This is not suitable for a quiet holiday. Although 1 pool is child free, the rest of the area, especially restaurants were full of tired children and parents unable to placate them.

On the beach, and plenty of space. Rooms a good size, but we were only in there to sleep.

The staff refused to put the light on tennis court after 6.30pm so it was very dark, despite being opened until 7pm The shower pressure could be stronger- it can be difficult to wash long hair after pool or sea swim

In the all inclusive drink menu, for Pina Colada, they put regular milk instead of coconut milk like in Pina Colada from Premium drink menu....sound cheaper saving and lack of respect for customer.

Breakfast, and lunch are a bit redundant...maybe create a turn over for some meals.

Beautiful premises, big rooms with ocean views, good AC, comfortable beds, great selection of different food and drinks, pools with fresh and clean water, very friendly stuff, monkeys in the garden, great spa center... althouhg there are a lot of rooms, nowhere it is crowded, beautiful beach is right in front of the resort...I recomend it!

I requested allergy friendly food but it was difficult at the buffet to get details about the ingredients. The staff were not prepared and did not understand.

1. There are 3 sections in the hotel, and looks like the first section next to the reception is the earliest built and requires significant renovation. 2. Cleaning was average, requiring improvements. I broke a cup (when monkey jumped yo our balcony), next day after cleaning it was still there. Meaning no one even opened the door to balcony. 3. Water in the tap is a bit salty, you can clearly feel the taste. Most probably it is everything in Mombasa, desalinization is not good. 4. Food is average. Meat was mostly tough. Fruits are not good, looks like October is not a season got fruits snd vegetables. Deserts also average.

1. Beach is beautiful, but there are some rocks in the water, so need to be careful 2. Pools are very nice 3. Staff is friendly 4. Hotel territory is nice, very green and pleasant to walk. 5. Hotel provides different types of activities, like yoga, zumba, and etc.

ACs were unreliable. Fleas/flies in room needed dealing with Electricity goes out in the evening but Generator takes a while to kick in.

Didn't like that the whole hotel was all inclusive it didn't make us feel special so it limits the experience. But that being said we had a wonderful time regardless.

My first holiday as a solo female traveler in Africa. At the beginning I was worried about the security and any possible stalker on the beach. Then the more I spent time with the polite, friendly and protective guard Said by the sea, the more I became confident about beachboys. He taught me how to get passed them without any interaction and I’m grateful for the tip. I also appreciate all the help from other guards Edwin and Michael. Sylvia became my best friend at the hotel. Thanks to her warm welcome at the dining area, I always felt at home and very comfortable during my solo holiday. Mohammad was an excellent and reliable driver. He helped me understand the Kenyan culture with his explanations during our 1 hour drive to the hotel.

The rooms need some renovation. Our main issue was the feeling of having damp rooms, with humidity. There is a situation with the monkeys in the hotel that makes it not recommendable to open the windows. Basically if you open them you will get the monkeys in your room, so we had to leave rooms closed at all times and AC on the whole time,which makes the stay in our room very uncomfortable. This was the worst part of the stay. On the contrary the rest of the areas of the hotel, in particular the gardens, were well kept. Staff was very nice and did their best to make the hotel work for us. We wouldn´t recommend for more than 2 days... but it can be an option to stay in budget in a hotel with a nice surroundings.

Baobab Tree hotel provided a decent experience in a very nice set up. The garden is really outstanding and the option of roaming through the three hotels was very nice. The food in the buffet was good, with good variety, and we didn´t have any issues. Overall good hygiene measures. Entertainment is present, but doesn´t bother you, it is very discrete. And location in front of the beach is outstanding.

Rooms are fairly dated and wornout. Also the bathrooms very a bit dirty and not what you would expect from a 4 start hotel. But it's Africa and in general the rooms were still okay and clean (expect the bathroom).

I had to ask to change rooms because of poor wifi, room not near my children's room and shower not hot enough. They did this after one night and they offered as an apology that we could use their facilities on our last day for no extra cost. The staff were very kind and friendly and seemed to enjoy working there.

Walking along the beach and having the beach hawkers constantly trying to sell there wares.

Fantastic holiday. So nice to relax and do nothing. Food was excellent and staff very helpful. Great time had. Lovely pools.

The room was large and lovely, with a huge bed and comfortable indoor- and outdoor seating options. The resort is enormous: there are 3 swimming pools and 3 restaurants. The views of the ocean are simply stunning. Breakfast was excellent and varied everyday. Lunch and dinner was very similar and towards the end of our 5th day, started to lack variety. There are excellent restaurants outside of the resort and it's worth to go and explore. The staff were simply excellent. Helpful, friendly, and attentive.

The property is right on the beach. The architecture, landscape, well preserved indigenous trees, and green lawns provide for beautiful sea and beach views that are hard to recreate. One can effortlessly alternate between swimming in the sea, pool, and reading under a tree. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and our needs were met. The rooms were clean, air-conditioned, and have great views. Variety at mealtimes. I especially enjoyed the traditional Kenyan dishes and Indian cuisine. Consideration for guest entertainment.

shower drainage smelt like sewers. they were quick to help upon request but unable to fix the situation. some drain cleaning must be conducted

great hotel, as a regular I’m disappointed by the dip in quality since Covid. I hope they bounce back !
