe area, the location of the camp is perfect! Dead center in the preserve, facing a beautiful sunset 🌄. They email/message you with options of how to get to/from the visitor center & the camp, along with a website that clearly provides options for tours as well. Breakfast & Dinner inside the fire-heated Bedouin tent were tasty and filling. Beds are comfy with blankets, solar LED pathway lights, and clean toilets/sinks. I did not use the shower because it was quite cold at night but they also looked clean. The 4x4 pickup truck 🛻 tour is worthwhile to see all the awe-inspiring sights in Wadi Rum. Heck, the pickup from the visitor center alone was a thrill-ride as they let me sit in the back 💯 highly recommend 2 (or 3) nights here vs 1 because some days have clear skies and others partly cloudy / occasional rain shower. You absolutely want to see the stars on a clear evening & reddish/orange colors here on a sunny day; again, the view of sunset from the camp is amazing 😍

I literally liked everything ! The campsite was truly amazing, in the middle of the desert with the beautiful stars during the night! The staff is composed of two brothers, Haitham and Ahmad, who are amazing people, I really enjoyed staying there with them, it was literally like we were living as a bedouin in the desert. It was such an amazing experience for me. Also the activities that they propose, such as the jeep tour day, was so much worth it! I've seen places like I've never seen before, it was like I was on Mars planet! I really recommend staying there. The 2 nights that I've spent there were magical!

From the beggining we were a bit hesitant because there is not much of an info of the whole package so we had to look for more information. The accommodation itself is not enough, the final price includes some activities and transportation. So more of info befire booking would be really convenient.

The stay itself was better than expected. Our host was amazing, he picked us up, we had a jeep tour with sunset that was organized super nicely and accordingly of what we wanted. Dinner was super delicious and breakfast as well. We were a bit afraid of being cold during the night since it was january, but we were provided enough of warm blankets - I actually havr not been sleeping this good for quite some time! Thank you again! I totally reccommend, Haitham is amazing host, kind, funny and answering all of my curious questions whole sharing some of the sneak peeks of bedouin life. One of the best experiences in our life.

Amazing place to stay in the desert + Amazing place in the middle of the desert. Our host, Ali,picked us at the entrance of the city to bring us to the camp. There, we had excellent dinner and breakfast, shared around a fire. Our tent was great and we had additional blankets as it was cold. The shower and toilets were clean. The day after, we booked a jeep tour and it was also an amazing experience. I recommend the place 100%

The camp is situated on a very scenic spot of the Wadi Rum desert, Haitham and his brothers cater for all the needs of their guests. The tents are comfortable enough, the sanitary blocks are similar to any campsite in Europe, the food is excellent, the atmosphere is absolutely magic. Haitham really goes the extra mile to make sure every guest leaves happy. I highly recommend the full-day tour in the desert These nights spent in the camp were the highlight of my week in Jordan

There was nothing that I did not like.

It is a cozy camp deep in the desert that conects you with the nature and gives an exceptional experience and deep understanding of nomadic life of beduins. The owner and staff are young people full of energy and capable to not only to make you feel as part of the local culture but olso to entertain you on traditional as well as modern vay. For me it was vonderfull day and night spent in the desert.

Haitham was super attentive with everything we needed, helped us arrange transportation from Aqaba and after we were done in wadi rum to wadi musa. The tents look new and are clean, the cave is an amazing option for couples in my opinion very private.‬‏
