At the end there were little kids at the compound. The host send us a message afterwards to apologize because normally kids are not allowed but the guests just came with them so they could not send them away. This caused small frustrations to us because they were very loud and taking over the whole pool and splashing our stuff.

The rooms were ready for us and the check-in was on time. If we had questions they were happy to help us and we also got a message on booking from the host with all the details and info we needed to know. The pool was always really clean, the rooms got cleaned if we asked and the staff was super friendly.

The location is near the airport but far from the main road. The host Liz and her husband are such lovely and kind people. The check in was so smooth and the compound is beautiful, quiet and very clean, the pool had a clear water, clean🤗 The room was cleaned on request and they made our stay so comfortable and we felt at home. There's a kitchen area, so you can prepare your own meals There's a ladder to the rooftop, where you can have a better view of the green area plus even, you might be lucky enough and a plane passes over your head while landing 🤓 how cool is that. The bed was so comfortable and the studio was so spacious. The internet connection is good and the TV works well. There's also a cave with seats, where you can also relax and enjoy the breeze. Their convertible seats are the order of the day after a long, tiring day out🤭 Liz, helped a lot with my daughter and she's such a sweet soul. I'm definitely coming back to Diani, just to experience this again.😃

Nothing. Looking forward to my next visit

I had such a great stay at Cave Diani that I ended up extending for 2 more days. It's very close to the Ukunda air strip and you can watch the planes land at close proximity. It's very quiet at night and I felt very secure as a solo female traveller. The location is off the beaten path but the hosts provide contact numbers for Tuk Tuk/ Boda Boda or SGR transfers which is quite helpful. I quite enjoyed taking a dip in the pool in the coastal heat. The recliner seats were very comfortable and so was the bed. I loved their oversized towels and the shower was great as well. Collin and Lisa are great hosts; always available and hands on.

Absolutely enjoyed my stay at cave diani villas !Everything was exactly as seen in the pictures while booking.The hosts are super friendly and always available to sort all your inquiries during your stay. The villas are a quick drive (via tuktuk) to the lovely diani beaches . My favourite part of my stay was interacting with the other guests & with the lovely kitties 😸 at diani villas every afternoon if you are a cat lover be sure to carry some cat treats with you during your stay 😉 ! This is the perfect spot to relax and get away from busy city life,Can't wait to be back again.

Going forward perhaps look at ways of making the rooms cooler

Enjoyed my stay at Cave Diani. The establishment has recently opened and started taking guest so they were open to feedback. The hosts Lisa and Colin were informative and helpful. The environment is gorgeous and the view from the infinity pool at night is fabulous!

Overall, I had a great experience. The host was incredibly accommodating so friendly, and the amenities were great l loved the pool and the Cave cool breeze. The room was wonderful, spacious, clean and very comfortable bed. Restaurant, bars n the supermarket were just about 5 minutes drive n the white sandy beach too. I highly recommend.

Very beautiful and peaceful place, the room was super clean and well maintained. I LOVED every bit of it, and the host was extremely friendly and welcoming, she provided us with information about all nearby attractions. My favorite about this place is the gorgeous swimming pool and the atmosphere in the cave. We loved our stay here and I would definitely recommend it!

Location is a little off the main road, had to depend on tuk tuk (little Bajaj cars) for transportation to the city center for grocery and dinning and also to go to the beach. Walking at night to the apartment was not an option for me personally.

The host replies quickly. The pool was excellent, the ventilation system in the room is excellent for the hot weather. Well kept. Room is clean and nice. Kitchen was good for cooking, fridge is also enough.
