Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Hasan did an incredible Jeep trip, he was also very kind and provided good service. We had a lot of fun together we consider him our friend. Very good location for stargazing, the place has some good music at the dinner and the dinner tasted great

Switzerlandthe location is away from most of the other camps in Wadi Rum and the bubble tent are very nice. beds a so comfy, we slept amazingly well. Hassan made us discover the desert and so many magic places, je really knows the region and love to share his knowledge on local customs and history. Aied took care of us at camp, providing everything we needed, anticipating our every needs and the rest of the crew was super friendly and sweet. we will definitely come back here for our next trip to Wadi Rum!

United StatesTo be clear. There wasn't anything we didn't like. It would have been more comfortable with a fan to circulate air flow in the cottage.
The seclusion and attentiveness of our host.. Extremy great value for the price. Well-connected withing the community and we wanted for nothing.

GermanyNothing to complain - it was perfect!
I really like the fact that the camp is powered by solar power and is truly renewable! Hasan is a really friendly host and he personally came to the bus station to pick us up. He also made sure that our stay was as enjoyable as possible. I also liked that the the camp is located away from other camps and therefore is a perfect spot for stargazing because there are less light pollution. If you're after lots of stars, do check the moon schedule as the moon can be really bright during the full-moon which may affect the visibility of the smaller stars. Having said that - the bright moon illuminating the dark desert was also something special to witness and you can still spot the main star formation and clusters of stars, which was very beautiful and so peaceful. In the day time, we enjoyed walking around the desert and bumped into a group of wild camels just roaming around - which was definitely an exciting experience. The view around the camp was also really beautiful. Moreover, I also had a great time spotting the plants in desert. We also joined Hasan's jeep-tour in the desert and had a really great time. He brought us to a lot of nice places and scenic spots to really enjoy the breathtaking Wadi Rum. He gave us plenty of time to explore at our own pace and made delicious tea. He also showed us the traditional bedouin way of making soap using plants after lunch, which was very interesting. For breakfast, Hasan got us a delicious local spread and it was served in the main dining hall overlooking the amazing view. For dinner, we were brought via the jeep to a traditional Bedouin buffet dinner - that was really delicious and was definitely the good value for money! There was also a dance party after dinner, which was also memorable. Both my wife and I really enjoyed our stay and will definitely love to return! Highly recommended!

ArmeniaThe only problem was initial miscommunication about where to leave our car and where to be picked up from. The guide had sent us the pinned location of the camp instead of the parking lot. We were driving in the desert until he found us and took us to the hotel by his car. In the hindsight it was funny to be lost in Wadi rum.
The overall experience was awesome. The beautiful panoramic views from your bubble room were mesmerising. The staff was really helpful and offered us to choose from the first row bubbles. Hence we ended up with great views. The room was spacious, enough hot water, tea/coffee station, extra blankets, AC, fridge, water and toiletries. Very impressive considering this is in the middle of the desert. We had a great 2 hrs jeep tour and our driver was hilarious and funny. Defendant worth the money. We paid extra for the dinner which was delicious. The breakfast was good too. At night we did stargazing and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Definitely worth trying.

GermanyHassan is the most friendly and welcoming host and gave us a excellent trip through the desert and a fire cooking experience. The night in his camp is great with views on the stars since its far away from the village, so be ready to be offline and in nature. We will come back anytime!

Hassan, Mohammed and their Familys are very wonderfull and nice people, we had an amazing evening and dinner with them and were invited to experience their culture, food and hospitality. After a 15 Minute ride to the isolated campsite in their truck we had an amazing view. In the night we could see a lot of Stars, even when lying in bed and looking through the window. In the morning we woke up at 7 a clock to watch the sunrise. All in all it was a great and wonderfull experience. For 27€ per Tent it was a very good and affordable Price for that kind of service. Thank you Hassan and Mohammed for your Kindness.

United StatesWe lost power in the whole camp at around 1am and the air conditioner stopped working. It was a very hot night in the desert and we were unable to get any sleep. If not for this experience, I would have rated the entire experience as excellent.
The team was amazing and did the best they could to insure that we all had a great time while we were there. The facilities were nice and the prepared meal was the best.

United KingdomBeware this isn’t inside Wadi Rum Reserve - it’s in Wadi Rum but outside the area that is protected. We spent over half an hour waiting at the Visitor Centre (where we’d agreed to meet the day prior) to then be told to go to a local house. The tour we were offered also wasn’t inside Wadi Rum reserve but outside it. We were also taken to a different camp to the one we booked - we looked on Google Maps and were staying at Amanda Luxury Camps. The view was nice but looked out over a highway. It was really disappointing to feel like we had been duped out of a lot of money for a non-reserve experience.
Beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. Food was fine (although note the dinner is an extra 15JOD each). Had a proper bathroom, which was good and the hot water was plentiful.
